I took this course as a motivator to brush up on my coding, and to build a good base to study new languages. Within a few days, this course helped me build upon my prior knowledge, and made the first steps to learning Javascript very straightforward!
This was my favorite workshop so far. I loved learning how to make my code responsive, and it helped me get a better grasp on previously-learned material. I appreciate all the help we receive on Slack, and I can't wait to start the React workshop!

SheCodes was such a great introduction to coding especially if you have had no experience with coding. The structure of the lessons were great and really helped to build the knowledge after each lesson. This course is really worth taking if you aren't sure about coding or want to know more about what is expected.

I came into SheCodes Basics with close to no knowledge on coding. I learned so much through this workshop! I had a lot of fun learning HTML, CSS and JavaScript basics. The layout of the classes made it so easy to learn coding, retain and utilize the information. The support from Matt and the SheCodes team on Slack was amazing. I never thought that it would be so much fun to create a website by myself. I have long been interested in how to program such pages and SheCodes is the perfect training platform for self-study. The videos and short exercises are very well organized and the platform is very easy to use. Really great job by Matt, he is an ideal teacher who can explain really well.

It's the first time that I use React and I have to admit that was really straightforward. The instructor explains the code and modules step by step. Moreover, it was really funny to design my own web page. I can't wait to apply all the knowledge that I obtained during the workshop in my future projects.
I am very impressed with the level of skills I've learnt. When you look at the agenda you might get a little intimidated at first. But actually it's super exciting. The lessons are very well-organised and easy to follow. I really enjoyed the course. In the end you have a cool project you can showcase.

After completing the Basic workshop, I was really looking forward to continue my coding journey with Plus. Wow! That was so much fun and intense. I took the basic last year worrying that I would forget what I have learned but nope, it all came back, it also helped that there was a brief review at the beginning.
