I was nervous coding would be another thing I gave up on as it initially seemed beyond my scope of comprehension, however, SheCodes comes HIGHLY recommended from me as the program much exceeded my expectations and was a very thorough and enjoyable course and community welcoming for all learning types!
This was a great workshop! I got to learn a lot from this add-on project from pure css to responsive css grids, html table, css filters, hero and html embeds. I feel happy and proud that I am now familiar with more advanced topics and finished my project.
SheCodes workshop helps me to gain knowledge in coding. It gave me confidence to accomplish my goal in the coming years to come. I am looking forward to learn more so I would be able to confidently use it for my future career.

There are many different options for learning to code but as a very busy woman with minimal free time, I decided to go with she codes and i'm very thankful that I did. Not only are there countless testimonies of women absolutely loving the program, for good reasons of course, those same alumni are the ones there for 24/7 helping you through the course when you need help. The material is easy to follow and beautifully laid out. I can't wait for the rest of my front-developers journey, it's so full i'm thinking of aiming for full-stack developer. This workshop has been the most fun I have had in a while. I originally signed up to learn something new and maybe start a new career, it challenged my brain in ways it hasn't been challenged since University. Before this course I could not have opened html and known what I was looking at. Now I can comfortably navigate and make a single page with interactions. This course means so much to me. I've spent the past three weeks learning HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and it has been an incredibly exciting experience. There's nothing quite like the feeling of finally figuring out the right code and bringing your vision to life!
I have always wanted to start my career in tech. But as someone who always worked as an office assistant, it was hard to move into that field. This course allowed me to learn and gain experience in tech. Hopefully, by the end of this, I will be able to step out of being an assistant and become something I want to be and do something I enjoy.
Great that more opportunities to create projects were added. Has helped me better understand formats and as well build my portfolio better!

I enjoyed the structure of SheCodes video lessons. They gave enough detail to understand the concepts, while being short enough to keep your attention, and stay manageable. I enjoyed the small challenges and homework, because these were great ways to practice the concepts.
SheCodes Responsive Add-On workshop as been an absolute game-changer for me. I experienced immense growth as a frontend developer during this workshop. The travel project was engaging and challenged me to think creatively and critically. I wholeheartedly recommend SheCodes Responsive Add-On!

I spent weeks trying to learn HTML, CSS, and Java script. Matt explained it clearly in 3 days. I learned how to implement new design ideas and use basic functions. I am extremely impressed by this workshop. Since the workshop is go at your own pace, I completed the entire workshop in 3 days time and built a basic functional website that is appealing. Thank you!

SheCodes Basics Add On taught me new skills while practicing skills I learned in the Basics workshop, and helped me to apply them in an additional project. I felt much more confident building this project than the last and am excited to keep practicing while expanding my skill set.

I was looking for another opportunity to find what I want to do with my life, so I took up the challenge of coding, something that I have never dipped my feet into. I am so glad I signed up for this course! I have learned so much and feel so proud of what I have so far accomplished, whether small or large. The instruction was so detailed that even an absolute beginner like me understood every single thing. I highly recommend taking this course, even if it is not career-changing. Getting to know the basics of coding in today's society is a good skill to acquire because almost everything revolves around the internet (therefore coding). After 6 months of hard work, I am ecstatic to have completed this coding BootCamp. Matt was awesome at explaining the foundational principles of coding language and I can not wait to continue to improve as a developer. I just took SheCodes Plus after finishing Basic and I'd say it was great learning about APIs and how to commit changes and host my app on a live site. The course is long but for good reason! All the information is so invaluable and I feel much more confident in my skills as a programmer now! I'm excited to continue my journey with SheCodes :)
I really enjoy working with CSS and each video lesson was easy to follow. Impressed by how quickly CSS can turn a website from bland to looking professionally done even by someone who is new to coding.

