It was very exciting to learn something from scratch! I have never done any kind of coding before SheCodes and to be able to complete this was really amazing. It was challenging and fun to learn all the JS techniques. The support you get from the team is great. I will keep going until I complete the full course. It's like once you start, you can't stop.
I have continued to enjoy learning coding with Matt :) In the add-ones, I like that he provides multiple style references so we can choose to follow the one we like.

She codes has been such a wonderful starting place for me! I hadn't ever done anything with coding prior to starting this program and I was a little bit nervous I wouldn't understand. However, between the easy to understand lessons, the interactive homework and the help from individuals in slack I had nothing to be nervous about.
Through some difficulties and achievements with the help of others, I gained a better knowledge of my coding experience. Therefore I am very excited to continue my education on programming.
It was a wonderful experience. You can move at your own pace, and the assignments/homework is straightforward to understand. The videos are also informative and easy to understand.

I had so much fun learning html, css, and javascript. The occasional bumps in the road did happen, but I had access to all the tools I needed to find the solutions. This is a wonderful workshop and I'm excited to move on and keep learning more!

I decided to go to SheCodes because I was looking for a career change. I needed something that would challenge me yet leave me wanting to learn more about it. Learning at SheCodes and learning coding gave me just that! The basics workshop exceeded my expectations in giving me all the tools necessary to make sure I had the confidence to complete my final project. I actually am enjoying learning coding.

This course was great! I loved the flexibility! Life happened many times and I kept pushing my start date back until over a year after I signed up, and then again a few times once I started. But because of this I was able to actually do the work and learn from the class! I really appreciate that I was able to do this class for my own enrichment amongst my insane and unpredictable schedule and not have to stress! Perhaps once things calm down again I'll take another class, it was fun to see a final project using all the techniques I learned!
I have a lot of fun playing with coding after work for stress relief. I like the self-paced learning design and the challenges of each class. Thanks, Matt, and I am looking forward to the next workshop.

This workshop was a challenge, but it's so fun to see how the websites I use everyday come together and look good on multiple devices!

I'm not going to lie, this section was not easy...however, it is not impossible either. I think the best part about SheCodes are the resources available when you need help. I found that from time to time, Matt would go over something and occasionally go back and forth about decisions. This can be challenging to say the least. That being said, it is important to remember that there is a ton of information and realize this will not be memorized or fully learned overnight. Patience is key!

Good extension of the Basic workshop
This experience so far has been great. There were definitely some hiccups, especially because this is my very first experience coding. But, those ah ha moments are so worth the initial struggle. I've learned so much in such a short amount of time. I can't wait to see where this workshop takes me.
SheCodes basics was just what I needed. I knew nothing about coding. I have thought about courses before, but my whole life my family remarks that my brother "got all the computer brains." I had doubts about being able to complete the program and now I am walking away proud of myself just for trying. I am excited to have learned something new and look forward to continuing my coding journey with SheCodes.
Very detailed instruction on why each concept is needed and how to find and correct errors using console log and detailing Github documentation.

I wanted to start out with a college course at first, but was afraid I would not be able to understand the work. I came to "shecodes" to see if I really could learn to code and I did it. I am very grateful I came here first before spending so much on college courses.

SheCodes was a fantastic way to learn the fun of coding. As a complete beginner, the course did a good job of teaching the fundamentals of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. The SheCodes team was also a big help with answering any questions I might have had.
I'm really enjoying SheCodes. I find it challenging and so fun! The online community is very helpful and Matt is a great instructor, he makes coding make sense. I'm looking forward to learning more in the advanced courses.

The instructor made it easy to follow along. The one thing that I could not have gotten by with out was the inspect console. Thanks to the instructor telling us to check our code there I was many times able to see where my code was going wrong and was able to correct it.
