I really loved and immersed myself a lot more in the course. It was more challenging than SheCodes Basics but also a lot more fun!! Matt really guides you through the making of the entire project but you're also given enough freedom to make it your own and play around with the code, if you choose to. Learning how to implement API was one of the most challenging but rewarding parts of this course. Learning about GitHub was also very useful. I recommend this course to anyone who wants to get started on programming.

I loved Shecodes. It was a great experience. It helped me understand some fundamentals of coding and I feel confident in my journey especially with a certificate.

Hello!! I found SheCodes to be better than any other coding website I've tried or coding class I took in college. After I finished my project, I showed my mother and stepfather, and they were both amazed at what I did; it made me feel proud of myself for showing them something I'm starting to enjoy!

SheCodes is an excellent online platform for acquiring coding skills. I successfully completed the SheCodes Basic program in less than two weeks. The course material is presented in easily digestible segments, making it conducive to learning and retention. I found myself able to complete the initial project with ease. What I particularly appreciate is the fact that I'll have access to the workshop content indefinitely for future reference.

It is quite a fun workshop right after the Plus workshop! It is great review of what I've learned so far to a much simpler project that can be familiarized with everyday use and curiosity. 😄
SheCodes Basic is a great introduction into coding! You learn a lot of valuable information in a short amount of time and feel as if you have started to unlock the secrets behind coding.
SheCodes was the most affordable and helpful coding site there is. Extremely glad I found SheCodes and I have learned so much just with the SheCodes Basics course alone! Can't wait to begin the next courses.
Just completed the add-on project which was a great lesson in getting more creative! I'm sure all the material can come off as overwhelming, but it is truly a process of memorization through repetition and you will feel great when the pieces all start to click together. I had already started a different SheCodes workshop but noticed that there was a new (to me) add-on. I quickly went back, took this over the weekend, and am so glad I did. It was exactly what a needed to refresh and reinforce my knowledge.
Taking this online coding class was a game-changer for me. The course content was well-structured, and the final project was a highlight, showcasing what I'd learned. I went from feeling overwhelmed by coding to confidently building my own projects. This class has opened up exciting opportunities, and I can't recommend it enough to anyone looking to learn coding online.

This project was fun to complete. It seemed intimidating at first but the easy to follow videos and resources provided were very helpful in completing the project. My confidence with coding has grown after completing this workshop, and I am proud of the project that I was able to complete.

After seeing SheCodes come up in my feed several times, I figured it was time to give coding a shot. I knew that my current career didn't make me happy so I wanted to try something new, and SheCodes made it so easy to learn coding. It builds on the knowledge you have from each lesson and then makes it easy to put it all together. I loved the basics class and I can't wait to learn more!
I am so happy I finished this project. At times it was extremely hard, confusing, and frustrating but the community on slack was so helpful! I feel that some of the concepts were too advanced for those coming out of SheCodes Basics, even with Matt's explanation, and some of the information is outdated. I would love to see the video tutorials updated to where Matt uses the SheCodes API! Other than those tiny qualms, this workshop was great!
I was really looking forward to learning about React. The amount of resources that SheCodes provides is amazing and incredibly helpful. My opinion hasn't changed about the program, I would highly recommend it!

Matt's clear and concise explanations and instructions were instrumental in my learning journey, preventing me from becoming discouraged. While the intricacies of a responsive project made this course somewhat challenging and at times overwhelming, Matt's guidance ultimately helped me successfully complete the final project. I went from knowing nothing to building a whole React App. It feels amazing, and I know this has helped prepare me for all the cool things I'm going to create in the future. Matt broke the material down into sections making it easier to understand the process in order to create my project but also able to know how to apply those skills to other projects as well. It is very rewarding.
Loved every minute of these classes. Everyone was so helpful. Now on to the next journey, hopefully a job.
