I love coding thanks to Matt!!!
I have learned so much with SheCodes. Starting out, I had no idea what to expect but as I dove in deeper engaging in the challenges and lessons, I was hooked on learning how everything worked. From how web pages are built to the interactions when the pages are actually being used. Matt does an incredible great job at teaching the course and I highly recommend to anyone interested in diving in the coding world.

With the best support team and instructor by my side was I able to learn and create my own HTML. I was stuck a couple times but was to afraid to approach anyone. When I finally did I was able to step out of my comfort zone and my problems were solved. I learned so much about coding and web development as just a starter.
I love that SheCodes had add-ons to their workshops, it's exciting to have another project to look forward to learning from and creating. I have failed with existing boot camps, courses, etc. but through SheCodes, I am completing one challenge after the next and actually finishing workshops.
Another good project to add to portfolio. Still have a long way to learning better React skills but glad to experience another application to build with it.

The Responsive Add-On course made for another great project to highlight on my portfolio. I'm getting more and more comfortable with ensuring my apps/sites are not only aesthetically pleasing but user friendly across a variety of devices & platforms.
I really enjoyed learning about coding and the creative process behind website designs. The videos were perfectly bite-sized, and the homework helped solidify concepts.

I enjoyed the class, overall. It wasn't difficult to keep up with thanks to Matt's great teaching style. Everything was explained very well. I love the Slack feature and how quickly the SheCodes team replies to questions. I wish I got a certification after the course though. I thought it was a certification at the end, but I think it's a certificate of completion. Either way, a lot of great info that opened the door for me to possibly take the tech route. Thank you!

Great workshop; I really appreciated how Matt broke down all the concepts into more digestible "bits". I also liked the structure of the challenges and the way he provided several alternatives for various desired design "outcomes". I could definitely see myself adopting his disciplined and logical workflow as a work best-practice in the future. I really enjoyed working on this workshop it allowed me to apply my previous knowledge of HTML and CSS without the need of too many bootstrap shortcuts.
I loved this workshop because I got to expand my HTML, CSS, and Javascript knowledge in order to build the world clock application.
This was a great introduction to coding. I loved how everything was explained so clearly. It was great to go back and fix the challenges after submitting to understand how you could make the code better.

My favorite part about joining SheCodes was to find out I did not need experience in coding to join SheCodes. As I took the basic steps of coding, it was exciting to see myself create something I never thought I could do. Definitely recommend joining SheCodes!

The Responsive workshop was a highly productive experience for me. I learned a lot and eagerly applied my newfound knowledge. Now, I can't wait to dive into the React workshop. Although it's challenging to grasp these unfamiliar concepts, the sense of satisfaction I get when seeing my own code in action makes it all worth it!

I took the shecodes basic and I liked it so I decided to do the plus, and I loved it, I work full time so it's perfect, I was able to do the course in my own time, when I finished my weather app and it was working I couldn't believe it. I’m so excited for the next step!

I am a 3rd grade teacher and took this class to not only learn coding basics I could teach to my students, but prepare for the possibility of a new career after teaching. The format of this class was easy to follow, and the feedback was quick when I needed it. I will be taking the longer courses the next time I have a school break! I highly recommend this course to anyone who is interested in learning how to code.

I love SheCodes. I started out as trying to teach myself and I was at a point where I wanted to test my skills and learn more to round out my learning. SheCodes has been a great fit, and is the best out of all of the bootcamps and other programs that I have researched and looked into. The flexibility of the program and the community is just awesome. Matt is a great teacher and I'm so glad I was able to take this workshop. Now on to the React workshop! Do yourself a favor and take this course.

