I was a bit surprised at how much I enjoyed the SheCodes Basic course. I was expecting coding to be super boring, but didn't realize how creative it can be. Once you get started, the possibilities are endless! I just graduated from a graphic design program, and wanted to take this course to make myself more "hireable" to prospective employers and to stand out from my peers in the increasingly competitive job market. When searching for design jobs, most mention candidates with HTML and CSS experience is a huge plus, though not required. I have designed in Figma for UI/UX projects, but I know they will have to be passed off to a developer. This course has helped me improve my skillset and will make it easier when communicating with developers in the future.

Great project to learn about different libraries that we can find online. This was fun 💓

Working with React is more efficient and more well-organized than working with Java. I will recommend this course for those who wish to learn front-end development!

Matt's teaching style is excellent. I learn a lot from how he explains the content.

After I pretty it up, this project will definitely be in my Portfolio.

The Plus workshop was a challenge compared to the Basic program. However, once I finished I was really happy because of how my final project resulted. The challenge that comes with the Plus workshop is definitely worth it.

Your potential is greater than what you thought. Sometimes you just need to push yourself. It's not easy in the beginning but soon things would be so much easier.

This was a super fun exercise

After starting with SheCodes, I have a newfound confidence in myself. I had many years is struggle not being able to get a further education beyond High School. SheCodes has made it possible for me to educate myself in something that is in high demand and that I enjoy. It has been so much fun and life changing so far. I cannot wait to continue on my SheCodes journey.

React was difficult to understand, but the bigger concepts did make sense by the end of the course. I am happy with the final project and would like to learn more about React.

She Codes is a great opportunity for every woman that wants to understand more about coding and/or the world around it, whether she comes with existing knowledge or starts from scratch.it is very easy to understand and homework after certain lessons really build up your confidence to next level. I am excited to build a final project whole all by myself.

great intro to coding

SheCodes Basics has opened my mind to a world I was very excited but nervous to dive into. The classes are very well structured and the challenges are so intuitive that makes the work so easy to follow. I'm definitely hooked.

It was a great learning experience. I work in marketing and thought that this basics course was very applicable. While I've had some exposure to html/css/js in my work, I've never coded it myself, and I think this course really helped me understand what goes into the backend of any browser page working. As someone who never imagined I'd ever learn to code, I am really happy and proud of what I was able to accomplish in such a short time.

I think this was a very good experience. Videos were self explanatory and very easy to follow the instructor does a wonderful job with explaining the topics.

I've always felt that coding is meant for the smart ones or at least those with strong computer background and that kept me far away from it. But upon joining Delac Foundation, Matt being the great teacher he is made me realize even I can code. I'm still on the basics but I can already see how much value this skill will aid in my career.

I completed SheCodes Basics and loved it! The Add-On was an excellent supplement to reinforce and enhance foundational concepts.

The clock challenges you in the way a developer would be challenged on the day-to-day. This Add-on is a perfect addition to Plus.

I learned a few things about coding when I was in grade school, and honestly forgot about how much I loved it! SheCodes has brought that back to me and I cannot wait to see what more I can learn and all that I can do!

I was able to complete this course in my free time. It is easy to understand and full or resources.

This project made a daunting task of creating a portfolio site easy. So thankful for this and will definitely utilize and come back to these lessons as I continue to grow in my coding skills.

SheCodes responsive has challenged me the most thus far throughout my journey. I am thrilled to have completed this workshop.

I like the Ad-On Workshops because they truly feel step-by-step. This one had a lot of JavaScript, but it felt a little easier than the Shecodes Plus regular course. Now don't get me wrong JavaScript still confuses me but I feel like I'm slowly getting the hang of it, and once I repeat the process of couple of times I'm sure it will get easier. I'm happy to be learning something new, and hopefully, this will help me in my future career in coding.

This was a very fun and exciting project to work on during the weekend!

I have always immersed myself in computers since a young age. However,this was challenging; challenging in a good way!!! I can't believe what I have learned in such a short amount of time!! 10/10 Recommend.

