At first I thought I wouldn't be capable of learning how to code, but throughout the workshop I always felt that Matt was encouraging and I never felt bad if I didn't understand something. I can't believe how much I learned in such a short amount of time!
Learning to code from scratch surprised me because I never imagined it would be so easy. I enjoyed the course and did not realize the time had passed when I was coding. This course gave me a lot of confidence and made me eager to participate in the next courses as well.
SheCodes Basics was challenging at times, but it was also so FUN! It was exactly what I needed to get started on my coding journey. Matt made everything easy to understand, and the challenges and homework deadlines helped keep me on track. I am so excited for what's to come!

SheCodes Responsive has been the most fun so far! The lessons are still brief but give you enough confidence to test the waters, try new things, and really develop a polished site!
I really liked the detailed description, step-by-step actions.Open access to the author's code, which allows you to quickly view. Managers help to solve basic questions. The course helps to understand the hidden part of IT and understand whether you really need it. I recommend everyone to at least try π€

This workshop was definitely more challenging, working with React was awkward at first but it presents the code in a simpler and "cleaner" way! I could see that we can learn something new, such as coding (that seems impossible to learn at the first sight) but I know I still have a lot more to learn, it's a whole world that I don't know half of yet! In the end, it was fun and I learned a lot! Thank you SheCodes and Matt!

SheCodes has provided a strong self-paced fundamentals course that dives you straight into the world of coding! It's a course where they've cut out all the fat, allowing you to have hands-on learning from the get-go. I love how thorough, yet easy it was to follow along. I enjoyed learning on SheCodes, it was challenging but I liked how I gained new skills and was able to make a website with the step-by-step explanation of all the videos provided. This is a great way to embark your journey on becoming a professional web developer, I highly recommend it if you are a complete beginner and new to coding!
I retired last year from Bank of America and was looking for something to keep my mind active. What I found in this workshop is a possible path to a new career. After 2 weeks I feel I have a good foundation to build on and am looking forward to SheCodes Plus and beyond.

This workshop was both challenging and exciting. The times I came up with my own solutions to the bugs in my code really made me feel like a legit coder! All thanks to the tips Matt gives in every video. And when I couldn't figure them out, the instructors on slack were readily available to help. I may not feel like a pro, but I certainly don't feel like a beginner anymore either. Definitely worth it!

I'm loving SheCodes! It's a very hands-on workshop. It's very exciting to see things happening as you learn how to program. I definitely recommend it. Also, the staff is really helpful on Slack.
I've always hesitated to try to learn code because it seemed daunting and something I did not know I would enjoy. However, with SheCodes, I've found a new appreciation for learning languages such as Java and HTML. This program and the team behind it are full of people who are always more than happy to help you through your work and adjust if you fall behind. I have a busy schedule as a current student but following the SheCodes program never proved to be a hassle to finish nor a strain on my ongoing schoolwork. I love this program and it is a decision I will continuously thank myself for following through with. I cannot wait to keep going.
I completed SheCodes Basic back in August and finished wanting more. I finally decided to continue learning and began SheCodes Plus at the beginning of this year. I am eager to continue learning and seeing progress each week.

A much more advanced course that thoroughly covers React. Make sure you join the Slack channels as APIs can change, and the team is very quick to provide helpful answers on how to adjust your code to these changes if you can't figure it out yourself. Very supportive community.

Hello world! I just wrapped up my course with SheCodes and enjoyed learning the basics of coding. This course gives great insight and helps you understand why you are doing what you're doing. It was an incredible introduction to coding! Matt is an awesome instructor! It had its challenges but going back to video instructions and the possibility to search for the answers helped a lot. Plus being able to consult on slack was a saver for my final project π
