SheCodes has been amazing and a great place for beginners like me who knew nothing about coding! I have learned so much and the lessons were very well structured, easy to understand, challenging and fun~
WOW! I have no coding experience. I am just an accountant looking for something new to learn. This workshop was easy to follow. I really enjoy the exercises and the tips & tricks given during the learning videos!

I absolutely loved this course. I was able to refresh my HTML knowledge and learn more about CSS and JavaScript. Overall, I would highly recommend it. It was the first course that didn't make me feel overwhelmed with too much information. I actually realized how much I love coding :).

SheCodes was a cool adventure. I didn't realize how much fun I would have trying to figure out all the little tricks. Definitely worth the time for the fundamentals class just to dip your toe into coding.
It is slow paced so it was very easy to follow. Good hands on practice.

This course unlocked a new set of frameworks that helped expand the possibilities of code for me. This was such a great program, I'm a graphic designer so being able to learn the basics of coding will help further me in my career. I'm honestly debating about taking the SheCodes Plus workshop.

Overall, I really enjoyed the SheCodes Express class. It was great to be able to complete the lessons on my own time, and when I was having trouble I always found answers in Slack. I am happy to have learned some HTML, CSS, and JavaScript and am going to continue with SheCodes Plus.
I learned so much in 3 weeks with SheCodes Workshop. Each lesson comes with a small challenge which ensures you're understanding the lesson. The small projects were a lot of fun and I can't wait for SheCodes Plus.
SheCodes is an amazing coding workshop! I learned so much from Matt and it has certainly piqued my interest into the coding world. Currently working from home, so it's been a fun little hobby to keep myself occupied. I never coded before so was nervous that this would go over my head but it was really easy to understand and I was able to learn a lot really quickly.
As expected, it was a lot of trial and error to get the project to look the way I wanted. I know it's not perfect (as I'm a novice), but I had a lot of fun with the project! I also like that Matt had the students seek answers on our own, just like we'll have to do in the real world. π
After watching the free coding sessions with Matt, I decided to take a chance and invest in myself. I have been wanting to learn coding for years. As a young mother of two boys, I understand the need to stay challenged and relevant in the work-force. Coding is the future and will continue to be in high demand. I want to do everything I can to stand out and continue to advance in my career path. Supporting my family is must! SheCodes is a program that I've been able to easily follow and grasp at my own pace. Not the mention the community and staff are super supportive. I feel like I'm finally able to move forward with my coding goals because of SheCodes. It's a now a weight off of my shoulders and I highly recommend SheCodes to any woman wanting to learn and gain a new skillset. Here's to learning more and finding the job of my dreams! Go for it!

What an incredible & empowering experience SheCodes is! I am just amazed with how much intuitively digestible information was covered, in an expedient amount of time! I took on the daunting task of learning new a new skill and changing careers and SheCodes made everything so much easier! It was overwhelming at first, but all the lessons are well detailed and organized. The support offered through Slack is super helpful and staff sends messages of support and breaks down the code to help you with problem solving. I had enrolled in separate webinars with information on how to break into the coding and development world, and I was happy to see that I was already well prepared and knew most of the material covered after just a few short weeks. I'm so thankful and excited for this next chapter!π

I had the best learning experience. Before I started this workshop I didn't understand anything about coding, after the first class I felt so comfortable with this new language. Building the websites was challenging, but Matt explains the steps perfectly making it easy to understand! I'm Looking forward to the next workshop!

no one ever told me how fun coding could be! β¨ it's challenging & frustrating but when you persevere with trial and error and error and error π and finally get your result, wow, better than chocolate!
I really enjoyed this workshop and learning about React! SheCodes Plus was definitely a challenge for me, so transitioning into React felt like a breeze (at first), but I know there is still so much more to learn! If there's one thing I would want more of, it would be: more explanation on *why* things work the way they do. The video content is all super helpful especially watching Matt problem solve on the spot, as they come up. Whenever I ran into issues, I was thankful to have Slack as a resource, but I do wish I knew how to troubleshoot for myself a little better. I know that will come with more practice though, and I'm grateful to have gotten the basics down in this course and working on my final project! π₯³
Great intro to Coding!
I've learned so much from Matt in this coding program. It has really pushed me to further my education. All of his employees are kind and want women all over the world to succeed in tech. I am very proud of the page I created and happy with all I've learned in the course.
The thought of coding never crossed my mind, but this workshop felt welcoming and I was comfortable with being uncomfortable. It was surprisingly rewarding. I would absolutely recommend this program to others!
I needed a career change after years of being a Teacher, and dealing with the pandemic. I did meet with some challenges but, slack is there to help; so don't get discouraged. Overall I loved the class and hope to go further with tech in the future. I highly recommend this class, and plan on taking more SheCodes classes soon. Thanks Matt!!

