Great learning...

Easy to follow, and a vital workshop for web development.

My first-ever API project was a success. I learned a lot from this workshop and would love to create more web pages using the knowledge I've gained here.

I really loved working on this project! It helped me gain a better understanding of how to use APIs effectively and gave me a deeper appreciation for the learning process involved in tackling new challenges.

Graduating from the SheCodes Plus Add-On program has been such an empowering journey. It pushed me to level up my HTML, CSS, and JavaScript skills while exploring more advanced tools and techniques. I loved the hands-on projects because they made everything feel practical and real like I was building something meaningful instead of just following along with tutorials. Building my weather project with React was both a challenging and rewarding experience. React's component-based structure allowed me to create a clean, modular design that made the development process more efficient. Using React's state management, I was able to seamlessly update real-time weather data, ensuring a smooth and engaging user experience. I really enjoyed this Basics Add on course. It was a good refresher to check that I grasped the knowledge acquired from the Basics course, and it challenged me to take coding a step further. The Slack platform also proved useful to get guidance when I encountered a hurdle and showcased the really beautiful project created by other baby - coders.

This has to be the most challenging stage so far but all I can say is I am very grateful for this opportunity and for shecodes because I dont think I would have made it without the help.

Great option for understanding Python basics.

Responsive was another amazing chapter in my learning journey of becoming a front-end developer! It brings together all the learnings into one comprehensive project at the end which was challenging but also exciting at the same time. The introduction to Bootstrap was priceless and eye-opening. Responsive is where I started to feel like i could finally locate and fix my own mistakes and also research relevant parts of the code to add to my project! Thank you so much for this course, its truly so practical and hands-on that the learning just sticks :)

Highly recommend

This was by far the most challenging SheCodes course! Not because of Matt's teaching, but because React itself is quite complex. The course is structured into manageable chunks, and I’m proud I could create a functional React Weather App by the end.

This SheCodes Plus workshop has been a great course with lots of challenges and triumphs. It has definitely increased my understanding of interacting heavily with JavaScript and seeing the interplay of building a functioning site pulling data through the use of API. Pouring over the lines of code to find out why things aren't working and troubleshooting various strategies to make fixes to the code was daunting at times, but to see everything finally come together was quire rewarding.

I enjoyed this course! Learning about libraries like Moment.js and practicing date and time formatting was really helpful.

This is an excellent course! Matt did a fantastic job explaining and breaking down the content in a way that’s easy to understand and not overwhelming. I truly enjoyed working on the project and am so glad I discovered SheCodes. I look forward to continuing my studies with them!

The basic course was fun and I will definitely continue studying with SheCodes in 2025.

I have knowledge of coding in c++ ,c and java language .I am eager to learn web development and for that i think SheCodes is the best platform to enhance my skills.

I enjoy the workshop but i should practice much more

In recent months, I’ve integrated an AI chatbox into my daily life—whether it’s for creating a financial plan, designing a workout routine, or simply answering random questions. I’ve always marveled at the complexity behind crafting something so masterful. This course provided an invaluable glimpse into the process of building an AI chatbox. While the concepts were indeed intricate, the course was structured in such a way that it remained accessible and easy to follow. It was an eye-opening and rewarding experience!

This workshop was incredibly useful and informative, introducing essential concepts that every programmer should know, yet I hadn’t seen taught before attending this workshop. I was so excited about building my weather app and curious to explore how far I could go with it in terms of extra features and options. I also added a twist to make the workshop even more exciting for myself by figuring out how to add the weather forecast before watching the lessons. Solving this on my own was incredibly helpful in boosting my confidence, encouraging me to use my creativity to solve problems, and ensuring I didn’t blindly copy Matt’s solutions. I am confident that my success in doing so was due to the solid foundational knowledge I gained from the previous lessons. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed this workshop, and it sparked many new questions that, once answered, will greatly help me advance further in this field.

Is a very intuitive and fun course to learn coding from scratch!

This course has been very good as well as challenging. I had experience in HTML and a bit of CSS but JS is something I was curious about. So good so far. I am so excited to learn more.

Learning to code has been such an amazing journey so far. I've learned so much in such a short amount of time and I can't wait to see what challenges each workshop brings. Enrolling in SheCodes is one of the best decisions I've made in my life thus far.

SheCodes Plus was difficult but I am proud that I got to finish it. I can't wait to complete all the workshops.

I started SheCodes about a month ago with zero coding experience. The videos and challenges make it really easy to learn. I especially enjoyed the final project for the Basics Workshop because it allowed me to apply all of the concepts I learned in the first few weeks.

There was a couple of weeks where the workshops really pushed me, but by the end of week 8 it's amazing to reflect back on how far you've come and all the things you have learnt. Definetely recommend to anyone interested in front-end development!
