The Basics workshop provides a great overview and introduction to the world of coding. I'm excited to continue my coding journey and learn so much more!
I have been putting off coding courses because they looked so intimidating. Once I found She Code and finished the free class. Now I dare to continue with coding practices with She Code.
I struggled a little bit with timing because of my job. I did my best to make it work and learn as much as I could. This gave me a great start to understand how I can begin to build my own websites!
Had a great time learning some more manipulations for HTML and CSS that I hope to apply in the later workshops!
This class was very easy to follow and to understand content. I found the information to be very helpful.
SheCodes Basics was a great workshop for beginners like me. The short-form videos and step-by-step instructions are digestible and easy to understand. Usually, I struggle with concentrating so this visual format was ideal for my style of learning. Each week's workshops are very clearly organized, which made finding solutions to my problems easy to figure out on my own. And the challenges and homework are very comprehensive. I hope to enroll in more advanced workshops in the future.
The most challenging assignment so far, but so rewarding! I have learned SO MUCH!!

I am working with IT teams but always hesitated about if I should try to code myself. But now I am so glad that I did not miss this chance. Matt's workshops are amazing. Nothing superfluous, overwhelming, as clear, succinctly and comprehensibly as possible for a student of any level.
The classes were engaging and easy to follow. I enjoyed every step of the way.
It took me waaay longer than planned to complete this course, but I gave it my best between my full-time job and personal commitments and hobbies. Despite having extended this journey, the feeling of completion is still highly rewarding. The course is made in a way you can really express your creativity in coding as well as in the app design, which was very nice to experiment with. Moving forward to SheCodes Responsive!

It was nice to learn more about styling and get to do a project about something we like using a nice design.
I would definitely recommend SheCodes basics to beginners especially. Matt is the best and he explains everything perfectly. Even if you have no experience or knowledge on coding, this course will teach you everything you need to know to kickstart your career.

Just when I was said that all my SheCodes courses had finished, Matt added add-on modules to complete the previous modules. I really liked all the little learning snippets and challenges. Perfect balance between listening and watching and trying yourself. I really learned a lot and have become more experimental as the course progressed to try new things and make things work. As final project I created a page on "New Work", a topic that I find really interesting and that I try to implement in my direct work environment to transform the company culture.

I enjoyed this course. I learned a lot and was surprised how much I was able to do on my own by the end. I would have liked a little more direction on why things were done the way they were, but I'm sure I'll be able to continue on from what I've learned here.

I liked the 2 previous courses more (mainly because in this course 2 weeks material was life coding containing previously acquired knowledge rather than learing sth new), however the project was challenging and for me it was a lot of fun doing it.

Loved it! Super easy to follow, great fun. My only thing was that, while I understand it's Mr Delac's programme and greatly admire his mission, it seems a bit discordant that it is a man teaching all the coding classes to women. Perhaps it might be worth thinking about re-recording the classes with women coders who are now in the SheCodes company. Something which could also have been done for the latest release of the new workshop.
Really fun to discover even more functionalities with this Add-on Workshop!

The course goes through the basics of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript in a very simple and easy-to-follow way, a great option for someone who has no previous knowledge of these tools. However, I would have liked to receive more in-depth feedback related to my final project.
I really didn't think I could learn so much in such a short time. The basic course turned out to be much more enlightening than I expected, and now I can't wait to continue and expand my knowledge and coding skills!

I enjoyed this basics course so much. I was a total beginner, had no idea what "writing code" was. Matt explains things short, sweet, and to the point. Very easy to follow along. Plus: I love the girly aesthetic of the website!π
This was an incredible introduction to coding! The lessons provided were really easy to follow, and I felt as though they gave a very good basis of knowledge. They also made me really excited to learn more and want to continue my education.
Learned a lot of great tools to help grow my knowledge in coding. I was also amazed at the portfolio I was able to create for my career. :) I'm extremely proud of myself and I plan to keep on learning.
My work has progressively led me down a more tech-based path. I was frustrated with navigating unfamiliar software, managing websites, and learning the correct language to describe navigation issues with support persons. I signed up for the SheCodes free course, and it planted a seed. Not only is it creating ease in communication with our technology support persons, but it's also feeding my creativity and love of problem-solving. I am so happy I had the opportunity to take the Basic Course and am even more excited for the next eight weeks for the Pro Course.

I had the best time with the Responsive class, though it was challenging! It was great to see how webpages can become responsive and to learn the millions of tricks of the trade. Coding has truly changed my life for the best!

Super fun and challenging! Spent many hours coding and learning how to build responsive sites. All the videos and challenges gave me the tools to create my first fully responsive portfolio. I'm pretty happy with how my final project ended up looking!