The workshop is project-based, and for me, that has been the best way to learn how to code. It guides you through steps in a way a complete beginner can understand.
It's a great interactive workshop that provides a lot of support and you become apart of a community of women coders.
I really enjoyed this class. I could step through the course at my own pace, and I thought the material was challenging and fun. The way the challenges and coursework are set up make it very easy to get help, find resources, and learn from your mistakes.
Loved this course! The concept of "coding" had been intimidating to me, but Matt's classes really lay down the foundation and take away the mystery. Excited to have these skills in in my tool belt.
This workshop has been amazing! The videos are short but packed with info. The slack group is extremely helpful, and the projects are fun. You are taught real-life coding skills as well as pushed to learn things on your own to practice.

SheCodes has been very engaging and user-friendly. I find the challenges rigorous enough to push me to learn without making it daunting. The solution videos are helpful for being able to check how optimal my solution is immediately, while it's still in the forefront of my mind. The Slack channel is incredibly helpful for troubleshooting things that I'm unable to Google, with quick response time. You get out of this program what you put into it, so if you're motivated and consistent, you'll learn a lot!
I learned so much from this course. I love how I can go back & watch the tutorial videos as many times as I need to.
Loved how this program was formatted! The lessons were flexible and I liked how after each lesson there was a challenge and a homework to be completed so that I was actually using what I learned. Learned a lot with the beginner's package and cannot wait to upgrade to the next one.
I would highly recommend SheCodes. I love how the lessons are broken down into short classes and weekly assignments. I have never ever considered a career in tech but with everything that's been going on with the economy, I wanted to learn some new skills, skills that are in high demand. I came across the SheCodes a few times and even signed up to the webinar a few times without attending. Yup... I know. I finally decided to give it a try and at least listen to the free intro course. While I was watching Matt code, I said to myself, " I can do that!" So I finally decided to take the 3 week course. I found myself surprising drawn to the lessons and I found the challenges, though frustrating at times, almost like a strategy game. I like this coding thing and so I'm deciding to pursue the React Plus training program to keep this momentum going. I thought that Matt was a great teacher. I did like that he challenged us to do some research on our own in order to complete some of the challenges because it's just real life. I feel that I will be empowered to be able to find solutions on my own if I need to. When I couldn't figure it out however, I was always able to find help through Slack. Invaluable! I would recommend this program to anyone interested in something challenging and surprisingly fun.

I was interested in SheCodes for a long time, but when my project ended for work I needed a switch in careers and decided to do it! I thought I HATED coding but Matt and his colleagues are such great teachers and I'm excited to go all the way to start my new career in a high-paying profession!
I really enjoyed this course! It was challenging, fun, frustrating (in the right ways), and so exciting! I would feel so proud of myself for even the smallest successes I've made whether its changing font color or properly setting up page alerts. I only completed the three week workshop as a trial but I will be signing up for the 4 month soon. I have wanted to learn to code for a long time, but I struggled to learn in the past because I need some sort of more structured class. This was exactly what I needed in an online program without a set class schedule. Highly recommend if you need something for the resume or just a new skill that you can be proud of mastering!
It's taken longer than I would have liked, but I've completed my final weather app project! I've learned so much throughout this course including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, VSCode Editor, API, GitHub, Bootstrap and Hosting...and I know there's more! OMG! SheCodes is by far one of the best finds I have come across. Learning to code has been on my bucket list for some time. The pandemic provided the right timing to indulge in opportunities for self-improvement. SheCodes provided an affordable platform to obtain Coding knowledge in a non-intimidating environment. From starting with ZERO knowledge to now being able to produce my first HTML/CSS/JavaScript page is PRICELESS. I canβt wait to start the next session and progress to completing the entire program.
SheCodes had made it easy to understand HTML, CSS, and JavaScript language. I know I only scratched the surface in my 3 week course, but Iβm excited to see what else I can do.
I really enjoyed this course! I knew the basics of HTML and CSS from free platforms but really struggled to understand JavaScript. It was a lot of fun and I definitely found a new creative space to work in!

Matt is such a great instructor! He's both prompt and extremely friendly in his emails. The lessons were laid out in a way that was so easy to understand. I loved the homework of actually making something from scratch. It made me feel so much more accomplished. The Slack Chat was also a life saver for me. It was super helpful without just giving me the answer. I felt capable, and I cannot wait for my next class.
I was introduced to coding back when MySpace was popular and decided to take another shot at it. Given that coding can open so many other doors for me, I went on the hunt for a program that worked with my schedule. SheCodes was the perfect fit, I was able to complete the assignments at my own pace and you could revisit the lesson if need be. I'm so happy I made this decision.
