I had decided to learn programming many times before, but every time I failed. SheCodes taught me programming in the simplest way and made me go through all the classes with interest and enthusiasm and never get tired of programming.
Feeling incredibly proud to have completed my third certificate with SheCodes! π I started earlier this year with no coding experience and now can build my own apps. Excited to see where this new skill will take me! π©βπ» π

As a complete beginner, I started my coding journey with SheCodes in April 2022, which was purely coincidental. I can't believe I've come all the way to completing the React course! The videos are super fun and informative, as Matt guides you step-by-step on what you should be doing. Even 30 minutes a day will help you get a long way.
I would like to describe the workshop as a full and deep immersion in coding. Thank you to the whole team for advising, and supporting in a friendly manner. And also for genuine real trust for each individual
Such a beginning was quite motivating to continue studying, everything was understandable and all tasks were quite clear. On the course the most valuable for me was insight that coding not so frightening as I was thinking. Main thing to know is basic structure, because a lot of things you can find in Internet if you know where to find and how to make a right questions.
It has been the most incredible 8 weeks of my life working on SheCodes Plus with the numerous tasks. I was able to get through some extremely difficult days, with lots of brainstorming and having to delete codes and starting from the beginning. I can confidently state that it is worthwhile, and I am delighted to be a part of this wonderful group. With the support of SheCodes' fantastic tutor and staff, I finally was able to create and build a Vanilla Weather App.ππ₯°π©βπ»

In December 2021, with no knowledge whatsoever of coding, I applied to the SheCodes Workshop Foundation and was selected in January to begin learning coding with SheCodes. Today, 7 months down the line, I, Juliet Nnaji, am now a Front-end Developer who is proficient in interpreting designs and building functional, responsive, and user-friendly websites; and also familiar with HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, Javascript, and React. I can not say thank you enough to Matt and the SheCodes team for taking a chance on me.
I enjoyed the course, it was well structured and easy to follow.
An engaging, broad course - ideal for expanding on basic coding skills and understanding how websites are hosted. It's a lot of hard work, but it's great that the resources are there for all time, so you can go back and work on your skills.
Good course, everything is conveniently divided into blocks. Homework gives an opportunity to master the studied technologies. Everything is great.
Loved this course! I've tried others and SheCodes is by far the best βΒ everything is well explained and demonstrated, and the weekly tasks keep you accountable. Can't wait to come back for further courses soon!

I always thought that coding was something that I would never get into because it's supposedly really hard. SheCodes actually makes it fairly doable to learn and the prices for the courses are not to bad. I do recommend this to anyone trying to learn as well even if it's just the basics course. You learn a lot in just 3 weeks if you put your mind to it.
Take a look at yourself and everyday try to become a better version of yourself.

I think SheCodes Basics is a great investment. It introduced me to the world of coding and taught me the basic fundamentals, all in 3 weeks! When I was learning by myself, through apps, it only taught me coding language, such as html elements for links, images, headings. However, it never taught me how to apply this language and create a functioning webpage. SheCodes filled in this gap and taught me through coding software that developers are actually using. I look forward to continuing my coding journey and thank SheCodes for giving me a great starting foundation!
A great course to get started with web development - no need to trawl through hundreds of courses to find something which is actually for beginners. This is the best course I've found :)

Building a weather app in this part of the course was very challenging but nevertheless exciting! Now I have a pretty decent project to put on my profile. I really liked that everything was well-explained, so I had zero problems while working on home tasks and the final project. Overall, I learned a lot and had fun in the process :)

After successfully completing SheCodes Responsive course, I believe that I have gained the required skills that will help me become more precise and creative as a Front-End Developer. Playing around with design and code was not only fun but also honed my skills. Practicing your skills and seeing your work come to life is the best thing about coding.
I did it! It was not so easy, but Responsive course is worth of studying definitely! Video lessons are still simple, but Matt give the most useful, important information (especially, links and documentation as reference sources). Anyway when you know your direction, it's easier to achieve a goal!
I have experience using HTML and CSS but have been out of practice for years. SheCodes was a great way to reintroduce myself to coding. I am pleased that I took this course. If you are interested in taking this course, I would recommend it. There was an excellent balance of learning new material, exercises, and homework.

It's really cool and practice-oriented course. And it's indeed what is required for beginners - not to be overwhelmed with complex theory and give up, but to learn something new in a playful manner.

I went into this with a bit of apprehension because I am not the best with tech in general but It is an incredibly easy-to-follow workshop and the tasks were really nice and fun to complete.
SheCodes was really helpful in making me learn the basics of coding. The flexible schedule made everything more manageable and I liked the teaching style a lot.
This next course SheCodes Plus is more difficult, than the previous one, but also more interesting! Coding can be a real challenge, but it can give you new knowledge about how all this stuff working, it's amazing! Matt and the whole team are great teachers and helpers. Without their help, I couldn't make my app. I can't wait to start the new course. And now I want to say - if you're still doubt about whether you can try coding or not, it's nothing to worry about. It was very interesting and awesome 8 week cource. It was may be a little bit complicated for beginner in some chellanges but solved these chellanges was very useful and interesting.