Wow, this React course was the most challenging one yet! Using React felt like a more advanced way to write code. Building and running my weather app with React was a fantastic opportunity to practice. Matt did an outstanding job of explaining complicated concepts. I did a lot of outside research and worked with other engineers to make my react projects, so I could write better code and get a better result than the course project but I did enjoy making this applications!
A lot more challenging but got amazing result . It's also very satisfying to know at the end every thing i learned is advancing my capability of coding and makes me more confident to go out in the world and do similar coding on my own.
Every learning video is concise and easy to follow, making it that much easier to understand the material and complete the challenges. Thank you, Matt for being such a great teacher.
I loved this program! I was very intimated to begin coding with no experience, but Matt explained everything perfectly! I really enjoyed the way the program was set up and I had the opportunity to see that I was capable of learning a new skill in coding. I highly recommend this course as it serves as a valuable supplement to your coding knowledge. I learned a lot about making my code responsive across various devices, not just computers. I was most excited to learn React and I definitely went a little rogue, but it was a lot of fun.
The basics workshop was a great way to dip your toes into coding. I had a lot of fun learning something new and building a landing website. I would definitely recommend!
Do it alone, do it broke, do it tired, do it scared, just do it!
Even as the material became more difficult, I was still proud of myself for how far I have come. I am a few months in now and I feel very confident with what we have learned so far. The material is something that is forever studied and learned, but all of this used to look like a foreign spoken language to me; now these are computer languages I am easily able to recognize. The flow of the work makes it easy to follow along. I am very grateful for the ease and freedom SheCodes provides while learning a new skill.
This workshop was very challenging! I really didnt care for the use of different coding sites for the homeworks. It was definitely a huge difference from she codes-basics and i did learn alot

SheCodes has awaken a new interest in me that I never knew existed !
I saved this course to come back to after completing React. I wanted to give myself the opportunity to remember what I previously learned in the original Responsive course. I enjoyed working through the courses in this order because it allowed me to test myself on what I already knew. I've created the landing page for a site and look forward to coming back and adding on to it in the future with multiple pages linked.
I loved this program! It really made learning fun and I am so excited to see where my new knowledge takes me! The lessons were very easy to understand and everyday after work, I looked forward to opening up my program and learning something new!

SheCodes is AWESOME!
I have always had an interest in coding. However, I never felt confident enough to try because I didn't know where to start in the subject that was always shown as a Boys Only Club. SheCodes gave me my start! Not only that, SheCodes gave me confidence that I could do this even if I was a woman with no experience. Though there were difficult moments that made me question why I began in the first place, I feel that much more accomplished and proud knowing I succeeded. I can't wait to continue my coding journey with SheCodes at my side! :)
As with the Basic and Basic Add-On courses, It was super fun and I learned a lot, Matt's videos were very well done and easy to understand, while still leaving enough of a challenge for you to problem solve and learn!! I also had a blast working on the final project!! I super excited to start my next course after the summer!!!

Loved this workshop I definitely enjoy coding and I am glad that I signed up. I know know way more than what I started with and can add these skills to my resume which I am super excited about! I would recommend this to someone who wants to try out coding, it doesn't take long and you are guided the entire way through.

This course was definetly not easy. But I look forwrd to continuing my learning through platforms like codeacademy and freecodecamp. I look forward to finding employment soon! AFter taking a few of these sehcodes bootcamp courses I happy and yet sad to say this is my last semester. This course will be the last course I take in SheCodes because soon I will find employment. But if it wasn't for shecodes literally teaching me everything I know it wouldn't be possible. I am so thankful and grateful that shecodes exists. As well as even more thannkful the courses were affordable enough to enroll into the bootcamps.

SheCodes has been the opening door for a better future! at first i thought coding and programming was only for graduated engineers, and a world just a few could be part of. SheCodes show up into my life as an opportunity to learn and expand my possibilities for a new professional career, from absolutely beginner level. the way SheCodes courses are design are definitely setting us up for success. the challenges keep me practice up, and i get really excited every time i can code something new! i cannot wait to keep learning and navigate this amazing journey of coding!
This course was challenging and a bit frustrating at times, but I can say I have been learning so much! It is amazing to me to see the final project after all the lessons and challenges. The lessons are broken down so well. I cannot wait to move onto the next part, SheCodes Plus Add On :)

This project was really fun and simple in terms of design. It was heavy in JS which is exactly what I was hoping for. I loved being able to think through each issue I had and figure it out. Loved the project overall.

This was a great course! I loved being able to build on the tools and techniques from the previous course while increasing the functionality of a website.
I found SheCodes while I was researching code bootcamps and I love that it's a femme-centered community! The format of SheCodes Basics is simple but thorough, and the individual challenges along the way helped reinforce the new information in smaller chunks so that it never got overwhelming. I signed up for SheCodes Max - I can't wait to move on to the next workshop!
