I really enjoyed learning how to code with Shecodes! During this three-week class I learned a lot more than some of my friends working in IT learned during apprenticeship. Pretty fun!
Never thought I would actually have fun coding! Before I started this course I had the idea that it would be somehow a little boring but it's not at all. It can be frustrating sometimes but I prefer to call it challenging. Really enjoyed learning to code with SheCodes.
Never thought I would be able to do coding before joining SheCodes workshop. It has definitely been a fun and enjoyable learning journey!
I was extremely intimidated by coding and didn't have much confidence in myself. When Matt explained that it was just like learning a language and that it could be rather creative, it put me at ease. 3 weeks ago, I had no idea where to begin, and now I want to continue and see how much further I can take this. He even influenced me on how to be a better teacher when I teach students how to use new educational computer programs via webinars. The way he walked us through it and broke everything down along with hands-on assignments was really great. Thank you so much! I hope to see you soon at the 4-month workshop.

When I started the coding journey I just wanted to see if it was just a little of curiosity or if it was something else. In the end I really found a passion! I loved that the program is mostly learn as you go, and you can count on people here to find some help when you are stuck. There was so many things that amazed me and really show me that coding is so powerful (like Mac said so many times in this course... and he was totally correct). I had known about this page since last year, but I haven't given the opportunity to try it until now, and I'm very pleased. It gave me the flexibility to do it in my time, but at the same time motivate me to finish every module per week. And I finally start this dream of my: learning how to code, for me the key was that they said it was for everyone, regardless of whether you had no experience, finishing this course has actually been the beginning of a new skill that I will continue to develop for the rest of my life. Wanted to learn the basics of coding to help open up more doors in tech. Every career woman in tech should take this class because it's not too heavy of a workload but you still learn so much in the 3 weeks.

Coding has always fascinated me, and I am so happy I eventually landed on SheCodes website. Hii,im shina currently living in london,born in India. I'm new to coding , I know nothing about coding but surprisingly I enjoyed it so much.
SheCodes was the first coding workshop that I've ever taken, and I'm so glad that I did. Coding has been one of my hobbies for years. I wanted to take a course that would hold me accountable for following through to the finish so that I could really strengthen the skills that I had and learn some new ones along the way. I really enjoyed the format and the resources that were shared. This course set me up to be accepted into an immersive boot camp starting in a few weeks and was a huge contributor to making a career change.
It was very fun and easy to do. I ended up spending more than 1h a day simply because I love it. Thank you for this great experience π

SheCodes is very informative and through this we assess ouself with each chapter where we stand by solving the given challenges. The material given is very easy to understand, and if stucked in between, the Slack channel is always there to help.SheCodes Team is also responsive, whenever you need them you just drop mail and they will revert you within few hours. I think SheCodes is a great platform for females. I am very happy with SheCodes and I would like to suggest that SheCodes should include more coding workshops for languages like JAVA, PYTHON, etc.

I never realized how much I would enjoy learning to code, as it is a skill I thought beyond my ability to learn. However, SheCodes makes the content accessible and engaging.
It's true, the more you practice the easier it gets. As frustrating as it was, never give up and always look at the small details. This has been such a rewarding experience that I hope I can continue to do something with this knowledge.

This was such a fun, interactive way to learn something new this year. My husband is a data scientist and he has the mindset that everyone should know a little coding so I decided to do all of the SheCodes workshops to introduce myself. The project, while a little challenging at times was so fun to create and now I have something I can show friends/family to show my progress. Having the homework keeps me accountable and Joao answered more than a couple of my problems I was having through slack. I would definitely recommend!
It is a great course for beginners, the lessons are broken down into digestible pieces, and you can also use Slack for help whenever you need it. I had zero coding knowledge before this course and now I'm looking forward to continuing this journey.

