I enjoyed this course very much, for someone new to coding, this workshop was fairly easy to follow. Each task allowed me to practice and advance my coding skills; the instructor did an amazing job explaining the content in a short but comprehensive way. Specifically, creating the weather app for the final project was a really fun challenge.
The weeks flew by! Can't wait to start my next coding workshop and learn more every day!

This is my second coding workshop with SheCodes and I would highly recommend signing up if you want to get into coding. Matt is a great teacher, breaking everything down into bitesize, easy to follow, understandable chunks. I have learnt so much and have loved building the weather app as the final project. I am very satisfied with the course. The material is really well suited for beginners. Theory and practice. Lessons are not long, they are short, laconic and interesting. Every lesson new challenges.

I never considered coding, I've been in the healthcare field for 8 years. Since COVID it's been tough, and I was at a point where I wanted to do something, but I wasn't sure what. I came across an ad on Facebook for SheCodes. I thought "why not check it out?". I originally believed it was all about math, but was I wrong. After the introduction session, I signed up right away with SheCodes Basics, just to get my foot in the door and see what it was all about. Matt made it easy to follow along with the videos and the fact that even though after you submit you are given the solution, there's no one way to solve it. Knowing this, it made it all the better to not feel as if there's only ONE right way to do something. I've genuinely enjoyed myself so far and considering going back to school to turn this into a possible career for myself!
I enjoyed doing the course, however, I didn't learn much. Before this course, I followed another one which was free and lasted one week. It was just a promotional course by a coding Bootcamp to show what kind of things they did in the school. I learned much more that week (and I haven't even finished it) than doing this structured and paid course. Many fundamental aspects are not explained, while some simple things are repeated multiple times. Moreover, the exercises weren't really challenging. I guess it's an okay start if you have zero experience, but the price is still too high for what they teach you. Nonetheless, I have to say that when I asked a question on the chat they answered very rapidly, so great work in that sense.
This course is amazing! I never imagined being Cuban that I would be able to study this career. Thanks to SheCodes and this course I have the doors open to continue learning and developing as a Web Developer. I highly recommend it and many thanks to Matt Delac for being such a good instructor.

I loved working on this project and the freedom to choose any topic we are passionate about. Ever since I remember, I have been inspired by creative people, those who seem to be thinking differently , those who bring fresh ideas in the world, while being immersed in the world. I think that this way of living is extremely interesting. I dedicated this project to some of the creative minds I have learned from to listen, see and think.

I would highly recommend this course to everyone. I was able to do this course being a mom of two, and with another baby on the way, which I gave birth to while I was taking this course. I learned so much and felt confident in my work and what I learned. I also felt proud to show family what I made while taking this course.

This workshop was a great step-by-step guide on beginner coding! I feel like I have learnt so much in less than 3 weeks - it's incredible. Of course there were moments where I felt overwhelmed, but those were moments. The support you get from your classmates really helped. I am very proud of myself, and I am looking forward to the next process on my journey to becoming an expert in front-end developing.

Great course.
When I started my coding journey six months ago, I knew close to nothing about this technical side of the product. Today I can honestly say I feel much more confident about my knowledge and ability to create and get my ideas running. Definitely will go further down this coding world!
Absolutely loved the Responsive course. I already did SheCodes Basic and Plus, and Responsive is my favorite one so far! Learning all the Bootsrap tricks, deploying the website to Github, transforming a Figma design into code, and improving overall coding skills really make this programming journey rewarding. I learned a lot and really enjoyed creating the Portfolio webpage, so much that I even created two: my personal portfolio page, and an artist page. The course is very well constructed β the instruction videos by Matt are concrete and easy to follow, and are a really clear explanation for the corresponding homework assignments. When getting stuck, it was really easy to reach out to tutors and get all the help I needed on Slack, a special thanks for that!
I am very glad to have experienced React with the help of the SheCodes team! and oh boy, it was challenging but it was fun! Quite excited now, to start building more apps and refer back to these lessons when I need to! Thank you again Matt and the SheCodes team!

