The SheCodes Basic Workshop is an easy to follow introduction to coding. It's cool and fun to learn HTML and CSS. Lessons do not take much time, clear and without additional useless information. I can't wait to start SheCodes Plus!

This course is very useful and fun for me. My interest increase in coding. Thank you shecode for making this course and let me use that.

A great and fun way to learn coding for beginners.

I am a complete newbie to coding, I have just completed SheCodes Basic and so far I am loving it! I enjoy the format of the course, short lessons and challenges. Support is amazing. Will be signing in to SheCodes Plus.

I enjoy the training so much I don't want it to end. shecode is just the best online coding course.

At the beginning, the course seemed A LOT and quite difficult. But when I started the second week, the fun begun! Doing the final project really taught me to use everything I learned during these weeks.

This workshop was fantastic and I have learned many new knowledges. Thanks to Matt and SheCodes team, who gave us this chance to improve our capabilities and help women to have a bigger share in technology. I highly recommend this workshop to everyone, who want to improve her abilities and make a better copy of herself.

During this workshop I finished my personal website! It wasn't easy but interesting and a lot of fun. Thanks to SheCodes and Matt for the opportunity to create and explore.

Very nice courses

Fabulous, fun course, really enjoyed learning the basics! Would really recommend to anyone who has an interest but isn't sure. Matt is a great teacher, his instructions are clear and the videos solutions reinforce knowledge. This course has been pedagogically designed and considered so that learners really come away with a strong foundation to build from.

Challenging at times but loved it all the same!

It was both challenging and exciting experience for me! The course is built in a way, that you are learning from your own experience and faults. At the same time you are provided with all the necessary basic tools and knowledge as well as community and team's support. Strongly recommended!👍

The videos were excellent, the challenges allowed me to review what was learn in each module and overall had fun learning the basics.

SheCodes Responsive is an excellent course that gave new skills to make the site adaptive to mobile devices. They made it possible to correct errors in the display of the project, which used to be so frustrating.

SheCodes really helped give me the confidence to start my coding journey. I did some basic HTML and CSS in Uni but I found it very confusing and overwhelming. SheCodes simplified the process and made it very enjoyable and much easier to learn and I'm excited to continue this journey.

My only regret is not starting shecodes sooner! I found these workshops back in January but couldn't bring myself to take the plunge. At the end of August I finally decided to try. I never thought that I would learn coding without going to college but then I found SheCodes. Now I can say that I'm very happy to have learned how to code and I can apply my knowledge at my current job.

This was my first time ever trying to code and Matt was a great instructor with straight forward and easy to follow lessons. I really enjoyed the course and had fun learning from it and from other students on Slack. This course was extra special because for the first time in months I felt like I was able to achieve something without feeling overwhelmed or discouraged and that meant a lot for me. I have tried a couple of other workshops that were months and months of lessons. I still could not wrap my head around how JS connected to HTML & CSS which made me feel defeated and simply not good enough. Now after this fun brief course I have a pretty solid understanding! I am excited to see how much more I can learn in a short time span.

I had a great time with SheCodes. All tasks were not very easy, but Matt made the coding clear. Also you have to pay attention to the details, it's really important and be self taught to learn some CSS rules, tags etc. It's not hard with Matt though. He shows the right way how to do it right.

It was a cool experience working on a weather website. It was quite a challenge, but thanks to Matt and the entire SheCodes team, I managed it. Even if you don't understand something, you can always ask the mentors in Slack and get a quick answer. It's a real treat when you see a website come to life thanks to the code. Thank you SheCodes for this fantastic experience.

It was very helpful for me as a javascript newbie! It's really cool that my knowledge and skills are improving with each lesson! Now I have a burning desire to learn Javascript in depth. Many thanks to the SheCodes platform.

This course is quite clear to understand and it contains enough of practice which makes stuff easier to remember. I liked it! It's a really good learning platform for beginners.

It's my third SheCodes workshop. And every time I think that it's so amazing to try something new in the welcoming atmosphere of true mentorship, support, and appraising students' progress. I feel that I become stronger and more curious with every week and every lesson.

The Responsive workshop was quite simple, it was easy to figure everything out :)

SheCodes Basics was a nice intro to coding. Matts' teaching style is concise, and each challege was approachable and fun. I'm looking forward to learning more in SheCodes Plus!

I learned such an amazing amount about how to built a beautiful website in such a short amount of time. Not only did I learn how to do specific things, but I also learned how to look things up on my own. This will allow me to do even more than I learned in this class in the future, and continue to build upon the knowledge I gained in this course. This will help me in so many different aspects of communicating with designers, engineers, etc. in the future.

I always wanted to learn how to code. I have spent a lot of time in the customer service/food service realm and always saw advertisements for coding workshops. Three weeks ago, I took the leap and I don't regret it. I definitely have a mind that likes to figure things out and so seeing the back end of everything has been super cool. This course was definitely nostalgic, reminding me of my time trying to edit my Myspace profile to something a little more personalized. I definitely want to continue my journey and learn more.

I fell in love with coding when I participated in a one-month training on digital skill acquisition organized by young catholic professionals. Even though I was an art student way back in school, the program was impactful, and I made up my mind I would pursue a career in coding, unfortunately, I didn't have the needed funds to do so, but thanks to God, I came across Delac Foundation and applied fortunately for me, I was admitted to study Coding free of charge, its one of the best thing that happened to me and ever since then my life has changed for the better, and I want to say thank you SheCodes.

Great refresher for basic HTML, CSS, and JS. It's suitable for people who have never coded before—great explanations, homework assignments, and projects that keep you accountable throughout the course. The only reason for my 3/5 stars is because I already knew how to the content in this particular course. Skip this course, however, if you recently learned HTML, CSS, and JS and have a good grasp of the fundamentals. I suggest you proceed with the higher-level curriculum.

Would highly recommend SheCodes Basic course to anyone who are even slightly interested in knowing how to code. You can choose your own pace of studying (do have deadlines tho & it's a good thing), lessons are structured and on point, challenges are short and fun to accomplish and you can also always ask for help from team if you're stuck with something. I had a great time learning basics and really excited to learn further!

It was an amazing course! The videos were easy to follow but also challenging and I really enjoyed learning something completely new.

Loved SheCodes Basic! Short and straightforward videos with clear explanations and simple examples specifically designed training material for beginners and advanced students alike. Extra info with links at the bottom of each video where you can learn more. Who knew that it would be more difficult to decide on the colors you want to use for your final project than the coding part itself 😅. Good thing Matt has a solution for that too with SheCodes Color Palettes and CSS Gradients. Thank you Matt & SheCodes team!

It was a GREAT start in a new specialty, huge experience, I acquired new knowledge and skills, I became calmer and more observant)

The lessons taught by Matt, were super clear and manageable. Having the slack team available for when we got stuck was so nice, and helped keep up morale and motivation toward learning more and having fun doing it. Outside of that the other SheCodes resources, such as the gradient and palette features, and shecodes radio rocked ! Most importantly, they were really understanding with timing; I needed extensions due to health concerns and power outages, and they made it really easy and stress-free to request more time. 10/10 would recommend.

It was a fantastic course with a really welcoming and wonderful community! Highly recommended! :)

It was quite challenging but interesting!

I really appreciate the step-by-step process of this course. I feel like learning and practicing in steps and then later on applying it into a project is really helpful. I also enjoy the organization of the program and feel adequate enough to know where to look for help and where to find references in order to support in my learning.
