SheCodes gave me more understanding how coding works! Matt's lesson plans are easy to follow and include hands on learning. I have a full-time job and never thought I would be able to do any coding courses with my schedule. The lessons are at your own pace and Slack has been a lifesaver with everyone helping each other out. Looking forward moving to do Plus and React!
Fantastic workshop -- I've tried other online coding programs and nothing compares to SheCodes! The lessons provided were challenging but fun and truly taught how HTML, CSS, and JavaScript interact with one another to produce functioning websites. Looking forward to the next workshop! 👩💻

This 3 week course was super informative while also fitting nicely into my busy schedule. I really liked that the challenges and homework were not carbon copies of what we'd done in the lessons so we had to do a bit of searching and experimenting to figure out how to make things work.
The was a great way to progress my knowledge about coding! I never thought I would fluently understand and thoroughly enjoy coding as much as I did during this workshop. It makes me excited to learn more!
I've been working in the business of Art and Design as well as UX and Digital Marketing for a long time, and I wanted to sharpen my knowledge and mostly learn to be a better coder. I really like the Shecodes teaching method and instructor.

All I can say about this workshop is WOWZERS!😲 I didn't realize until now that the baseline languages I've been learning in college(C++,Python,Etc) is like a quick start to knowing just about all of them. I didn't expect to catch on as quick as I did, but it happened and its all thanks to workshop! I really appreciate the assistance from the tutors and videos. Its showed me that I'm capable of way more than I know when it comes to coding now more than ever!😊😊😊

I really love taking the SheCodes workshop! The lessons are easy to follow and the community on Slack was super helpful. Although I am new to coding the lessons didn't feel overwhelming because they were broken down into videos 15 minutes or less.
SheCodes has enabled me, coached me and given me the confidence to pursue coding. The course covered a lot of information, delivered in concise manner that is easy to absorb. The structure was clear, logical and effective. The main benefits come from the doing the assignments which implements new techniques.
A great course for anyone who is curious about the world of coding or who is looking to build their coding skills!
I would definitely recommend SheCodes to anyone! The tutorials are very helpful and at the same tome it also teaches you how to go and search for your own answers, which really pushes you and encourages you to learn more!
I knew coming into this class it was going to be challenging, but wow was I surprised about how easy shecodes made it to learn. It definitely will take a lot of practice to use all of the concepts without having to constantly look back at my notes, but I now understand how basic coding works! In 3 short weeks, I created a website with user interaction. I have never been more proud of myself!
These classes are easy to follow and taught me a ton in a short amount of time! I love how it walks you through step by step and gives you challenges along the way to ensure that you understand.

This was a very Informative course. I won’t say it was easy, (especially for me who had no prior experience with coding other than the last course I took with SheCodes) but it was worth the struggle and frustration. God bless the entire SheCodes team.
I started this workshop to prove to myself that I can. You see, I had a stroke in December 2018 while they were removing a brain tumor. The stroke left me with many disabilities among other things I wanted to prove to myself that I can and I could! :)
I've tried to take coding classes before but this is different because every lesson results in you getting to try what you are learning! Every step means more practice in short, quick, and easy to reach goals.
SheCodes Plus was tough at times but definitely worth it to keep improving my coding skills!
I used this workshop as a refresher on HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. It was very informative and quickly reminded me of my love for web development!

For years I had been trying to merge my creativity + business logic into a career and passion that suited me. I decided to enroll in the SheCodes workshops because learning how to code on my own was very difficult. Going through SheCodes, I really enjoyed how the challenges, homework, and projects make you think logically and critically. Also, having deadlines, seeing your progress, and being part of a supportive community is reassuring, which is something that I needed to motivate me to keep on coding. Now on to the next workshop!

This has been a great couple of weeks! I was extremely intimidated starting this journey, but with Matt teaching, I have confidence that I will be successful at being a great programmer. I have learned so much and excited about the upcoming lessons.
This course has been both challenging and thorough. The videos are great and the Slack community is extremely helpful with working through tricky challenges. SheCodes Plus has taught me that I'm capable of learning a lot in a short time and that it's possible for me (someone whose background is in acting and writing) to problem-solve with a different side of my brain.
I learned so much with this new course! I've been able to take my website that I paid $200 for and replicate it almost exactly. I love that I can now build without limitations. So excited for what the future brings!!
I found this class to be much more gratifying because of the sheer breadth you learn in this course. It's honestly so cool to see an idea come to life with real data. I hope to learn more and feel as if I've been given the tools to learn more in this field.
I was using free resources to try to teach myself some of the basics and I recognized I could benefit from some direction/instruction. I found SheCodes through an Instagram post and I'm glad I gave it a chance. I learned a lot and I hope to continue my learning. I recommend to anyone without any prior knowledge.

I’ve worked in the IT field for years as a Help Desk and System Admin tech. Taking this course definitely relit my fire for the technical field! I am excited to learn more so that I may be able to fully transition to the coding field.
When I completed SheCodes' other offerings, I promised I'd be first in line to sign up if a new course was ever launched. So, of course I jumped at the chance to be an early participant in the new Responsive Design program! Not only did Matt's instructions help me reinforce my previous knowledge of HTML and CSS, but with Matt and João's guidance I learned out to built an attractive multipage website that is optimized for multiple devices and screen sizes. I learned so much practical knowledge, and the final project was a blast! I can't wait to continue my responsive design practice and promising now yet again that if another SheCodes class becomes available, I will be first to sign up!

