I have been wanting to get into coding and acquire new and much needed skills. SheCodes has helped me a lot. The material is easy to follow and the challenges are fun which makes everything you learn stick. I recommend anyone and everyone try these workshops if you can.

This Responsive course provided me with a new knowledge and helped me greatly in understanding how to create a responsive multipage website. While it initially posed some challenges, particularly for newcomers like myself, the experience was enjoyable, and I gained a tremendous amount of valuable insights.

Completing the coding classes has been a transformative experience for me. I started with little to no knowledge of web development, but now I feel confident in my skills with React, React Responsive, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Node.js, Hosting, GitHub, Netlify & VS Code. The curriculum was well-structured, covering both fundamental concepts and advanced topics, enabling me to build interactive and responsive web applications.

SheCodes Plus Add-On was such a great learning experience, I feel like I am really starting to get the hang of javascript! The final project was a "World Clock" and it was so fun to design! 11/10 would recommend SheCodes to anyone who wants to learn to code.

This was an amazing introduction to the world of front-end development. The videos and challenges are engaging and provide the learning environment needed to cultivate your skills.
I thought this class was great. I'm a Delivery Manager and am taking this course to improve my technology terminology because I work with engineers.
This course was very challenging at times, but it is really nice to see what I was able to put together after all of the hours spent learning and building the final project. I do think it helped to increase my understanding of Javascript, and get more comfortable with coding. There were some lessons I felt went a little too fast for beginners, but I was still able to put together a great project for my portfolio and lean on members in the Slack channels so overall I am happy with this workshop!
Loved getting to use new html elements and styling strategies. Great add-on to things already learned.
I can't believe I have just created my own website using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript in the past three weeks. I chose SheCodes because I work full-time and require flexible learning options. With SheCodes, I have been able to adjust my study time according to my schedule. Whenever I encountered challenges, I always had a support system through Slack, where I received assistance and learned how to address coding issues. The SheCodes staff are incredibly kind and attentive, genuinely listening to any concerns I had. I am thrilled to be a part of the SheCodes community and eagerly look forward to furthering my learning with SheCodes!
I recently completed SheCodes Plus and couldn't be more impressed with the program. The curriculum was well thought out and easy to follow. The course was 8 weeks long and focused on building a weather page and utilizing APIs. Matt is a wonderful instructor and the help team is always available to answer questions and provide guidance. I really enjoyed the entire course, how things were broken down and digestible for the user to understand. It was so easy to follow, and I really looked forward to my lessons each week. I just completed SheCodes Plus and it was amazing. The first workshop was great too, but a bit of general "information overload" whereas the Plus workshop is where it all came together for me. The foundation that was set in the Introduction to Coding was vital - as without that basis this workshop would have been very, very difficult. As a non-engineer member of an IT team, my whole objective was to familiarize myself with the basics of the technologies that my team members use everyday; and now, not only do I feel more confident when communicating with my team, but I also have discovered a new passion -- for coding!
This whole coding journey was very fun! Challenging....but fun! It ended up being a very rewarding experience and I would have never thought I would enter this field. I cannot wait to start my new career! The entire SheCodes staff is very kind and Matt is awesome at teaching. I am grateful for this entire experience.
I loved this program! It was both super fun to complete as well as structured and informative. The deadlines help me to stay on top of my work and there's lots of resources provided to have continuous support. My skills progressed much faster than they have while trying other coding programs. I can't wait to get through all the other workshops SheCodes has to offer!
Great Workshop
The workshop was challenging but in a good way, I feel like I have genuinely learned a new set of skills that I can permanently use and won't forget. It was good to have challenges often, so you can practice often, it helps you actually learn and develop your skill.
I so greatly appreciate the people at SheCodes and all my fellow classmates that encourage each other and help one another whenever something gets complicated or even when life gets a little tough. I can't stress it enough that anybody that wants a start in the world of coding or let alone tech, definitely look into SheCodes!

I loved learning the basics of coding and creating projects of my own. I have a much greater appreciation for how front-end development works.
Since late 2022 I thought about doing a career change, and Coding was at the top of my interests. A SheCodes Ad came up on my Facebook feed, and I took it as a sign. I registered for the Free SheCodes Class and it convinced me to try it!. I am happy I signed up for the Basics Workshop because it has thought me so much in such little time! Matt is a GREAT instructor, he makes it easier to understand and learn. I am excited to continue my coding journey , and hopefully become a Front-end Developer!

SheCodes Plus has kicked my butt, but I would do it all over again. The lessons, the way Matt teaches, it's wondeful.
This is fine as a high-level course, but I was hoping for more details on approaches, alternative ways of thinking, etc. I know the purpose was to teach components and how to compartmentalize code, but the solution provided does not seem like the most efficient way. Also, React is evolving and the course may need updating.
