Super fun add on to the SheCodes experience! Very useful information learning how to build a multiple page website that's responsive and SEO friendly.
The add-on to the basics course was super insightful. It was nice to take the things that were learned in the basics course and then use that knowledge to grasp the new concepts taught in the add-on course! Very useful and good to learn even more about what html, css, and javascript can do.
This was a really difficult workshop, but as long as you take your time and really practice you will get it. I certainly struggled with learning React, but I can honestly say I prefer it to regular JS.
The lessons are pretty easy to follow once you get accustom to them. Everything is so much fun to learn.
Great workshop! It was challenging, but you get to transform your design concepts into interactive and user-friendly experiences. You will learn to bring not only your website to life but also learn important responsive fundamentals for smaller devices with Bootstrap and media queries.

Great course on how to make websites responsive.
SheCodes Plus definitely was a challenge in comparison to the previous course. I enjoyed it though! I am learning so much and I know I wouldn't have been disciplined enough to get this far on my own. Thank you, so much Matt and SheCodes crew! For anyone considering Plus, my best advice would be to make sure you set aside at least an hour or two every day to work on your project. I got behind by trying to do the week's worth of work in one night a few times.

It wasn't easy, but a lot of it is putting in the time and effort to learn how to do things after you're told what it is, and once you figure it out, it's very satisfying.

React has been the most challenging yet rewarding workshop yet!
She Codes Add-ons have been an extension and practice to my new learning. I am starting to see some of the building blocks finally taking shape.
SheCodes Basics was so easy to follow along with, especially since I'm new to coding! I'm so happy that I joined and look forward to gaining more knowledge and understanding in the world of coding!
Fun add-on project and it's very useful to learn about dark themes.
The course was easy to follow and thorough. I feel like I received a great base that I can now build on.
React is difficult to learn. I appreciate that this project used multiple components of React to build on learning from the last module.
I really enjoyed coding. I am proud of myself for taking the chance on myself to get it done. I have always been interested in it but was too scared to try. Matt & the team with SheCodes made this a breeze. The lessons are easy to understand and walks you through everything. I would definitely recommend it.

Genuinely such a fun introduction to coding! I've already learned some basics before I joined but they were never as easy to follow along like SheCodes. If you want a thorough intro with easy to follow along videos, try this!
This workshop is easy to understand and with the help of the SheCodes team, you will be able to construct a portfolio to display your projects and feel proud of what you've accomplished.
I've always been curious about coding and SheCodes made it so easy to understand concepts and made it easy to code and follow along. Matt's teaching style is so easy to understand and easy to grasp. SheCodes allowed me the flexibility to complete a challenging course on a timeline that works best for my schedule. My favorite part of this course was structure of the lessons, they worked really well with my learning style which made my experience all the better!
Instructor Matt does a fantastic job of breaking down the concepts. There is a good balance of demonstrating the concepts followed by practical, hands-on application of those concepts.
The way that Matt teaches the SheCodes courses is so easy to follow and understand. The SheCodes Basics Add-On Workshop was definitely worth the value for continued learning on HTML, CSS, & JavaScript.

This course and project helped me look at detail as I was utilizing pure HTML and CSS. It was a great experience in how a website comes to life when utilizing these two components.
It was very easy to follow along and easy to understand. It does a good job of introducing you to coding to see if you'll be interested in continuing to pursue it or not. It was a lot of fun for me to utilize my creativity to create my final project. Really enjoyed it!
I have been raving about this program to anyone that is interested in coding whether it's do learn a new language or brush up on some skills. The whole reason for me taking these workshops is because I'm going to ultimately change my career over to becoming a front end web developer from being a professional makeup artist and beauty educator for 10+ years. I really loved this add on workshop it really is very exciting and interesting to me. I have adhd and for me if I'm really interested in something I will hyperfocus on it until the end of time. The program is really easy to understand and so much fun.

Finally completed SheCodes React! This was challenging but very fun!
Learning to build in React came with a steep learning curve, but I overcame once I got out of my own way and tried a different approach. One thing that I can always appreciate about the way Matt and the team at SheCodes teaches coding it that there is always multiple solutions to the same problem. It helps with learning to problem solve without getting frustrated.
Before SheCodes I never really had something I was genuinely interested in learning about enough to make a career of it. Once I took the beginner's class in August 2020 and knew immediately coding was the perfect way to break into the tech industry.
I've always been the type to give up courses in the middle, but SheCodes workshops have been fun, engaging, and broken up into smaller parts that I find easy to come back to each day.

For those who feel they cannot do it, TRY IT! Matt 's videos, Athena, and the various guides are very helpful as they all contain details about what you are doing and helpful reminders. With constant testing of your page, you can find enjoyment in seeing your work come together.

I've been wanting to learn to code for a while now but haven't known where to start. I found SheCodes and joined during a promotion period. Loved the videos and the projects that were assigned. I felt like the material was explained really well and I appreciated having deadlines to really push me forward.
This workshop helped me learn so many helpful tools for creating responsive websites, which is currently an in-demand skill these days. With so many mobile users, it's so important to ensure websites look good and work well on mobile devices. I learned how to use flexbox and grids to create websites that scale down perfectly for smaller screens. In addition to that, I learned some SEO tips for getting more visibility for a website. Instructions and lessons were clear, thorough and easy to understand. I'm so glad I took part in this workshop!
I highly recommend SheCodes if you're looking to get into Front End Development. I have now finished all the courses and I have learned so much knowledge. I plan to take even more advanced React classes, but I am so thankful for the foundation that SheCodes has created for me. I had to take some time away to work on home things after completing the shecodes basic course, but I was happy to see when I was finally able to start the add on section I was still able to follow along and understand the concepts so well and that is all thanks to Matt's teaching!
This course was a great next step in learning to code. It was a more challenging course which I enjoyed. Learning how to host you code on GitHub and Netlify also helped with tracking changes and fixing mistakes in my code. Looking forward to the next session!
