The SheCodes Workshop is an excellent opportunity to start coding! I've always been very curious about this and now that I work with IT I felt that it made perfect sense. The lessons are super clear and you learn a lot in each one. The way the subjects are distributed and the fact that we always have challenges helps a lot in learning. I started the workshop just to see how and what coding can be like ... and WOW, it's so much fun.
This was a great and rewarding experience I would really recommend to anyone curious about coding. I was a total beginner and a little sceptical about the claims that this course can kick start a career as an actual coder. However, I feel it's a really effective foundation and there are lots of really useful tips on resources that I would not be able to get from anywhere else given I don't work within tech nor know any developer and internet is so full of information, this really strips it down to what you ACTUALLY need to know. I definitely have more to learn, but it's really fulfilling, fun and you get all the support to achieve a lot in a very short time. I did this course so that I can look back to 2020 and feel I've achieved something, and I can happily say this has definitely delivered on that ambition :)

I feel this program was the perfect introduction to coding! Iβve always been curious about the art of coding and was seeking a new challenge during quarantine, Iβm so happy to have signed up for SheCodes. The classes are well laid out and the challenges are a great way to ensure you have fully grasped the concepts. Most online platforms do not offer this type of interaction; SheCodes is a great way to learn online. I will add that the sense of community is truly excellent, overall very satisfied with this platform.

Growing up I did not engage anything STEM related and now I regret it! Learning to Code gave me a powerful sense of wow I could actually do this! Keep in mind I have no experience with technology, I currently am a Teacher Assistant, and after taking this workshop and learning from Matt I'm thirsty to learn more about coding. If you're ready to learn a new skill to advance or start a new career, take a stab at coding. I was hesitant at first, but now I'm hooked!
SheCodes gave me the confidence to say I know the basics of computer programming. I learned more in 3 weeks than I did in a year long high school class.
This course has been great! The learning is super easy to follow and the challenges along the way ensure that you can practice the different elements as you go. I would definitely recommend this workshop to someone that has no experience of coding before. I was surprised to find how creative the process has been but have really enjoyed this aspect.

I found SheCodes React very challenging. But with the help of the SheCodes instructional videos and numerous online forums, I was able to make the Weather App using React. I highly recommend SheCodes.

I had such a fun time learning React and I can't wait to continue my coding journey. I've enjoyed the way the courses are structured; there are small challenges in every lesson to practice along the way before tackling the bigger weekly homework. Matt also gives an emphasis on correct workflows and gives tips on the best ways of staying organised, which have been really useful. I've recommended SheCodes from the start and I'd love to take another course if more are offered in the future!

I think it is a really nice course, quite easy to understand because of the overall didatics. The only thing I would say is to try to do when you have as much time as you can, because even if it is possible to do the course, the learning process would be enhanced by that. I feel I lack a bit more on the deepening of the if and for functions for java to be more independent, however, there is always someone to help you when necessary.

I was going through a crisis where I felt like I graduated in the wrong major, I knew I wasnβt passionate for it and so I wanted to give coding a try since itβs something that has always been in the back of my mind. I didnβt want to end up doing another 2-4 years in school and other workshops are very expensive, Iβm currently unemployed so when I found shecodes, I got everything I was looking for. They helped me find my passion in this, they helped me with the price and everything about this course is just amazing.

Matt Delac is an ampathy and well-organised teacher. He knows how to teach those who have zero knowledge about coding. I really enjoy his step by step lessons. It was a very difficult and challenging time, but the SheCodes Plus Workshop course pushed me more than ever before to keep going and to not give up in my coding journey. In several weeks I was able to learn so much more about vanilla JavaScript with the supportive team at SheCodes than I could ever have done learning just by myself. Even though my final weather app project is quite basic, I tried my hardest and best with what I could manage now, and again I'm so very glad and thankful I didn't give up. I especially love the fact that we will always have access to course materials, videos, and the Slack group even after graduating the workshop, so I am going to look over the course again and again to solidify my knowledge. I look forward to improving my skills greatly in the next workshop (SheCodes Plus React)!

