I am incredibly happy to be a part of SheCodes community and am very grateful to the creators of that project, as it helps me to gain so much new information and skills.
The process of learning how to code was interesting and pleasant. I enjoyed studying the course.
React isn't easy topic to learn, but with Matt's explanations, it became really clear and understandable. I'm happy to complete this workshop (as well as all previous), and I feel confident to start my career as a front-end developer.
I loved every minute of this workshop! By far the best online classes I have followed so far. It is very fun to see a direct result of your new skills learned with each chapter. Very easy to follow and with a good balance of explanations and exercise, with the exercises having the exact right difficulty. When struggling, the community of fellow students in the digital tools makes it feel like you are not alone and you can get help whenever you get stuck. Looking forward to follow up with the more advanced workshop and improve these newly learned skills!
Although some parts took time for me to solve, it was a very interesting experience. A great sense of accomplishment after completing the project!

Wow. React is indeed an amazing tool and I am very glad and thankful that it was included in SheCodes curriculum. Like in all the other workshops, Matt guides you step by step through a well-structured learning path and you keep accumulating super powers ;) If you understand HTML/CSS/JavaScript (e.g., if you have completed the other SheCodes workshops), I truly think that you should check for yourself what you can do with React. Probably it will fit perfectly as the solution for that project you are dreaming aboutβ¦ I canβt recommend SheCodes enough for all who want to learn front-end programming. Congratulations to the SheCodes team for their amazing work!
Succeeding is not an easy task. There was lots of new information as well as new challenges and to overcome any obstacle there was a nice and helpful staff. I really enjoyed my time working on this projectπ€ It was rather interesting and facsinating to learn how an app works on the inside and I'm thankful for this knowledge.
Such a great experience, I can't wait to sign up for the next workshop!

During the process of this course i went from someone who was completely terrified of React, to someone who feels confident writing React code. Matt's teachings are concise and very beginner friendly. I would 100% recommend to anyone who's learning react for the first time.
SheCodes Basic provided me with an understanding of basic code principles. I was pleasantly surprised by the ease and straightforwardness of the instructions. The project-based approach promotes active learning and not just simple memorization. I would certainly recommend this workshop to people who want to learn the basic principles of coding at their own pace.

After completing all the SheCodes workshops, I feel fully prepared to enter into the tech world. This program gives step by step instruction that is clear and concise. Would recommend to anyone wanting to learn to code.
Matt's tutorials are not only thorough, but they're well-organized so that they build off of each other. Week 1 was all excitement as I realized that the HTML I learned 20 years ago in high school had still been bouncing around in my skull somehow. Adding CSS on top of it was a piece of cake, and the course lays everything out for you one step at a time. Week 2 was all JavaScript, which was brand new to me. There were times I got tangled in my own code during a challenge, but I was never frustrated because it was so simple to go through that week's threads and see if anyone else had similar problems in the past. If so, there were always helpful students and teachers ready to give solutions and help work out the issue. I came here from trying to trudge through Coursera's Google IT certification courses, but I was really struggling and kind of worried that maybe I wasn't quite 'smart enough' for a new career tech or something. However, based on how easily I adapted and absorbed the SheCodes training, I think it's just the different approach Matt brings, which is more visual learning (since he has his code in the video right in front of you so that you can pause it and follow along in your own session of VSCode,) in addition to the small challenges at the end of each lesson, which helps you practice and cement the coding you just learned. Aside from the videos, there are all kinds of learning/coder aids, such as cheat-sheets, color palettes, and CSS generators. Fantastic program. I'm so glad I took a chance from the beginning and signed up for SheCodes Pro. I'm ready to rock the rest of this program and have an exciting, fulfilling career. FINALLY! Thank you, Matt!

It's a very interesting and useful workshop, that learns how to build your own portfolio and how to make your site responsive. After ending these lessons, you can develop and modify sites for different mobile devices, so they will be looking good on different screen extensions.

I really love how easy to learn and how the videos were relatively short. It helped a lot in keeping my attention and motivation up. This is a great class for testing your interests and making coding seem less daunting. Would definitely recommend.

Excellent course! After each video lesson, it seems that everything is very simple - and that I can do everything easily, but in fact, it turns out that everything is more complicated than it seems at first glance. What I especially liked in the course is that CSS, HTML and JavaScript are not studied separately from each other - but in interaction with each other - when you understand how one or another element can be used in practice - such information is remembered much better. Thank you for the interesting course and for the prompt support in Slack!

This was one of my favorite courses so far! I loved to be able to create and design my own portfolio to showcase the work I've done so far. I enjoyed playing around with the endless possibilities of Bootstrap and CSS to make my portfolio as responsive as possible. And as always, Matt was very clear and helpful in the videos. I love how SheCodes contains so many small challenges for coding newbies like me to play around with HTML, CSS, and Javascript. The course overall is very beginner-friendly and fun. I am very satisfied at the community SheCodes built and the knowledge I learned from the course!

I really enjoyed learning the basics with this workshop. I had been trying to learn on my own for a while but it was very difficult to keep disciplined. This workshop really helps you keep on track on your studying and practicing, and the lessons make it really easy to understand everything.

I was completely blown away by how fascinating and digestible coding was for me. I went from not knowing a thing about coding to being able to understand code, break it apart, and rearrange in its' correct format. I had no prior knowledge or experience in coding. And SheCodes helped me develop a new skill that can hopefully help fund my college career. I would definitely refer this course to anyone who is interested in stepping into the tech world.

this is the third course I have completed and I can only say wonderful things! Matt teaches in an easy to understand way, the videos are very complete, the help when needed in Slack is always very good and anyone who hasn't taken any SheCodes course, MUST DO IT!!!
