Suddenly, coding no longer felt like rocket science to me.
I just completed the weather app project from the SheCodes Plus workshop, and Iβm so excited about what Iβve learned! Before this, I didnβt have much experience with JavaScript, but now I understand how to work with real APIs, update the DOM, and build a working web application. Seeing the weather app come together was such a confidence boost.
This was a delightful challenge and I am hopeful for the future!

After completing SheCodes Basics, I was excited to go a step furtherβand the add-on did not disappoint! It gave me hands-on experience with more challenging coding tasks that pushed me out of my comfort zone. I learned how to build interactive web features using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. What I appreciated most was how the lessons were broken down into manageable videos, and the projects allowed me to apply what Iβd learned immediately. Before SheCodes, I never imagined Iβd be able to understand code, let alone write it confidently

Learning how to use grid layouts, animations, element manipulation, and theme switching has completely transformed the way I approach web design. Grids gave me the structure I needed to make clean, responsive layouts, while animations added life and interactivity to my pages. Being able to manipulate elements dynamically helped me create engaging user experiences, and theme changes gave my projects a professional, modern touch. These skills have boosted both my creativity and confidence as a developer.
This was another very useful and enjoyable course from SheCodes! I've gained more advanced Python skills, including manipulating and plotting data in various graph formats, understanding object-oriented programming (OOP) to create different custom classes, and effectively reading from and writing to files.
Good step by step instructions, and a helpful community, makes even the hardest challenges easy to overcome.
Great for absolute beginners. I have learned some great skills here that will help me further my own learning. Would be nice if the projects had some feedback though and not just 'it passes'. That would help with knowing what to do better etc.

This was fun! What puzzles me is just how Matt explains everything so clearly making it easy for one to follow and grasp each concept. I found the SheCodes basic add-on to be very helpful, and it has given me a lot of insight when it comes to the CSS styling.
I found Python basics relatively logical after my initial struggle with JavaScript. It's really nice to be able to spot the parallels between the two coding languages. Thanks to the patient breakdown of Pythons key words and functions from Matt, I think I've got a solid basis to build on now. Excited to see what else can be done with Python!

Absolutely enjoyed this introduction to HTML, CSS, and Javascript. The videos broke down the steps of each task/skill in a way that was easy to follow. I also liked having the visual examples of the within the lesson, so you could just copy and paste it. I also very much appreciated having the demos in the lesson to compare with my attempts. The way this workshop is set up, you have multiple tools and your disposal, which made it easy to grasp the concepts.
Working with JavaScript and Moment.js has significantly improved my ability to create dynamic, real-time applications. I gained hands-on experience with DOM manipulation, time formatting, and handling time zones across different regions. Using moment-timezone, I learned how to detect the userβs local time zone and update the interface in real time using setInterval. This experience strengthened my understanding of working with external libraries and writing clean, interactive, and responsive JavaScript code.

The SheCodes Responsive workshop has been my favorite workshop so far. Using all the skills Iβve learned to create my portfolio website in the final project was a huge accomplishment that makes me feel even more confident to transition into the tech world. I canβt wait to see what I build next, and Iβm so excited about whatβs ahead.
Dealing with AI through the front end is one thing, and dealing with AI through the back end is similar, but different... It's interesting to see how much we can do from a terminal! My creative/visual side really enjoyed the possibilities that libraries such as Rich and Markdown offer when we want to display information in a personalized way. It was challenging, but worth it.

With the addition of new concepts such as grids, CSS transform, and class manipulation, Add-on has been a great addition to my coding journey. One of the most valuable things Iβve learnt is how to improve the consistency of styling via the use of fraction units within grids to ensure that images displayed in a grid are of the same size and take up the same space. Being able to utilise the information that has been taught throughout the course within the Final Project has been a great way to apply my knowledge and learn how to rectify coding errors.
As someone completely new to coding, joining SheCodes has been an eye-opening and empowering experience. Iβve had the chance to explore HTML, CSS, and JavaScriptβand to actually build something real and personal, like my own photography-themed webpage!
