I highly enjoyed this course. I was motivated and interested despite having a problem of losing motivation in something once I've started it. I thought a extreme beginner like me wouldn't be able to learn what I wanted, but I was surprised to see that I've improved much more than I thought I would have.

I never knew how great it would feel to learn something new. This is my second work shop and I feel like I have learned so much. When I first started my first work shop, I wondered wat did I get my self into. Then I completed it and was like wow I actually did it. I knew I had to keep pushing and keep learning. I love these work shops and plan to continue. This is truely a great program.

I attempted to learn coding several times before, but the basics just weren't sticking until I tried SheCodes. I was able to learn everything taught in the class while having fun! I am now looking forward to expanding my knowledge and transitioning into a career in web design. Thanks SheCodes!

I loved this class, it was a little difficult at first but, slack helps you with everything you need, it's very interesting and fun, I love it and am looking forward to learning more in the future

SheCodes Basic is a really good starting point for those who want to learn to code. The lessons are divided into short and digestible topics that will allow you to build your coding foundation. Matt and the team does a good job of explaining concepts to those who don't have a strong coding background. I highly recommend this workshop!

Really enjoyed this course! It's incredibly flexible and Slack is definitely active and helpful. A few times the video lessons seemed longer than they needed to be without new information added, which made me a little antsy. But even then, they're still quite short so this is a minor complaint. Really appreciated the documentation and resources listed for each lesson. A short and sweet little intro into the world of coding. Pretty overwhelmed by how much there is to learn, but I'm excited to keep going and grateful for how much understanding this little course gave me!

I was blown away by how much I learned in SheCodes basics! Matt’s teaching style is fun and concise. I’m glad I didn’t sleep on this opportunity, I’m already feeling confident and equipped with tools that will make me a great coder!

I was struggling to learn code on my own, and I found this program after reading an article from another SheCodes graduate. I was surprised by how easy it was to understand after watching Matt go through the explanations a few times. I am so happy that I signed up for SheCodes, and I would recommend the courses to any other beginner coders out there to give it a shot.

I had so much fun learning JavaScript. I like that you can go at your own space and not be tied down to a class time. I was able to do this while working full time and taking care of my baby.

This was well organized, simple, and helpful. Definitely brought out an interest in coding.

Is a fun, fast way to learn to code! The workshops and projects really build on each other helping you to really incorporate everything you are learning that applies directly to the real world.

This has been an awesome course. Lots of structure, accountability, and support. The assignments are well thought out and require thinking through the problem, which really reinforced the learning.

I have been looking for a program exactly like SheCodes for years and I'm so happy I finally landed here! To even learn just the basics in such a short time frame and to actually be able to see the result of your code instantly is very exciting for me. I really enjoyed learning about APIs, Git/Github, Bootstrap hosting and more in-depth CSS/HTML/JS. Although it was sometimes challenging, I now how the skills to start building interesting and impactful applications. I cannot wait to learn more in the Responsive and React courses. I highly recommend SheCodes Plus!

I've always been interested in learning how to code. Now that I'm a designer, I think it would be good (and fun) to have front-end skills. This workshop was a helpful start! I can see myself taking more advanced workshops with SheCodes.

I am so happy I chose SheCodes to learn Introductory HTML, CSS, and JS. 👩🏼‍💻 I have been scouring the web to find a guided course I felt aligned with my learning style, base knowledge, and long-term goals. I feel prepared to expand upon what I learned at SheCodes, and I definitely know web development is for me as a result. I highly recommend anyone considering web development to take the SheCodes basics course! It's worth the investment and will give you a good idea if the career path is right for you without breaking the bank.

