After being let go from my job in the middle of a pandemic, I decided to explore web developmentβsomething I've been interested in ever since middle school when I would design Xanga profiles for myself and friends. Loving SheCodes so far, and I can't wait to learn more!
After getting laid off, I wanted to challenge myself. I ran across a Facebook ad about SheCodes. After attending the webinar, I signed up for the 3-week workshop. The overall experience has been amazing. Thank you Matt Delac and the other students for this learning opportunity. This is only the beginning.
I enjoyed my entire experience with SheCodes! I have wanted to learn how to code for as long as I can remember but it was overwhelming for a novice like myself. Matt managed to make everything easy to understand and gave it to me in a platform that WORKED with my lifestyle for way less π΅ than a boot camp. I will π― be continuing my training with SheCodes!
I enjoyed this class. I've taken one other beginner coding class many years ago, but this one was much easier to follow. I recently finished a UX design bootcamp but I wanted to be able to better communicate designs with developers and I feel like this gave me the tools I needed. Thank you!
Greetings! My name is Alessandra and I am a brazilian translator who is very involved with languages. This time, I decided to learn a different type of language and I am simply thankful for the existence of SheCodes coding workshops and for the amazing quality of material and support. In only 3 weeks I could learn and create things I never thought I would. It is a very rewarding experience both personal and professional. I am glad I have acquired new useful skills and that now I have the chance to keep on learning and improving myself professionally. So, I would like to thank Matt Delac and everyone involved, instructors and colleagues.
This was my first online course i've ever taken and i am so happy i did! This is a great intro to the basics of HTML, CSS and Javascript, so it's perfect for beginners. I really enjoyed the challenges after each lesson, i think the platform is super easy to use and the forums on Slack come in handy when you're stuck and need help! Matt is a great teacher, i really like how he explains everything in detail, whilst keeping it fun and interesting!
I started SheCodes with no prior coding knowledge. I had tried online learning for other subjects in the past and didn't have much success; I thought I was just someone who could only learn in person. I decided to try the online course anyway and I am SO GLAD I did. The course is well laid out. The videos are well done and I loved doing the challenges and homework to practice and reinforce the lessons. The best part of this course was that it was actually fun and gave me the confidence to continue on my coding journey. I'm excited to see where these skills take me and I would definitely recommend SheCodes to anyone who wants to get started.

The introductory 3-week course was exactly what I needed to immerse myself in world that I wasn't completely sure I was ready for. The lessons are truly perfect for a beginner (like myself) and I feel completely energized and empowered to continue my education. I can't recommend this course enough!!!

It is exactly the user interface I have been looking for and I like the guided go at your own pace modules that make learning easy and fun. I have already signed up for Plus and cant wait to start building/designing more complex coding <3!
The instruction Matt gives for each lesson made this experience top notch! I was able to follow each lesson easily with Matt's clear descriptions. If you're thinking about dipping your toes into coding, this is the best place to start!

This was a great introduction to a topic that is not as difficult as it seems. It was fun to learn HTML, CSS and JS. In attempting to switch careers, this was a great place to start and leading me to consider to taking further courses to continue my learning with SheCodes. If you don't want to pay thousands of dollars or can't afford it, this is a great place to start and it will be worth your while. You have the help you need from staff and other students. You are encouraged to learn things on your own by simply googling, making that acknowledgement valid of being able to be a continuous learner, but also asking for help when needed.
SheCodes is truly a gem when it comes to finding realistic-high quality courses. Not only did I find the classes full of on-demand knowledge, the clarity and relevance of it all makes me honestly now a true contender in the world of coding. Kudos to such a great experience... I am empowered!

I had a great experience with my SheCodes workshop. I was able to refresh previous skills while learning easier and faster ways to accomplish what I knew. I was also able to learn Javascript with ease without any previous knowledge.

Matt was a wonderful instructor. I enjoyed the fact that sometimes he would leave certain things out for you to research on your own. To me, this seems like real life problem solving, as I have heard that coders often have to research information for their projects. I truly had fun completing the projects and it has made me feel more confident in my journey of coding!
I have been trying to learn how to code for about a year now, but due to my crazy job schedule I haven't been able to find a course that fits my needs. SheCodes was the best experience I could have ever hoped for. Matt and his team were ALWAYS available to help, even with the time difference. The videos were clear and concise and I never felt confused by what he was teaching us. I will recommend this course to anyone who will listen and I am so incredibly grateful for this opportunity.
I truly enjoyed SheCodes! The lessons were super simple & the information easy to digest. I liked the time stamps provided to give an ideal time frame for completion. The staff at SheCodes is fantastic and the community is welcoming! Overall, this was a great course and worth the time. I am actually very happy that I enrolled. I am now seriously considering enrolling into SheCodes Plus! I have taken other online introductory courses on coding, but this one by far has been the best.
This has been such a fun and rewarding process! I work primarily with video design and have encountered multiple projects when I had to do some light coding but was absolutely clueless about it, so it was great to get comfortable with the foundations of HTML, JavaScript and CSS. And as a bonus I got so inspired with my final project concept, that I decided to follow through with it and create a website page where I can sell my art!
This was the perfect intro to coding that both gave me a solid foundation and understanding of the material and also made me excited to continue learning more!
I thoroughly and completely enjoyed this class! I learned A LOT (and also learned how to use my Mac better!). Though this was like learning a foreign language in three weeks with a very steep learning curve, I now feel emboldened to look at code on various websites and realize that I understand at least part of the code it took to write it!
I've had some coding background that I rarely used in my professional life. But I've been in search of a short and structured coding workshop and this was perfect to expand my skillsets quickly. Instructors respond immediately to questions, and 'challenges' and homeworks were straight to the point and practical. Definitely considering taking their Pro course. Highly recommended!
SheCodes is a wonderful program. The tutorials are great and the homework is challenging but very doable. The final project is a fantastic way to culminate what you've learned and put it to use in a real world application. SheCodes has given me confidence not only in my skills but in my ability to find the answers I'm looking for when I'm stuck. I can't wait to keep coding and I'm so eager to learn more.
