SheCodes has changed my life! For a really long time I did not know what I wanted to do professionally. I am currently in college, doing a major that I know is not what I want to do long term. Having taken the SheCodes courses, it has helped me identify and put my best foot forward towards my career. The courses were very straight-forward and easy to follow step-by-step and I did not realize how easy I could learn to code. I always believed that coding took a brain capacity that I did not have, but I was, thankfully, proven wrong!!
It's definitely a challenging and growing process. It's an amazing experience and your taste of learning only grows the more you start to understand. I am very appreciative of the ongoing support within this journey.
With SheCodes I feel like I have a better understanding of Web Devleopment as a beginner. After completing this workshop, I crave more knowledge in order to start a new carrer in SWD.

Currently, I am a Software Tester seeking to expand my knowledge and background in Web Development. SheCodes Basics was super helpful and straightforward. I'm walking away with a better grasp of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript and how they all interact to create the web pages we see today.
This basic intro to coding was so worth the time and money. I had an absolute blast while doing this three-week course, and I learned a lot. I hope to take what I have learned and create some weird and wacky websites you can interact with online. Catch ya later!

I absolutely loved this. I learned so much from doing it myself. The instructions were clear and concise that even as someone that gets lost with all the tech jargon, I managed to follow along easily. Honestly, best course I've taken so far!
The SheCodes Plus Add-On helped me to not only hone in on the skills learned in SheCodes Plus but it also taught so many more skills! The skills I learned in the Add-On helped me to become a far better coder than I thought I could be in such a short period of time!

I loved this! Thanks for everything, this was a great lil intro to get into coding. I WISH I HAD TIME TO SIGN UP FOR THE BIG WORKSHOP. I really wish I could just roll straight into the MAX workshop. But now I've started school and this is going to be a huge uphill battle for me to go from band director and musician to IT. Yikes! I will keep this in mind for later. It is soooo tempting, to keep the party going, but I will end up failing both sides. But again, I enjoyed this so much the FOMO IS REAL!!! I do recommend the workshops, even just the 3 week one to learn a few basics to get you going.
I enjoyed how well-balanced the course is when it comes to learning the skill of coding while putting in the work. You would expect that just because you're learning on your own that the course would be easy, but I was wrong. Matt truly pushes you out of your comfort zone to apply the skills you acquire within each lesson. I would recommend this course 100%
I took this class hoping to learn more about coding so that I could fix the websites I'm responsible for editing with a better understanding of what I am doing and what the different elements mean.

It was very helpful to build the project alongside the videos. Then it was fun to go back at the end and make any tweaks to the project to really make it your own. I learned so much from working on this project!
The SheCodes Basic workshop was a good refresher for HTML, CSS and JavaScript. I enjoyed the lesson format and the challenges for each lesson.

I've been so inspired to keep learning to code by means of SheCodes. During these workshops, my confidence has grown so much. I never would have imagined that I would be able to learn introduction to coding as quickly as I did, but it is all because to Matt's teachings. He is meticulous, and there are many of tools at your disposal to help you succeed. There are numerous skills I have learnt throughout my university studies, but this course is unquestionably the reason I will feel confident in advancing in my job. I am already prepared to participate in the upcoming workshops.
Really glad this course taught me how to make embed links, headers, and footers to look great on mobile devices in a thorough manner. Had fun creating a page on my favorite artist!

It was so much fun to put together our portfolio! I enjoyed learning about the different layers of putting together a website. It was great to work along Matt and see the inner thinkings of creating a website.
As someone without any tech background or coding experience, I found that the SheCodes Basics course gave me all of the necessary information to understand the fundamentals of web development. It was a fun, and sometimes challenging course that gives students the basic elements of front end development. Matt is a great teacher and he explains everything with detail that is easy to understand. I can't wait to continue learning with the rest of the SheCodes bootcamps!

Thankful to the SheCodes team and Matthieu Delac for everything I know today. I have come a long way. I knew absolutely nothing about coding / programming, and thanks to this team and this company, I learned how to create basic web designs, responsive and react websites. I now know how to create HTML, CSS and JS files. It was not easy, many times I got stuck on a lesson, especially javascript, but I got through them! I am proud of myself for taking this leap of faith on not just SheCodes, but myself as well.
I really enjoyed taking this workshop! All of the lessons were packed with meaningful information without being overwhelming. The challenges, the homework assignments, and the final project were so much fun! I was completely engaged from beginning to end. I can't wait to continue my SheCodes journey and see how my front-end development skills improve.

The course covered a wide array of topics, from the basics to more advanced concepts. Although the course presented a lot of information in a short time, this immersion encouraged hands-on practice, reinforcing my understanding. The SheCodes Basic course is amazing! The content was challenging at times but the instructional videos made it easy to understand and were great to have to refer back to when completing homework assignments. If you're looking to enhance your coding skills, I highly recommend this course.
