Great intro to coding course! I've been teaching myself to code and SheCodes helped me to actually understand what I was learning. I highly recommend SheCodes to anyone who has ever had an interest in learning to code.
Helped me a lot with learning how to code the basics of a webpage. Cool course, I like that you can do it on your own time mostly :)
This was a great introduction. Everything really made sense. I did dipped my toes in a lot of other intro to web development/web developer classes and this was the best so far. Challenging yet, easy to follow with real word applications. Def worth the investment.

I highly recommend SheCodes for anyone who wants to learn Javascript, even if you have no experience whatsoever. The support was great, the lessons were thorough, and I appreciated the flexibility of a self-paced course. While there will always be more to learn, I think SheCodes has given me a great foundation to build on.
I've always wanted to build my own webpage and I'm so happy with how this turned out. I have so enjoyed this program from Basic all the way to Responsive.

I really enjoyed taking the SheCodes workshop. I think the curriculum is very engaging, easy to follow along, I did not need much assistance but it there when you need it. Before this course, I briefly did some studying on HTML and CSS, this course ended up putting it all together - but I would highly recommend this to a new leaner. I now have much more understanding on the material and can't wait to start on the Plus workshop next week.

The SheCodes Plus workshop was no easy feat, but with the detailed lessons and help of other students/instructors, I completed the course and created a weather app that people can use! Excited to move onto the React workshop and learn more!

SheCodes Basics was a great introduction to coding. The lessons were easily digestible and the homework/assignments were challenging, but integrated your new knowledge. The Slack app was also a great addition to ask questions and connect with other students.

Course was easy to understand and each lesson prepared me for the next. As Matt says in his videos "Have fun coding"... it really is fun! I am already figuring out how I can use my newfound knowledge in my career and expand on what I've learned in future workshops!

The community that Matt and team has created is probably one of the best educational groups I have ever experienced. SheCodes is an amazing way for a beginner to learn coding. At the time, I was looking for a coding program, but I had missed all of the deadlines for them. I felt like I had run out of options, but that's when I ran into SheCodes on a Youtube ad. It changed everything. Matt's way of teaching is amazing and the fact that it's self-paced made it even better.
SheCodes Basics was a great jumping off point to dive into Plus. The modules felt like mini intensives, opportunities to explore concepts like APIs and frameworks in an easy to manage way. There's definitely a lot of information available online but SheCodes Plus was a helpful anchor to ground in without getting lost or overwhelmed. Before I even realized it had happened, I was drawing on knowledge to solve problems on my own and now when I branch out and read about coding on other forums I'm ecstatic to find that I can follow what I'm seeing. SheCodes has definitely helped me see the depth of my own inner well and start filling it with resources and knowledge.
I really enjoyed the ease of SheCodes and how simple it was to learn basically a whole new language! I'm excited to proceed and learn more.
A very fun way to learn about HTML, CSS, and JavaScript! I enjoyed the challenges that were included in some lessons, it helped me prepare for the weekly homework and the final project.

This was a trying course, but I learned a lot in a relatively short amount of time. Be ready to put a lot of time and energy into this course. It definitely took me longer than 5 hours a week. Overall I would still highly recommend this course, and look forward to continuing my coding journey with SheCodes.
SheCodes Responsive is my third workshop I have completed! I continue to learn new things every day and I have met so many supportive people along the way. I feel more confident in my ability to pursue a career in web development. I am looking forward to SheCodes React and expanding on what I have learned so far. I would recommend this program to anyone looking for a creative outlet in the tech industry!

SheCodes Plus was a rather enjoyable experience. Each section is broken down and explained clearly. You will end up doing some of your own internet research for answers but that is all part of the learning process. This course was a great challenge and will be worth it in the long run.
SheCodes took something [which felt] daunting and intimidating, and made it simple and fun! Matt explains the "why" behind things, to better understand what you're doing [which you don't get from other online classes].
I love how thorough each lesson is and everything is explained very easily for you to understand and not get lost in the process. It's great that we get to practice with every step of the way, it is challenging but worth it in the long run because of everything that I've learned! Very grateful for the whole SheCodes team in helping me get started in the Tech industry and thank you for this great skillset.
This course was so FUN! It really builds on everything you've learned in other courses. I really enjoyed learning how to make pages responsive and customizing the code for the navbar.
Wow! I had a blast with SheCodes, and I've learned so much. This method of learning works well, and I appreciate that it's a flexible learning structure. I never would have thought I could go from a complete beginner to creating my own web page from scratch and have a lot of fun while doing it!
This was so much fun! I have always heard of coding, but I never knew what it was. I had the time, I was curious, so I decided to bite the bullet. I did not realize how much I would actually enjoy it! I am glad that I took this workshop!
It was helpful learning how to make web pages responsive and continuing to build HTML skills. This course also allowed me to utilize Bootstrap even more and I feel quite confident in being able to utilize Bootstrap in future projects.
It was stressful but I got through it.

I came into this highly intimidated. This is a subject matter I have avoided my entire life. Matt broke down the steps so that it was learnable and not too intimidating. I only threw my computer once... just kidding!

I decided to do the SheCodes workshop at a very difficult time in my life... It may not have been the best decision to push myself so much while dealing with extreme life events... but that being said Matt is an AMAZING teacher and I am so glad I pushed myself and kept with the course, it was 150% worth it! I fell in love with coding through the Basics workshop and I am excited to continue learning. π€©

SheCodes Basics is a thorough introduction to HTML/CSS and Javascript. It filled in gaps I had from starting other introductory courses and added to my knowledge. After working through the course I've gained confidence in my problem-solving skills and am excited about learning more.

As someone who had zero experience with coding prior to SheCodes Basic, I highly recommend this program. I really enjoyed learning the basics of coding, especially CSS.
This workshop was definitely challenging but so rewarding! I come from no coding background whatsoever and found the lessons and challenges/homework assignments fairly easy to understand. When things aren't clear, the answer is usually a Slack message away. Take it from a true coding novice, if you're looking for a truly beneficial coding workshop, check this one out!
It has been an exceptional experience. I know I am still a "green banana", but this class has made me want to learn even more. Matt is a great communicator and an excellent teacher. I hope he keeps expanding the courses to help us get even better and expose us to even more complex JS.

WOW!!Coming from the basic workshop, SheCodes Plus is an accessible introduction to hosting, APIs, and has a perfect balance between π₯΅and π€―. What a ride! Some lessons are challenging; however, Matt and the SheCodes team do an excellent job at breaking down topics and integrating previously learned skills each week. This first contact with the frontend dev world has been challenging but also proved to me that I cannot wait to continue!
SheCodes has been a wonderful experience thus far. Each topic is broken down into small exercises, complete with explanatory videos (made by a wonderful teacher) and challenges. I can't believe how much I've learned in just the first few weeks. Bring on the next workshop!
I enjoyed the class and would recommend it. The videos are short and concise, they get straight to the point. You don't feel too overwhelm because if a video lesson is teaching you something knew, the "challenge activity" only focuses on that. Afterwards, when you proceed to another video, you just add on to the existing code that you created from the previous challenge or activity. Tip: taking notes is helpful.