The class was great, easy to follow, and the workload was just perfect for people who have a full-time job. I loved the short lesson videos. These make it easy to work on the class for short periods at a time. There is also support available to answer questions when you get stuck on something. I highly recommend it.
I love Shecodes because it is designed in such a way that guarantees success and learning. It's not only watching tutorials but also working on hands-on assignments. I appreciate Shecodes for the skills I have accomplished.
After working in retail for many years, my husband and I were in a car accident that left him permanently disabled. When life deals a bad hand, there aren't a lot of options but to push harder or give up. I decided to push harder and changed careers. I needed something that could provide for us and our young son. But I didn't have a degree. So, I began pursuing IT certifications. I passed the A+ and landed a job at a Helpdesk. I've been there for about 18 months and am now pursuing a degree in Cyber Security. However, the leap from Helpdesk to Security is impossible without experience, certifications, and degrees. I started working with sites to learn ethical hacking, but they required coding experience, which I did not have -- dead end. While studying for the Security+, I saw an ad for SheCodes on YouTube. It sounded too good to be true, so I did some digging. Sure enough, it was legit and had awesome ratings! Then, I nervously asked my husband, "Do you mind if I pay for an online coding class that may or may be a scam??" haha And he said yes! That leads me to now! I just finished the final project and feel SO much more confident. I have programming classes required for my major, which I start next week, and now I'm prepared to take them on. I have even gone so far as to reach out and start networking with jobs in app development, system operations, and internal security. If there is someone out there who isn't sure, I would say this: Grab life by the reins and MAKE IT HAPPEN! SheCodes is a perfect place to start! Matt is an excellent teacher, and the structure is well laid out and very easy to learn. Go out there and get it, girl, because you deserve this!
The beginning workshop was a great way to see if coding is something I would be interested in. It is a very basic overview of HTML, CSS and javascript.
I wanted to learn how to code to start my own blog. 3 weeks ago I didn't know a thing about coding, but after taking SheCodes I have the knowledge, skills, and confidence to write basic code. Matt Delac is a great instructor. He has made learning how to code easy, fun, and practical. I feel very fortunate to have come across SheCodes and enroll in the courses.
The SheCodes workshop far exceeded my expectations. I had no idea the amount of knowledge that I would gain in three short weeks, especially since I had zero coding experience coming into the program. The structure and support were awesome!

This was a great introductory program. I really enjoyed learning about coding and learned a new skill.
Matt provides incredibly easy-to-follow videos. He breaks down the steps and structures needed for coding. The submissions and final project allow for practical application and gives you the chance to explore on your own to find the solution.
As a single mother of 2 small children, I cannot rave enough about this workshop. For quite some time I had been wanting to do something different as a career that could really allow me to provide for my daughters. I've always been interested in STEM and with my background as a Science and Math teacher...I was so excited when the most beautiful Godsend appeared on my YouTube recommendation about SheCodes. At first I thought "What is this?" then I clicked and it was amazing to think that in a short clip I found myself wanting to join. I worried that as a single mom juggling kids, homeschool, and play time that there would be NO WAY I could do this and not fall behind but after back and forth emails with Matt I was reassured that I COULD DO IT and that was the moment I took the plunge. I attended the free workshop and as an artsy attention to detail kind of person, watching Matt really allowed me to see myself doing this and becoming passionate about it. I set out on a mission to start and finish and made sure to do so throughout the course of these 3 weeks and I can honestly say that I am so proud of all the knowledge I've gained, so proud of myself and being able to say that I didn't allow anything to stop me from working hard, completing challenges and submitting homework on time. I DID IT! All of the thanks goes out to Matt Delac and his team João, Daniela and the wonderful people on Slack who took time to help me when I got stuck. After sampling several different intro to coding courses, SheCodes really stood out as the most straightforward and easy to follow. The introduction workshop lived up to all of my expectations and more- I can't wait to begin the more advanced workshops next! Every week offers a new challenge to learn and adapt to the languages of HTML, CSS and JavaScript. Its program is a flow into the next step, that way you create what was just learned. Smart feedback loop. I feel confident enough to move forward into the Plus and React programs. Another Big bonus is the community that we connect with on Slack to find solutions while participating in each lesson.
SheCodes was honestly more fun that I thought it would be! Matt's videos are easy to follow with bite size pieces of information and learning. I have always been interested in learning how to code and SheCodes makes it easy to approach a complex topic.
This was a really fun and easy way to understand the basics of coding! It's helpful to hear and learn why certain things are done the way they are, rather than just reading this information from a book or website and not understanding it on a deeper level. Looking forward to more courses with Matt!

This workshop was awesome! I really enjoyed being able to expand my skills by learning React. I also liked being able to apply these skills to the already familiar project of the weather app. Having a community through the Slack was great in order to connect with others and ask questions.
