Great experience learning more CSS!
I recently had the privilege of taking the React sheCodes class, and I cannot say enough about how incredible the experience was. The course was an enlightening and transformative journey into the world of web development with React, and I couldn't be more satisfied with the results. Matt demonstrates a deep understanding of React.js and a genuine passion for teaching. His approach was structured, yet flexible, making it accessible for beginners and rewarding for those with any prior experience.
I absolutely loved the coding workshop! The instructor was very passionate and knowledgeable, making learning a breeze. SheCodes basics is the perfect way to dip your toes into the world of coding! The lessons are well thought out, the challenges properly apply the lesson taught, and the homework brings everything you've learned together to make it just challenging enough, but still fun! Matt is a wonderful teacher and explains everything well so it's easy to understand. I'm looking forward to continuing on to another workshop! I decided to go to SheCodes because I was looking for a career change. I needed something that would challenge me yet leave me wanting to learn more about it. Learning at SheCodes and learning coding gave me just that! The basics workshop exceeded my expectations in giving me all the tools necessary to make sure I had the confidence to complete my final project. I actually am enjoying learning coding.

I loved the quick pace of this course and how challenging it was. The clock project comes together great and was another great skill to add to the SheCodes toolbox!
I had prior knowledge about the basics of HTML/CSS/JS coming into the course, but I had so much fun picking up new skills and getting creative on my own final project. This course was great! I loved the flexibility! Life happened many times and I kept pushing my start date back until over a year after I signed up, and then again a few times once I started. But because of this I was able to actually do the work and learn from the class! I really appreciate that I was able to do this class for my own enrichment amongst my insane and unpredictable schedule and not have to stress! Perhaps once things calm down again I'll take another class, it was fun to see a final project using all the techniques I learned!
I have a lot of fun playing with coding after work for stress relief. I like the self-paced learning design and the challenges of each class. Thanks, Matt, and I am looking forward to the next workshop.

Loved learning how to use react. I'll admit it was a bit tricky learning how to resolve the terminal issues regarding software versions. I look forward to experimenting more with react and creating new projects.

I'm not going to lie, this section was not easy...however, it is not impossible either. I think the best part about SheCodes are the resources available when you need help. I found that from time to time, Matt would go over something and occasionally go back and forth about decisions. This can be challenging to say the least. That being said, it is important to remember that there is a ton of information and realize this will not be memorized or fully learned overnight. Patience is key!

Good extension of the Basic workshop
This experience so far has been great. There were definitely some hiccups, especially because this is my very first experience coding. But, those ah ha moments are so worth the initial struggle. I've learned so much in such a short amount of time. I can't wait to see where this workshop takes me.
SheCodes basics was just what I needed. I knew nothing about coding. I have thought about courses before, but my whole life my family remarks that my brother "got all the computer brains." I had doubts about being able to complete the program and now I am walking away proud of myself just for trying. I am excited to have learned something new and look forward to continuing my coding journey with SheCodes.
Very detailed instruction on why each concept is needed and how to find and correct errors using console log and detailing Github documentation.

I wanted to start out with a college course at first, but was afraid I would not be able to understand the work. I came to "shecodes" to see if I really could learn to code and I did it. I am very grateful I came here first before spending so much on college courses.

SheCodes was a fantastic way to learn the fun of coding. As a complete beginner, the course did a good job of teaching the fundamentals of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. The SheCodes team was also a big help with answering any questions I might have had.
I'm really enjoying SheCodes. I find it challenging and so fun! The online community is very helpful and Matt is a great instructor, he makes coding make sense. I'm looking forward to learning more in the advanced courses.

The instructor made it easy to follow along. The one thing that I could not have gotten by with out was the inspect console. Thanks to the instructor telling us to check our code there I was many times able to see where my code was going wrong and was able to correct it.
My experiences was amazing with this program. I hope i can keep having an amazing time when coding.

Super fun add on to the SheCodes experience! Very useful information learning how to build a multiple page website that's responsive and SEO friendly.
The add-on to the basics course was super insightful. It was nice to take the things that were learned in the basics course and then use that knowledge to grasp the new concepts taught in the add-on course! Very useful and good to learn even more about what html, css, and javascript can do.
This was a really difficult workshop, but as long as you take your time and really practice you will get it. I certainly struggled with learning React, but I can honestly say I prefer it to regular JS.
The lessons are pretty easy to follow once you get accustom to them. Everything is so much fun to learn.
Great workshop! It was challenging, but you get to transform your design concepts into interactive and user-friendly experiences. You will learn to bring not only your website to life but also learn important responsive fundamentals for smaller devices with Bootstrap and media queries.

Great course on how to make websites responsive.
SheCodes Plus definitely was a challenge in comparison to the previous course. I enjoyed it though! I am learning so much and I know I wouldn't have been disciplined enough to get this far on my own. Thank you, so much Matt and SheCodes crew! For anyone considering Plus, my best advice would be to make sure you set aside at least an hour or two every day to work on your project. I got behind by trying to do the week's worth of work in one night a few times.

It wasn't easy, but a lot of it is putting in the time and effort to learn how to do things after you're told what it is, and once you figure it out, it's very satisfying.

Fun add-on project and it's very useful to learn about dark themes.
The course was easy to follow and thorough. I feel like I received a great base that I can now build on.
React is difficult to learn. I appreciate that this project used multiple components of React to build on learning from the last module.
I really enjoyed coding. I am proud of myself for taking the chance on myself to get it done. I have always been interested in it but was too scared to try. Matt & the team with SheCodes made this a breeze. The lessons are easy to understand and walks you through everything. I would definitely recommend it.
