Challenging, but fun experience! Really brings together all of our coding knowledge. Matt is a good instructor who takes his time explaining the logic behind his code, and the SheCodes team is extremely helpful when you reach out for help : )

Very easy to follow and understand. I enjoyed how the challenges were just that, challenges. Matt would throw in parts not yet learned, in order for us to learn how to research and find the answer on our own.

I recently had the opportunity to participate in a coding class offered by SheCodes, and I must say it was an incredible experience. The course was well-structured, and the instructors were knowledgeable, patient, and passionate about teaching coding skills. SheCodes gave me the courage to step out of my comfort zone and embrace a completely new field. I'm sure that my military background has contributed somewhat to my ability to undertake this change with flexibility and perseverance but SheCodes makes it possible and fun. Taking this Basics workshop made me enjoy learning how to code. Some aspects were a little challenging at first, but Matt explains each lesson in such a simple way that makes it easy to understand. Also, I really appreciated the Slack community! Whenever I had a question or needed help fixing my code, support was provided quickly.
The follow up and response on she codes is fantastic, the tutorial videos are helpful and the explanations are understandable The existence of Etna's coding guide, which is excellent in describing and explaining the code, this course was very wonderful for me.

This was a great tutorial on React! However, I do wish that this had been a different project from the previous course, or that we had at least learned the unit conversion all the way through to the end.

At first it looked intimidating but once I got started it wasn't so scary. I really enjoyed this workshop and look forward to expanding my knowledge.
The Responsive Add-on was very fun- creating a travel webpage full of recommended sites and excursions and a photo gallery. I can't wait to add more travel pages to my website portfolio!

I went into this with no knowledge what so ever, and I was so scared I wasn't going to understand anything. But I'm so glad I took the chance and gained this experience. SheCodes Basic was easy to follow and understand. If you're thinking about doing it, DO IT.
SheCodes is AWESOME! Best decision to start my coding journey. Being able to understand how software was built, and seeing that coding as a job was within reach for me, despite not having studied computer science, was massively illuminating. I was hooked after completing the introduction into coding. Matt was awesome and very knowledgeable. Highly recommend SheCode to anyone!

SheCodes PLUS is definitely a step-up from Basics. I really enjoyed creating the weather app and learning the complexity of functions, api integrations, and HTML structure. I was able to follow-along to Matt's teaching, and I used Slack to ask any questions I may of had. The Athena AI was useful too, that was a nice feature.
This has been an awesome re-emergence back into the world of coding! I took some coding in college years ago and forgot almost everything I learned 😮 This course was super easy to follow and I feel like I am well equipped to go to the next level! 😄
This was a great challenge, especially being out of school for two years. I am definitely going to continue this program!
I am in a middle of a career change and wanted to try coding to see if this was something I can do and most importantly want to do for a new path in my life. I was nervous at first about these courses being online, but SheCodes made it very easy to do and having the videos to go back and listen to Matt's instructions worked better then in-person classes. I loved it and found out I am not bad at coding! I am looking forward to learning more in the other advanced courses in SheCodes. Don't be scared to learn something new at any age. Spoken from a 44 years old 😉.

After several attempts of teaching myself coding, after a while, I realized that I needed more structure and a solid step-by-step process to guide me through to the end. After relentlessly searching and realizing how expensive bootcamps are, I came across SheCodes. Not only has it been affordable, it has given me a break down of each piece of coding for better understanding while facilitating an infrastructure of support. 10 out of 10 would recommend again!

I wanted to take a coding class because I've always been intrigued by it, but I thought it was so difficult to learn. However, while in college I took a coding class and really enjoyed the challenge of the work and the elation when it finally comes together. The SheCodes basics made it super easy to grasp the concepts. I am excited to continue my journey and pivot into UI/UX & Front-End Development.

I was looking to learn new skills outside of my professional field and I kept seeing an ad for a free introductory session with SheCodes, so I saw it as a sign and ended up taking the plunge and signing up! I wish there were more workshops by SheCodes, that is how much I love it. It is such a user-friendly program and you actually look forward to working on the projects and homework. It takes patience and dedication and SheCodes makes it easy to feel excited to learn these skills. This is the most thorough workshop I have ever done and I can't wait to see what's next to learn from this program. I have learned so so much, more than any other coding workshop I have taken with any other program. I love it here.
Before doing the SheCodes Basic Workshop, I thought coding was way over my head. I had watched a few youtube videos and nothing seemed to make sense. It was like everyone was speaking a different language. But this workshop made everything so easy to understand. I felt a huge sense of accomplishment after just the first few lessons. Matt made learning the basics of coding a lot of fun and very exciting!
Helpful workshop but one on one meetings or a different format may be more beneficial. Valuable info but not significant enough to truly help with the study and continued coding future.
React was by far the most challenging but most gratifying course SheCodes has provided. I'm excited to apply it to my future career in the coming months.
