I learned so much taking this workshop! Not only did they walk you through the lessons and homework but sometimes they challenged you to figure some small details on your own, I think this helps you develop your skills. I definitely recommend this course.
This SheCodes workshop was exactly the introduction to coding that I was looking for. While I was skeptical before signing up, I can honestly say that I'm ecstatic that I did. The video lessons are very well explained, easy to follow, and the challenges provide hands on experience. This has been one of the best investments that I have made and I would recommend this course to anyone who has the slightest curiosity.
I've enjoyed this course quite a bit! I'll definitely be continuing to the Plus course to expand my knowledge!

A challenging course that would be worth taking for any woman actively seeking a career in development. Definitely more of a challenge and time commitment than the SheCodes workshop; the road was long but I am glad I was able to deliver a project I was happy with.

What an informative course! For someone with minimal coding knowledge, to understand the concepts behind Front End Web Methodologies and API opens a whole new set of doors. I plan on using this base to continue on my coding learning path.
SheCodes was the perfect program to begin learning how to code. The lessons were easy to follow along with and the challenges were reasonable. Coding doesn't seem so scary anymore and I feel confident enough to continue learning more.

This is a great course for an introduction to web development and coding. The lessons are clear and easy to follow and I loved that I was able to complete the course on my own time while still working a full-time job. I would highly recommend to anyone curious about learning to code.

She Codes had opened up a world of opportunities for me, that I never thought possible. Learning process went smoothly. I enjoyed working on the assignment in each chapter, this helps me improve the knowledge I have learned from each class immediately. I am glad that I could figure out how to solve the problem for my Final Project of this workshop! It was a fun experience!

The SheCodes workshop was perfect for a beginner like me! I had zero previous knowledge of coding or HTML and found the lessons very engaging and easy to follow. The format of the classes was very flexible to fit with my schedule and made the information very digestible.
I enjoyed my three weeks. I had no knowledge of coding prior and feel like i have a good base now to continue learning. I enjoyed that I could take the classes at my own pace during each week.
What a fascinating, challenging, and rewarding journey this has been so far! Learning how to build a weather app from scratch and seeing every element come together pixel by pixel has been absolutely exciting. This course has reaffirmed my decision to pursue a new career in software development. I can't wait to start the React course!

SheCodes will teach you how to build an app, in 8 weeks, which is amazing but requires to commit to it!! It is hard and frustrating at times but once you get it right, it feels great! I probably have to re-watch a bunch of the videos, just to make sure I get it. I'm very happy with this program and hope I can pursue in that field.

I love SheCodes! I decided to take the SheCodes workshops during Quarantine, and it has been a great way to grow my knowledge of coding and have something productive to do with all of my extra free time indoors. I would HIGHLY recommend these workshops to anyone who has wanted to learn more about coding, the videos are easy to follow, and the homework and projects are easy to complete. No deadline will make you feel overwhelmed, and the Slack communities they have created are all welcoming. All of the women in the slack communities want you to succeed. It's a great place to see women empowering other women! 10/10, 10000000 βοΈ, screaming from every mountain top.
I tested out another coding bootcamp with a cost of 10x as much as this one and it did not compare to the format and explanation on SheCodes.
I would definitely recommend SheCodes to anyone looking to give coding a try! I have been interested in learning to code for quite some time and felt super intimidated. This is not the first course that I have purchased but it is the first one that has resonated with me. SheCodes not only gave me a sense of direction but also a level of involvement that I had not experienced through an online course.

I am right-brain oriented--and with an arts and humanities background--the idea of me even considering a coding class was insane and nerve wracking. While using COVID as an excuse to try something new but practical, I decided to take the coding workshop and I am so glad I did. Matt's instruction and explanations are clear and concise, the lesson challenges aren't daunting but helpful, and finishing the homework and final project was incredibly rewarding. I look forward to taking Plus and Plus React in the future!

This is great! I normally never like sitting in front of a computer this long and that was my biggest challenge. It was very detailed and was easy enough to go back and review the previous lessons.

SheCodes Workshop was a great intro to coding. As a full time mom to a toddler, and working a full time+ job, I don't have a ton of free time. The SheCodes time frame allowed me to work a little bit each day to complete the challenges and homework, which I really appreciated! I loved the structure of the short videos, which allowed me to absorb the content and build on what I learned in the previous videos. The slack channel was a big help as well when I would get stuck on something. In the end, I am proud of my work and what i've learned in the intro class, and look forward to continuing on with my coding journey! Thanks SheCodes :)

SheCodes is one of the best experiences that I have had! This is my second SheCodes course and I have loved every second of it. I highly recommend it to anyone and everyone who is interested in coding!
Within the first day of SheCodes, I could see how powerful coding can be and I was inspired to utilize code for my passions. The lessons were easy to follow and I rarely sought out help since they were thorough. There is feedback on homework submissions and each lesson has challenges and solutions. SheCodes Workshop was a great overview of coding and I am looking forward to developing my skills further.
I am EXTREMELY happy and proud that I completed SheCodes Plus. Once I took the SheCodes intro course I knew I needed to continue to SheCodes PLus. With my job, my school work, and Shecodes lessons I had a lot on my plate. But with the extra help from the SheCodes tutors and Matts excellently videos it made it exciting and helpful to learn. This was challenging for me because I was still new to the coding world. Now, I feel much more confident to continue and my education in coding. My goal would be to make this into a future career. The next step for me is Shecodes React and I can not wait!

Although I had previously taken a web design course, that was over 10 years ago and I only learned HTML. It was really fun learning CSS, but my favorite part was adding JavaScript elements to my website! It was easy to follow along with Matt's instructions and I appreciated having the chance to practice my skills throughout the challenges and homework assignments. I'd definitely recommend this workshop for those who want a taste of coding and are interested in web design!

I had previously taken the three week course and was highly satisfied with that one. This one was a bit more challenging but the knowledge I gained whilst working on my project was well worth it.
After completing the "Introduction to Coding" workshop, I was hooked! I couldn't wait to learn more. Highly recommend SheCodes! I've tried several free resources to learn coding and have found the format of these lessons much more manageable than trying organize learning on my own. I've really enjoyed the opportunity to practice each skill as I make my way through each lesson.

It has been really fun seeing how quickly I was able to pick up coding! Within 3 weeks I have learned a whole new language and code no longer seems like gibberish. The course and it's curriculum are set up in such an intuitive way which have surpassed my expectations. The best part about it is that I can learn on the go (and in multiple time zones) since the classes are pre-recorded, but every week's due date keeps me accountable with my progress. Thank you Matt and the SheCodes team π

As someone who had no idea where to even start, attending the free 60 minute intro with Matt helped more than I ever thought possible and made it so much easier to take that first step. I'm so glad I found SheCodes! Out of all the other online courses and videos I've watched on how to code for beginners, SheCodes has definitely helped me the most! I was able to understand how things are implemented, what works and what doesn't. The online videos are so easy to follow along, and I was learning at a nice pace so there was no rush. My only regret is not finding out about it earlier.