SheCodes really helped me with learning how to code. The instructor did a good job implementing everything for a beginner's journey for HTML, CSS and Javascript. You will get discouraged, but luckily SheCodes has a great team to get you through. From the videos, to the Slack chatroom, to the customer service. I'm very confident and I'm ready for the other workshops.
Believe it or not, I was skeptical (at first). I did not envision this introductory coding workshop to be THIS fun! I really enjoyed it from beginning to end! 10/10! π Not only did they reinforce what were taught during the lessons, the weekly challenges and final project allowed for creativity, and actually motivated me to enjoy the coding experience even more! Slack was amazing as well! As someone with limited coding skills, these hands-on lessons gave me the confidence, now, coding in HTML/CSS/JavaScript and not scare me away! I am so relieved I have made it this far with this new found interest for coding. This workshop definitely challenged me and at times, I was not sure if I would be able to tough it out and push through. BUT Here I am and have successfully completed the SheCodes Plus workshop and will continue to push myself to accomplish the upcoming workshops ahead of me.
With this course I was able to get a grasp of all the things that can be done with basic HTML, CSS and Javascript. That alone is amazing!

I knew nothing about React, but I learned a lot from this. I went through the videos and built my site as we went. Then, I tried altering the source code from Matt and building it. I got awesome results and learned a ton both ways. I'd recommend building the app multiple times with different methods for the best results!
"She Codes" are the BEST, as they give an opportunity for development even to a mother with three children!!!!! You can stydy, watch the video at a time convenient for you and watch it as many times as you need to understand. I am grateful for this opportunity!!!
With no background knowledge of coding, I'm happy with how far I've come within these past 3 weeks. I now have basic knowledge about coding and can build a single-page website if need be all thanks to the Delac Foundation. I'm grateful to the Delac Foundation for this opportunity to learn to code. I started this course with zero knowledge of coding, but after completing the course I have developed a great interest in it! The lessons were interesting without being too long, and the homework element of the course meant I was constantly engaged with the material.
It was awesome, I loved the explanation and then the challenge! Besides just the challenge! It's also refreshing; you practice a lot to keep the knowledge. It also helped to show me that I love to code and coding isn't as scary as I thought. I gained some valuable skills here. I can't wait to learn more!

The SheCodes Responsive workshop is very well taught. The lessons are extremely easy to understand and everything is explained in detail, you could take your time in learning how to code and the SheCodes website has a lot of free material that you can use and take inspiration from.
A rather brilliant introduction to the coding basics. Matt doesn't bombard you with too much information, but instead focuses on the core foundations you need to know to make something simple but effective.

React is a real challenge. Currently, I'm not sure at all that I am able to create any react app without Matt's videos. However, I'm happy it's done. Maybe, after some time, I will feel better to try my force in SheCodes challenges. Good luck and patience to everybody!

SheCodes gave me the best introduction to coding. I think it can be difficult, especially when one small error can cause a piece of code to not run. Everyone should sign up, and the fact that it is affordable yet informative is amazing. I'm excited to keep going.
SheCodes gave me the confidence to enter my coding journey with *zero* experience. The lessons are comprehensive and aren't super long which makes it easy to knock out lessons and begin to implement what you've learned. I never saw coding as an "easy" thing to do, but SheCodes makes it incredibly accessible to everyone. So thankful I started this journey and can't wait to continue practicing what I've learned and continue to add my skillset!

This is a very good course for a beginner. The provided videos and resources are great for someone without previous background, although I would recommend to go for the available longer terms to go for a deeper dive into coding.

One of my favorite things about SheCodes, is the time and content management in sessions. the lessons just long enough to deliver the main idea; after which, you will be able to learn more by spending more time studying the extra references and examples, or keep going on with your current knowledge. The videos are short and sweet and to the point, but to the point and practical; so no more long boring tutorials, but also no more tutorials in which the instructor just doesnβt go through the important steps and leaves you with so many questions and Errors in your code. As someone with a full time job who is also pursuing a masterβs degree, I especially recommend SheCodes and itβs method/system of education to people who struggle to find the time for learning. Also, I already had some coding base, and having seen some other courses and methods, I believe that THIS can be a great place to start for the absolute beginners.

Hello, I think taking Shecode workshop was defiantly a great decision. At first I was a little hesitant because Iβm a busy mom of two toddlers. I spent about 1-2 hrs per day on the lessons. Matt is at amazing teacher he really breaks down each lesson for easy understanding. This workshop was 3 weeks long and it covered the fundamentals . I would defiantly take more shecodes workshops.
I enjoyed learning how to build a page from scratch. This experience was the best. I have a perfect understanding of how everything has a function.
