Fun and informative. It was satisfying to be able to use many things I learned in SheCodes Plus on another project.
I became more confident with my coding skills in SheCodes Responsive. Matt does an excellent job of breaking down the process which helped me to improve my coding skills.
I love everything so far that SheCodes provides, from the workshops to the community. I've learned so much more in the last three weeks then when I tried to learn on my own. The weekly deadlines keep me motivated and on top of my work. I can't wait to continue learning my coding journey with SheCodes.
I loved the add-on course! It was an excellent way to reinforce concepts from Basics, and I even picked up a few new ones.
This Plus course was VERY challenging, frustrating at times, but I learned soooo much. I excited with my progress, and looking forward to moving onto the next Plus + project.
As I get deeper into the lessons, it gets more challenging. I enjoyed this project and I understand I will really have to practice to get better.....and I will get better! :)

The Basics course has been so much fun to complete. I really enjoyed how engaging the material was. The format of the course helps to solidify the concepts learned, and apply them into projects, which is such a great way of learning.
The add on class has been really helpful in learning some more advanced HTML and CSS. I really love the format of the workshops, too.
I loved working on this weather app and spending time learning how API, Bootstrap, GitHub, Git, and hosting really are. This took most of my time but it was all worth it in the end. I hope to learn more.
SheCodes was a wonderful experience. The videos were very easy to follow and easy to understand. Matt is correct that it is fun to try and figure things out how to make your code unique and fun. I can now look at a piece of code and get a general idea of what it means and how it functions. I still have a lot to learn, but the basics is great and I feel like I learned a lot!
SheCodes Basic Add-On was a little more complex but used very similar coding styles as Basic. You do learn more tricks to snag up a page and it was very fun to create something based on something I liked. Can't wait for the next round of learning!

The SheCodes Plus course taught me how to use Javascript in depth. It was a lot of fun building, designing, and then rebuilding the project. I feel like I have a great grasp on Javascript now!

Through the SheCodes Basics course, I was able to brush up on old concepts and learn new strategies to make my code more effective. The pacing of the course is perfect for a beginner and Matt is great at explaining new concepts. I would highly recommend this course for anyone who is interested in basic coding.

Learning to code has been exciting! I like how the courses are brief yet very clear on what we need to learn. You can go at your own pace if you need more or less time on a lesson. You have access to all the tools and materials needed for the class. No matter what situation you may be in, I'm so thankful to have found this. Being a mom of 3 and my youngest being 3 years old, I can still be successful and achieve this goal without having to compromise my time or schedule. Thank you!!

This course was very challenging it moved quite fast but I believe it intends for you to apply prior knowledge, so its a great way for you to identify the material you may need some extra time on.

There was some difficult parts but it was interesting to learn about bootstrap and API.
When I started out I didn't know what to expect. I didn't know if it would be too difficult for me . But once I took the first lesson it was so easy and fun . This She codes workshop puts everything in perspective . And made it easy and fun!

I had a blast the past few weeks as a student of SheCodes. I came from knowing nothing about code to being able to read three coding languages, and even other languages I didn't learn about in this course like Python seem more approachable now. Great introduction to React!
I learned a lot in the Add-On. I thought it would be mostly review and extra practice but it actually adds more to your tool-belt for a more polished website. Challenging but worth it!

It was hard at first to take in so much information at once, I even had to watch more than a few videos multiple times because I didn't understand it the first time around. I feel so proud of myself now that I finished the first course. I'm excited to keep learning more in-depth material!
I am 3 weeks into SheCodes and so far so good. I enjoy that it's self paced, but it has recommended deadlines to keep you on schedule!
This additional project was so much fun to work on and definitely helped me nail down those basic techniques we learned in the original course.

I enjoyed this sheCodes course so much. I learned so much, and I'm thrilled to continue. Matt's teaching style is very patient and thorough. He breaks down every concept and walks you through how to execute your ideas. Matt is funny & down-to-earth, he makes you feel you can do this. He also provides a flexible framework for you to modify and create on your own. I also appreciated how he related very complex topics and tasks in a way that I could understand. The TAs are so helpful and prompt with their responses. Also, the Slack community is super-supportive. I would recommend this course to anyone, whether they want to be a software developer or not - it's a great way to test your limits and learning the skill of coding.

Clear and to the point most of the time. Introduces you to the groundwork you can build further skill on. The lessons are broken down into bite-sized pieces that are easy to absorb, regardless of the amount of time you have.
I am truly learning things that I need to learn from SheCodes.io. I love the fact that Matt is giving us lots of coding projects to practice and introducing new ideas on how to improve our techniques on coding. I admit it's hard but is rewarding when you see the result of your projects and how far you gone from nothing to now able to do it.
Before taking this course I was intimidated by coding and believed it was too difficult for me and not something I could easily learn. However, after taking SheCodes Basic I realized that coding is not as scary as I thought and I am capable of learning this new skill. After watching Matthieu's easy-to-digest videos, practicing on my own time, and completing assignments I feel confident about my ability to continue to learn how to code.
Learning advanced HTML, CSS, and JavaScript makes me feel more prepared for my future career. I'm excited to apply these skills towards my future projects and more importantly, understand how my work as a UX/UI designer effects developers.
