I had been wanting to get back into coding as a hobby and I really have enjoyed sheCodes! a friend and I have been doing it together and it has been fun. It is easy to follow along and go at your own pace. It is also a great community of women!
I'm so glad I continued on after taking the SheCodes Basics course. I absolutely loved the structure of SheCodes Plus and plan to continue on all the way through both the Pro and Max courses. I feel like I have found what I really enjoy doing as it's a mix of creativity and organization. I'm always excited to learn new things and Matt has designed these courses in a way that really speaks to my learning style.
The SheCodes Plus workshop was tough at times, but by the end I received a much better understanding with coding especially JavaScript. Plus, I can say I have a functioning weather app! Sharing the link with family and friends and hopefully they can get some use out of it. Thanks to Matt and the SheCodes team for advancing my knowledge in coding!! π
I am super happy I decided to add the SheCodes Basics Add-On Project to my curriculum. That 1 extra project gave me the "push" I needed to increase my confidence in coding.
This was a fun workshop. I cannot wait to get started on the next one. I had zero knowledge of coding before signing up for this workshop and now all I see are endless possibilities.
I recently had the opportunity to participate in SheCodes workshops, and I must say it was an incredible experience. As someone with no coding background, I was initially intimidated by the world of programming. The Basics Add-On was an amazing opportunity to match some of the skills we had learned already with additional elements that improved the page layout and usability. The Basics Add-on was awesome! It helped build from the skills developed in the Basics workshop. Also, it was great to help retain information that I thought I would have forgotten but didn't. Getting that little extra practice in and also adding some really cool elements to what I already knew was really neat to see.
This course was challenging but rewarding at the same time. I definitely learned a lot and look forward to applying the skills and techniques in the future.

The class provides hands-on learning, which allows me to understand at a faster pace. Matt explains concepts very well even to beginners. Athena AI is a great tool to quickly get feedback in real-time.
I had never coded before and I loved SheCodes Basics for it's short video lessons and exercises I could fit into my day. The workshop format is really fun. I found myself excited to set time to work on it and I feel like I learned a lot. Coding is no longer intimidating for me, and I've gained a new interest. I'm really glad I tried it.

I am so happy I decided to try to learn how to code. I never thought it would be easy, but the course is designed for anyone who has never tried to code. The instructor Matt Delac is so informative, and the lesson is taught step by step. If you're undecided about joining, rest assured that you won't regret it.
Iβve always wanted to do something tech based. Ever since I was little I was always taking things apart and putting them back together and really learning and understanding how things worked and me being the person that I am I looked for ways to advance those things and what better way than to do that then with coding. Learning code has been a fun and challenging experience for me and I love it.

Difficult, but amazing program
I've learned so much about code in just 3 weeks. I've learned CSS, HTML, and Java. I love that I can work at my own pace and that each lesson has a detailed video tutorial to walk me through the process. I am pleased with my experience.

I would 100% recommend Matt's SheCodes Basics workshop to any and every woman interested in coding. This is a course for all ages, ability levels, and education levels. Matt is an outstanding teacher and skillfully breaks down each concept for easy understanding. I started as an absolute novice and thanks to Matt and his skillful TAs, coding concepts within CSS, HTML, and Javascript are now demystified and accessible to me. This course has been worth every penny. Happy to chat with anyone who is on the fence or not sure about this course....

With each workshop i take with SheCodes, the better my knowledge and skill of coding gets better with each time. I had a great time learning the front-end aspect and how developers uses tools like Figma. I absolutely loved this workshop. I had a great time learning responsive.
The SheCodes coding basics has really been a beautiful journey for me. I have learned a lot in such a short period of time and although I have very little time to dedicate to the course, eventually I completed the workshop and from here on the sky is not even the limit.
I have been in the design field for almost 15 years. I needed to expand my knowledge of HTML, CSS, & JavaScript, as I am working towards being a UI designer, but I was so intimidated to learn how to code. I attended the free 60-minute class, and surprisingly it seemed pretty simple with how Matt explained everything. I was shocked and excited at how quickly I caught on with everything in the basics course. This course has definitely boosted my confidence! Now I really enjoy coding with HTML, CSS, & JavaScript. I can't wait to learn more.

It shouldn't be possible that each workshop gets better but with Shecodes they do. I had a blast completing my portfolio and tackling SEO. I loved building this project and learning to work with figma. This was such a good session can't wait to jump into the next.

My coworkers kept telling me I should leave healthcare and because Software Engineering would be my true talent, Along the way, I encountered a few challenges, but the most important thing is that I had an incredible amount of fun. The thrill I felt when my code finally worked is beyond words to the point I would yell in the living room. This is only the beginning, and I can't wait to see what SheCodes Plus has in store for me. I Can't Wait!

Learning react is very crucial for anyone who wants to work as a front end developer and Shecode's react course is great for learning it. It was a bit challenging but I could get answer to all my problems by watching videos and doing homework again. I absolutely love SheCodes! While my time completing SheCodes "Plus" was indeed very challenging, I don't regret my decision joining this workshop. I don't know if I'll upgrade my learning to SheCodes "Pro" or "Max". But, I will definitely go back and review all of my material (from Basics and Plus) and redo all of my challenges to get a better understanding of everything I learned.
I loved this course so much, and now have another functioning page to show to my own computer science students. I will definitely be adding this add-on project to my personal portfolio!

This has been a great experience and I recommend this course to anyone who is interested in learning something new but doesn't want to be overwhelmed. It's very well explained and very beginner friendly, other courses I've tried focus too much on theory and use too much technical jargon too soon. This is so well paced, you start coding on day 1 and you will surprise yourself at how well you grasp it so early on.
I enjoyed the course so much! All the classes were straight to the point and always proposing a practical exercise for everything we learned. Not everything was easy, but I honestly had a lot of fun and I am very happy with everything I learned. The support on Slack was also great, I could find help for most of the moments I got stuck and managed to fix any troubles. I also really enjoyed how the courses motivates us to find our own solutions and explore different options instead of just focusing on a single alternative for everything.
This was a fun project to put together, and after going through all of the courses leading up to this it was nice to see myself being more confident in my code and what I should be doing without having to ask as many questions. Definitely a cool project to add to my portfolio!
React is definitely challenging. The more you do it, it starts to make more sense but I felt that you really need to have a good understanding of JS alone before trying to tackle React. I felt very confused throughout a lot of this workshop but still gained a lot of knowledge from it.

I am extremely grateful for all of the knowledge I have absorbed the last couple of months, thanks to SheCodes and Matt Delac. I went from knowing absolutely nothing about coding, to knowing how to build an entire website, and have had so much fun while learning. I have one workshop left to finish along with a couple projects, and am eager to see what more I can do and continue to learn. I have fallen in love with programming and developing and can't wait to see what is in store for me and my future in both.
Comfortable platform, clear short lessons. I like the way the course is divided into meaning blocks and the lessons are recorded in advance. At the end of each lesson there is a challenge to check the student's understanding of the material. In my opinion, pre-recording is a very handy thing, because you can stop the video at any moment and repeat the unclear material. Join SheCodes!

SheCodes Responsive was one of the challenging but exciting workshop to me.