Enjoyed learning React

I had a fun time learning! It is a great starting point for those who need some guidance.

Another enjoyable project topic and even more enjoyable lessons! Creating a responsive webpage without using a CSS framework was challenging, but the experience was definitely worth it!

This SheCodes Plus Workshop by Matt Delac has been great experience to learn coding: well structured and explained. I would highly recommend this course!

If you want to make Front-End developing a career, She-codes is the route I recommend. Not only are there multiple chances to get a discount price from the many sales. There's so many challenges that give you a chance for a free upgrade. If you have a busy life no worries, it's totally a "learn at your own pace program." If you get stuck, take a deep breathe and ask the thousands of peers and alumni on Slack who are more then willing to help you. Thank you Matt and SheCodes for this amazing opportunity.

When I first started this, it was in the hopes that it would be something I liked, it turns out, it's becoming something I love! Wow! I'm so amazed by how far my coding has come since I began the SheCodes program. The flexibility of this course has allowed me, as a working mom, to stay focused despite life's chaos.

JavaScript tutorials could be more in depth and touch upon more. I did enjoy the explanations for HTML/CSS, although it was all just review to me. But, if you want to get into coding basic pages, take the basic course as the explanations are easy to digest. You should follow along with the coding and experiment yourself.

I have truly enjoyed learning the basics of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and being able to create something that looks good and works in just a few weeks! I can't wait to continue learning.

SheCodes is a great resource for those looking to learn how to code. The lessons and challenges made the concepts easy to understand.

This workshop has opened up possibilities for my future and given me the ability to learn something I could only dream of learning before, I cannot wait to continue learning on this platform.😁

The responsive workshop really made everything click for me. It was exciting to create a responsive portfolio and even more exciting to feel confident in my skills while doing it!

This was my favorite workshop so far! I loved creating my portfolio and finally having one place to showcase all of my work! Definitely would recommend it!

Absolutely great, I'm learning a lot.

It was an intensive 3 weeks, but I feel much more confident about my coding skills and learning how it works. It provided me a sense of accountability, but also, I was having fun!

I started this course as a beginner, I had seen code before and even attempted to learn on my own but it was so difficult to fully understand the topics. Well, after sitting in on the free coding class I knew this format and teaching style was better suited to how I learn best. Through this course I was able to fully discover my love of coding! I purchased shecodes Max, so I can't wait to keep learning more and eventually gain the skills needed to become a front end web developer!

The Add-On was a nice build off from the Basics course.

I really enjoyed the workshops and gave me more motivation to learn code!

I loved this add-on! Matt is an awesome teacher. I especially loved learning about CSS transform and how to include a dark theme on a page. Please continue to do more add-ons!

I really enjoyed doing the SheCodes Basics workshop. It helped me realize that I really like coding and that I do have a future in it. It's true that sometimes it's a bit frustrating but at the end of the day you have fun in the process and you are happy with your result. Right now I'm applying to universities and this course made me realize that I don't only want to study design but I want to combine it with some software programming like computer science, animation and videogame engineering and digital design. My final project was a web page where I wrote my college admissions essay and that way I could show them my skills. :))))

I am glad that I have made it this far to build a react dictionary app. I have learned much more and am becoming more comfortable using React. It's a respected library that does have its pros and cons. But I am happy that I am learning it. Thank you SheCodes.

I started SheCodes not knowing anything about coding and finished my program knowing how to create a landing page, which for me it's great since I didn't think coding was for me, if you are still trying to figure out whether it's your thing you are in good hands.

I really enjoyed the world clock project and learning some new elements. The pace of the lessons was perfect and, per usual, it was easy to follow along.

I've been trying to grasp coding for a couple of months but kept getting stuck with no idea how to find answers to my questions. I love this format where not only are we taught how to look up answers for ourselves, but if we can't figure it out there's a chat with classmates as well as an entire walkthrough of the problem. It's also super fun!