Man but brain hurt after this workshop (SheCodes Plus) but it sure was worth all the headaches. Matt continued to do an amazing job breaking down every lesson and explaining how things needed to be/go that it made following along pretty simple. This one was a tough one (thank goodness for extensions) but I was able to get through this while suffering from horrible morning sickness ❤️

I am so happy i was able to complete the SheCodes basic course! It was super easy to learn and thats not because i'm a quick learner hahah. The lessons are designed in a very simple and understandable way. I will definitely be taking the next course and hopefully get to start a new career from this!

This is my second SheCodes course and I again loved it! As a working mom, SheCodes gave me the flexibility to work at my own pace while keeping on track with challenges and weekly homework. Matt is a great instructor who is easy to follow. SheCodes Plus was really challenging and the Slack chat was helpful to get tips and help if you get stuck as Joao was quick to help. I would recommend SheCodes to any woman looking to get into coding!

The instruction is all extremely clear and concise, making it easy to learn efficiently!

The course was fun and Matt made it very easy to follow.

I never really knew or understood what coding actually was until I tried this class!! Turns out its way more fun and fascinating than I ever thought. I am a person who has to understand the logic behind things, and this class gives you the logical reasons behind coding as well as how to code. You learn all the rules you have to follow but also, how to just have fun with it and still be yourself!! For anyone interested in coding (even just the basic concepts)try it out!! Its very much worth the price and I have decided to continue on to more advanced levels of this program!! Happy coding!!

I learned how to code years ago. This was a great refresher! I love how Matt teaches. Yes, it's technical. It's not as technical as other instructors though - particularly when it comes to Javascript. I look forward to taking additional workshops in the future!

I liked SheCodes Workshops. Lessons were simple, short and easy to understand which also helped me to fit it in my schedules. It was exciting to do the challenges and the project.

Hoping to pursue a career in Website building and Coding and this company will propel me towards that future! I have already recommended this company to friends and family.

Great introduction to coding! Before this course, I had little knowledge of coding. I had an interest to learn but I was hesitant about spending a great deal of money on a coding bootcamp just to find out if I liked it or not. I loved the 3-week program. The price of the program was great too! Matt is a great instructor with a supportive community. I'm planning on continuing with the SheCodes courses!

I already had a background knowledge in HTML and CSS but I learned even more about when to use a certain property or tag and when not to how to organize my code received help from the SheCodes slack program this was a enjoyable experience the lessons where put in a way where you can think and make it out.

I love the flexibility of this program. The progression of this course as well as the others are paced so well despite being as in-depth as they are. You are given a great start but also have the freedom to make your own creative edits. I finally feel comfortable with a portfolio/website to start applying to coding jobs. The SheCodes Basic workshop was a great refresher of HTML and CSS, and perfect intro to Javascript. The final project was the perfect way to incorporate all the elements learned in practice.

This was a very helpful and appropriately paced course for the content provided! I really enjoyed having the deadlines to keep me accountable and the many challenges to prove I understood the lesson. I'd definitely recommend this course to someone with little or no coding experience who is interesting in learning HTML, CSS, and JavaScript!

It is definitely more challenging in this workshop, but thanks to Matt, it is much easier to pick up and keep going. This workshop is a whole new experience for me and I really enjoy it!

SheCodes was great because the videos are very clear and self explanatory. I could understand and while watching to the videos, I was working on my codes and practicing what I was learning in class. I took it at my own pace and I recommend it for someone like me, who works full time and has a non stop toddler at home.

I loved this workshop and can't wait to keep learning. The lessons were easy to follow, and I enjoyed that the challenges often required more steps than what was covered. It was helpful to learn that process of troubleshooting independently, and Matt provided multiple resources to do so. This was a great introduction to coding.