Great course to start programming at the very begin, step by step! Highly recommended. As an improvement, I would only have preferred that some concepts weren't repeated so much and instead get to learn new ones (especially in week 3), but as I said, it's only a personal preference :)

I enrolled in SheCodes because I wanted to learn more about web development. The course was so engaging, and I learned a ton. I can't believe within three weeks I was able to code a functional website. The instructor is very concise and makes the topics interesting and fun.
What a great 3 weeks it has been! I have enjoyed every bit of it. Actually, I'm gutted it is over! The structure of the workshop was great for someone who hasn't have much experience with HTML/CSS or JavaScript and having the learning content in bite-sized chunks made it so much easier and engaging for me. I have really enjoyed the SheCodes courses and would recommend them to anyone wanting to learn to code! As someone with no prior knowledge of coding I feel I have learnt a lot - the tutorials are informative and broken down into manageable segments which prevent the feeling of being overloaded by new concepts. I have always felt supported during my time on the course and would encourage anyone to give it a go!
Well, I saw the advertising on YouTube, and unlike other ads, this one just catch my attention. Before I realize I was already inscribing myself to the course. Due to the university admission exams I was studying and couldn't properly take the course as I wanted to. But I must say it was really enjoyable!
Perfect workshop for beginners! I tried learning to code before but it was hard to stay motivated and I felt like I wasn't learning fast enough. However, this workshop has taught me so much and I am now confident enough to continue my coding journey.

Review is required. Good workshop but final project is not one I am passionate about and while the skills used in the weather app are important it is not very creative and I lost interest and started a project on my own that I preferred to work on.

Great way to find out whether programming is something for you and also which kind of programming you are interested in.
This was the first time I've ever coded anything, EVER! SheCodes makes it so easy to learn though. I especially appreciated the real time support. My favorite part is that I can do this at home on my own time, however and whenever I choose. Most classes I've seen offered have set times & require participation in live classes, even online. This worked much better for my lifestyle & schedule. This was a great way to introduce me to coding, I can't wait to learn more!

I discovered SheCodes through a friend and decided to try it myself since I always had an interest in coding, but was to scared to try because I didn't have any experience. It was a lovely challenge to try coding for the first time and I will definetly pursue this interest of mine! SheCodes did not dissappoint!
Before starting this course, I was affraid that I was not able to complete all the tasks and, at the same time, understand the basics of coding. During the firsts classes, I understood that this course is perferct to all women that are begining to understand coding language. At this moment, I feel that I can include the basics of coding on my competences. For me, this is important not just to professional proposes, but also to personal achievements.

Matt makes learning code easy. Because it is structured in small bite-size pieces I could fit in into my busy schedule. I was really happy with what I had learned after only 1 month.
SheCodes' React development course is very interesting. You are challenged to get the most out of yourself in the field of programming. Matt explains it in a very clear and pleasant way making it understandable and logical.

The Plus course is a true challenge but gives you a great overview of what to expect if you decide to invest and make a future of web development! My introduction to SheCodes was through the 1-hour free coding workshop. I enjoyed Matt's informal style of teaching and camaraderie and decided to sign up for the beginner programme. I am happy to say that his style of teaching carried on through the weeks. He breaks down the concepts into simpler details that are easy to understand. I really enjoyed the fact that for the weekly homework, I could go further than what was required as long as I used the concepts I learned during that week. The final project also created an opportunity for me to create a page for something I have been wanting to. SheCodes radio was also an additional interesting feature. I have enjoyed it and will definitely be pursuing coding further.
Starting with learning the basics has really set me up to want to learn more about coding. Being able to manipulate simple code to create what I want, even with trial and error, has been very enjoyable. Hopefully will be coding in the future to come, thanks to this course!
I wanted to do something useful during our lockdown in Austria and SheCodes was the perfect choice! I had no prior experience with coding so the workshop was quite challenging at times but when it all suddenly 'clicked' it felt so rewarding :) I had a lot of fun and would recommend it to anyone who wants to learn the basics of coding.
