The way Matt teaches this course is very easy to follow and challenging at the same time. He teaches you concepts and then builds on them in each exercise. I also like how he forces you to learn how to figure things out on your own first. That way you truly learn to code.

Taking the SheCodes workshop is a great way to slowly integrate into coding and decide if a career in the tech field is something worth pursuing for yourself. The videos were detailed and concise, making it easier for me to grasp all of the presented elements. I never knew coding could be so much fun!
This workshop helped me expand my html and JavaScript skills. Learning to inject a library file into my code and create a project that operated off of real time data was cool. Thanks for the easy-to-follow steps and looking forward to starting the responsive workshop.

Really enjoyed this course! I've tried other courses and this one is the best course i've done so far. I love that we are able to use something like vscode rather than online IDEs.
All the coding topics covered are clearly explained and easy to follow. With all the resources available, it was easy to navigate through completing homework, challenges, and the final project.
This workshop was very hard for me to get through at times. With my full-time job, and wrapping up this last semester of college, it was hard to put in the time necessary to finish this workshop. Furthermore, I often had to go back and rewatch videos for topics I had forgotten. But either way, I finished it and I am so proud of myself! Thank you Matt and the SheCodes team!
I am in love with this program deeply. I just get so happy when I work through a problem and solve it. The material is so understandable, plus all the extra projects and add-ons are so fun and achievable. I can't wait to see my journey as a front-end developer blossom and to graduate as one of the great alumni.

I am a life time learner who believes that we should never stop being a student. I have learned so many skills while being under the SheCodes umbrella. Every time I visit a website I find myself intrigued and can't help but to inspect it. I would gladly give SheCodes a million stars if I could, not only are the courses beginner friendly and easy to navigate. But, every lesson and every week it makes you a better coder.
I always like the add-ons as they're a great chance to practice what you learnt in the main course making everything clearer, they're easier to complete and - as such - less frustrating and a bit more fun, plus Matt always adds something new and useful that's not included in the main course.
I loved creating this world clock project! Matt's teaching style never ceases to impress me. He explains everything so well and it all clicks for me!

I had much more fun than I thought I would by taking this course! Honestly, it was a blast to learn the basics and I would love to further my education with She Codes. 10/10 would recommend it to others interested in coding. Way better than trying to watch youtube videos, very interactive!
This course definitely challenges you. It challenges your grit and perseverance. I had to do a lot of research. There were alot more nights of giving up for the night and coming back with a fresh mind. But I finished! I am so glad I stuck with it. You may feel really lost when starting the course on Javascript but with the practice this course requires, a lot of the functions will become less foreign.
This has been a great experience so far! Matt is an awesome instructor that breaks things down so well. I am also grateful for the Shecodes team being there whenever I need them. They offer great solutions, and not to mention the resources you obtain is amazing. I very excited to move to the next phase and broaden my future with coding!

SheCodes Plus was a great way to dive deeper into JS and use APIs to inject different sources into your webpage.
Basics Add-On may sounds simplistic but it is still continuously challenging at best when learning to advance your HTML, CSS, and JavaScript skills. It helps me to review my work more diligently into practice. It is fun to learn there are more ways to enhance my creativity and knowing so many options to alter my elements. 😀

The SheCodes responsive course was amazing for those who want to learn about launching responsive websites. At the end of this course, you can build your own responsive website that looks good on mobile devices,too.

This add-on class was great as we are given the tools and allowed to work with them for our own creations.
I enjoy how React is like putting a puzzle together. The ability to chunk and section the code into components makes it much easier to work through and process.

I enjoyed my time learning coding basics through SheCodes! The classes were broken down in a way that was easy to understand and allowed for a lot of practice. I learned so much and I'm grateful for the jumping off point! I plan to take more coding lessons to expand my knowledge.
If you are wondering if you can learn to code around a busy schedule such as juggling a full-time job and attending children's school and sport activities, the answer is YES, you can! Lessons are divided into bite-size pieces. The instructor's micro-learning structure enables students to learn a little at a time and at their own pace. Lessons include tutorial videos and support along the way. When I began my course a couple of weeks ago, I was uncertain if I could really be successful. I am so grateful I stretched my comfort zone and gave it a try! It was so rewarding to see my finished product. Even better, was the look on my children's faces when they saw what I was able to accomplish in a short timeframe! Thanks to Matt, the instructor, and the SheCodes team, I feel empowered to continue learning to code. Whether you are young or young-at-heart, whether you are busy with work or family --whatever your situation is-- if you are wondering if you can really do this "coding thing," the answer is: YES, you can!

I just wanted to share a quick note about She Codes and let everyone know that this is one of the best programs/workshop I have ever joined. I'm glad I have decided to work overtime to pay for this workshop certificates because it is worth every penny. It is beyond my expectations Matt and his team are excellent communicative and if you need anything it is very easy to navigate your account to what you are looking for. I have nothing at all to complain about.

SheCodes Plus is very challenging I must attest but it is best to follow and code along from Week 7 - Week 8 because if you just watch and decide to code it later, you will not know where to start. I had a fantastic experience completing the she codes basics add-on certification. This one-week course served as a valuable refresher for my foundational skills. I am now filled with a newfound confidence in utilizing CSS and HTML effectively. The course thoughtfully included a simple website project, which has become a valuable addition to my work portfolio. This course has gone by incredibly fast. I can not believe I can do some of the things we are learning. I was confident enough to add additional code to my final project that was not within the mainframe of the guidelines. I enjoy that there is room for creativity within our projects, it really helps make learning to code fun!