I took this workshop dreading it, that's the truth... 🤷🏻‍♀️ During my Chemical Engineering degree, I had to take c++ and Matlab courses and I was so very bad at both, I barely passed. It was an awful experience. I promised myself - never again! After a while, realizing coding is not going anywhere, on the contrary, it's becoming a rather basic language so many of us speak, I decided it's time to try again. And although I might not dream of becoming a developer professionally, I wanted to understand what the developers I work with do, what it is that my friends talk about and why do all developers hate semicolons so much... To my surprise, this second coding experience for me was such a success! I absolutely loved it and I am looking forward to continuing this journey, it's such a fun one! ❤

SheCodes is affordable for someone that can't afford college classes and fixes in easy with my work week. I can work at my own pace and if I need help understanding something the community is there to help and is so great. I will be signing up for more workshops.

I highly recommend the SheCodes basic workshop for anyone who'd like to learn new tools and have a taste of what coding is like. Very good teacher and lessons, all very clear, detailed and doubts are answered fast. Go for it ;-)

I started this class because a colleague helping me with a project said he could eliminate 80% of my steps with a script. I had no idea this was possible and no idea how to do it. So, even though I have no coding experience, I decided to take a few classes. Even though I'm just at the Basics level, I now have a small understanding of what he wrote to make all of that magic happen. I'm ready for SheCodes Plus!

SheCodes lessons are so creative. You are learning something new, improving your knowledge of coding, all while having fun. I only learned the basics but I am excited to continue widening my knowledge!

Learning to create responsive websites was fun and effective. It felt like I was creating two websites in one without being overly complicated. It makes me want to revisit my old designs and improve their accessibility.

Before SheCodes, I didn't know anything about coding. But this course is packed with challenges and deadlines making it very interesting to achieve all the assignments. Help is always nearby in Slack which I find very easy to use to communicate with the other students and the SheCodes team. I'm so excited to be able to apply my knowledge to furthering my career in tech! Thank you so much for your guidance!

I love the step-by-step process as you are learning how to code. The homework at the end of each lesson is very important and helps A LOT. The final project makes you think of what you want and how you're going to get there so there were a few times I had to walk away from the computer and come back when I was less stressed. I am very excited to have finished this project and look forward to the next chapter.

The SheCodes Responsive course, though it utilizes a lot of the same front-end coding knowledge explained in the SheCodes Plus course, builds upon it and emphasizes creating sites with responsiveness and accessibility in mind from ideation through deployment. In today's world of myriad internet-connected devices and the diversity of users, I found this approach very helpful and important for new tech professionals. My portfolio site is ultimately more polished and my design sensibilities more aware of the audiences I may be reaching.

This course was chock full of a lot of enlightening information. As usual Matt broke things down in a digestible way, but also made me work to figure out a lot on my own. I felt like I had many ah-ha! moments while working though the material and ultimately building a portfolio. I worked building a professional website for one of my friends and she and I were both impressed at how much I've learned. I really enjoyed learning more about Bootstrap and gaining a better understanding of SEO.

This has been an amazing experience. The material is very well explained and easy to understand. This program offers great flexibility with busy schedules and overall helps a lot to learn coding without any background in it.

I have been wanting to learn how to code for a while now but was overwhelmed with all the options for learning. I am so glad I decided to try SheCodes Basics. I have learned so much in the past three weeks and I look forward to starting SheCodes Plus soon to learn even more!

SheCodes has honestly changed my life! Two weeks ago I was just starting to learn and had almost no confidence in my ability to code in Html, CSS, and Javascript. SheCodes hands-on method of learning to code has changed everything. I now have my own website that I built as part of the final SheCodes Basics project and I feel like it's something I'm proud to say I created. SheCodes is perfect for beginners looking to increase their skillset and confidence as they move into careers in software development or hobbyists looking to create a special projects. Everybody could benefit from taking this course!

I love to learn. With a deep desire to learn how to code, I went through many different websites, applications and different methods of learning in an attempt to learn how to code. With so many different directions to take, unsure of which way to follow, I tried them all and as many as I could. I was exhausted and overwhelmed when I stumbled upon the SheCodes ad on a YouTube video. After the free course, I already felt I was ready to code! I took it a step further and tried the first workshop. Now I can code, I know what road to take and I never felt more confident!