This workshop was definitely worth all the extra late night studying!! There was so much to learn and sometimes it did get a little bit overwhelming but I'm happy that I never gave up even when I doubted myself once in a while. Coding in SheCodes Plus was a new experience! I enjoyed creating and learning JavaScript and understanding how APIs really integrate in different applications. I faced some difficulties with bugs and language continuity in JavaScript in HTML, but I overcame them with patience and persistence since that just seems to come with the territory. Can't wait to learn more!
I had a great experience with SheCodes. I have learned a lot of new things. I enjoyed the setup of the lectures. I liked that after you watch the lectures there are also notes to look at and reference websites to go to for further information. The challenges help apply what you have learned so that you do not forget what you just learned after you watch the lectures. After this wonderful experience I do see myself taking another workshop.
The workshop is easy to follow and extremely fun! You are able to bring in your creativity to create projects that are interesting to you! Matt has done a great job in creating a workshop that ALL women can enjoy!
I am truly amazed at how quickly I was able to learn all of these javascript functions. I knew I was really catching on during the final project when I could pause the video, work ahead, and then watch to be sure I had coded that section correctly. I am so grateful that SheCodes is set up in such realistic and manageable sections.

When I first started coding with sheCodes Basic I did not have any idea what I was doing. But after completing basics I got some confidence in coding. Also, I found it super fun thing to do. Today after completing the Plus workshop I feel like I have chose the prefect career for me, all thanks to SheCodes and Matt. The way this workshop is designed is awesome from basics to advance level. The online slack community is very useful, whenever I get any confusion I ask question on the slack and someone from the team get back to me really fast. Recently they have introduced Athena AI which I believe is super cool and useful feature. She could even write you a code if you are not sure how or from where to start. I am really very excited to start my next workshop- SheCodes Responsive😃.

This workshop was a great way to review what was taught in the main Responsive Course. I did get a little burnout along the way and had to take a long break before submitting my project, but thankfully, I was able to push through and complete it. Overall, I still enjoyed this workshop and all the skills reviewed here.

Working my way through the workshop with no experience in coding was actually really easy and even enjoyable. Once I got into the hang of it, it became a part of my weekly routine and I began to look forward to my evenings of working on my lessons while listening to SheCodes Radio (one of my favorite parts of the website tbh). As I continue to work through the other workshops, I can really see myself continuing down this path and pursuing a career in the tech world. I had been looking into other computer coding courses/bootcamps when I saw the ad for SheCodes and I really do think this was the best fit for me in comparison to the other programs. I feel like SheCodes is made for the students to succeed, from the flexible deadlines to the affordable monthly payments, that's what attracted me. I'm really thankful for these workshops and I am eager to see where this takes me.

I've just started learning and I fell in love with the style of teaching that is provided by shecodes. It's easy to follow, I can go back and review as many times as I need without going through hours of video on things I don't need. It's easy to navigate and I'm enjoying learning with it.
Very helpful, will for sure be taking more classes to improve my skills and will be telling everyone about ShesCode!
As a person who has a hard time self-learning, especially with CS, SheCodes's short-video format and simplistic yet detailed-enough explanations really motivated me to start and develop my HTML, CSS, and JavaScript skills. I especially love this class format with required challenges and homework to submit as it holds me accountable to learning coding skills associated with those languages very well, something I wouldn't necessarily have without this course.
This was a fun experience! Matt is a great teacher. I can't wait to take the SheCodesPro course.

This Responsive Workshop has been a game-changer!!! Learning additional tips and tricks to enable projects to be Responsive has been incredible. I feel that I have watched my code improve overnight and the confidence I am gaining in my coding is the absolute best feeling!!! My SheCodes experience has been pleasant. I had no prior experience or knowledge about coding until completing this course. I strongly suggest completing the Responsive Add-on workshop from SheCodes! Although learning about grids and tables was difficult, Matt made it easy to comprehend. As someone who has worked with Figma before, Matt provided valuable insight into the differences between a developer's and a designer's approach. I'm excited to begin the next workshop! 👩💻
SheCodes is a wonderful invaluable experience. I have learned so much. It is always such a rush to see your code work. I am forever grateful to this amazing source of representation of women coding. You'll build projects you can be proud of, show them off, and maybe land your dream job.
Overall, I enjoyed this course. It was very different to the Basic course. A little more hand holding, but it was also very difficult, so I can understand why. I would recommend it!