The Introduction to Coding course has been an amazing three-weeks long journey! Challenging at times, but so motivating and inspiring. Now that I completed the course I feel to be ready to create from scratches landing pages and why not, even a personal website dedicated to personal branding π

I have really enjoyed this course! It has been easy to follow, and the challenges/homework tasks are great for consolidating the knowledge.
Really easy to learn and to take your own time to learn and expand your knowledge. I love that the program is for women, I'd have loved to have had women mentoring/ answering our questions us as well. The teachers were really prepared and replied very fast. I'm very satisfied with everything that I learned with the program.
The final course in the series, SheCodes React, was definitely challenging but also fun to complete. Matt's instruction makes learning React easy to understand, and encourages problem solving as the videos won't address every issue in the real world application of the code. Definitely a great learning experience!
I am so happy that I continued the advanced SheCodes Workshops. I experienced a lot of highs and lows during SheCodes Plus and I am so thankful to the SheCodes team on Slack for helping with all my questions. I'm so proud of myself for creating a functioning weather app. Four months ago I knew nothing about coding and now I have the skills to write code and I hope to continue growing as a new coder. I came in with no prior knowledge of code. I was interested to start because I want to have my own businesses online, this had already lead me to web designing with templates and then wanting more freedom/control. I have to say, I didn't expect that I would enjoy learning online so much, the lessons are easy to follow and you get to practice straight away, which is amazing! You also have to research some things, all of these practices put together give you great habits for your future. I've flown through the first course and can't wait to get started with SheCodesPlus. SheCodes is a great platform to start your coding career. I have always been in the engineering and technology industry and had a big interest to step into the coding world! With the help from SheCodes, I was able to learn JavaScript, HTML and CSS. There are no limits with coding and endless amount of creativity, I can't wait to continue my SheCodes journey into becoming a Front End Developer and gain a great understanding of React. I have worked in IT sector as a sales specialist for some time now and because of that fact I was always near coding but thought that it is too complicated for me. I stumbled upon a free class and thought to myself why not. After this beginner workshop I am quite sure that coding isn't the boogie man. Lectures are superbe and everything is explained very good. Would recommed!
Even though I just finished the beginner workshop, I feel confident with the knowledge I've gained in being able to understand the basics of the languages taught. And this is huge since I come from a zero-coding experience background. I'm a very hands on learner, and so appreciate the homework and assignments that allowed me to put what I was learning to use.
This course helps me to implement the learning and practice at the same time.
These classes have been exciting and informative! I've really enjoyed learning new skills and creating a project in two different formats. I feel like I have a much better understanding of how these languages work.
I thought the course was a really good basic introduction to html, Css and Java

Little did I know about the wonderful journey I was getting started with and how mistaken I was about coding! The satisfaction that comes from completing every challenge and making your project is indescribable. With the help of Matt and his team, I learned that I wonΒ΄t feel lost along the way if I just ask for some help and persevere until I find a possible solution because there is always one. Surprisingly, coding turned out to be a synonym for fun. I can't wait to get started with SheCodes Plus and SheCodes React. :)

Great course. This really boosted my confidence. I like how the lessons built on each other, and the challenges were not meant to mimic the lesson plan rather it was meant to challenge problem-solving.

This workshop was a great introduction to coding! I never expected to learn so much from 0 to the final assignment in only 3 weeks. The lessons and challenges are intense, but they fit perfectly in a busy agenda.

It's been a very intense four months where I learned a lot of new things about programming. The first programming course I did from start to finish, which is probably the best recommendation!
I had a great time learning the basics of HTML, CSS and JS! Wish we went more in depth will a lot more about HTML coding, but great workshop to start with if you don't know the languages yet! I am so happy to found out about this workshop by chance. As a Product Designer, I always wanted to learn coding someday to design an innovative product, but I had no courage to learn independently or by tutorials. So, this workshop met my needs. Matt is a great teacher, and it's fun to code after he teaches you the lessons. I highly recommend Shecodes to every woman who is curious about coding and the digital world. It's so exciting when you cod something, and it works. Now, I have more confidence to work with developers.
After finishing the Introduction to Coding Course I knew I wanted to go further - what a great choice that was!
