This was definitely a level-up from the basics course and I found it quite challenging to juggle the workload with a full-time job. However, by the end of it, I feel it has been very rewarding to be able to create a real, functional app. All the challenges and errors definitely improved my ability to debug and increased my overall comfort with coding. Onwards!
The workshops in SheCodes are easy to understand as someone who never even know about coding. The way Matt explain things are simple but in details which makes the learning experience all the better.
This has been a great opportunity to further the skills I learnt in the first 3 weeks!! so happy with my progress and excited for the workshops to come !!
In last few weeks, Matt and the SheCodes team taught me a lot of the necessary skills I would need if I decide to pursue freelance coding + design projects. I can now say that I have a good grasp of HTML, CSS, and Javascript. I'm so grateful for the opportunity SheCodes has given me!
I absolutly loved the classes. Having a lesson and right after a challenge really improved my learning process and I was able to putting in practice what I learned. I highly recommend and I look forward to enrol on the other Workshops in the future.
The SheCodes responsive course was amazing for those who want to learn about launching responsive websites. At the end of this course, you can build your own responsive website that looks good on mobile devices,too.

SheCodes is a really good course for beginners who wanted to learn about web development. Every exercises is helpful since programming is a hands on learning. I enjoyed my first weeks creating outputs and solution.
Very important course as I see sites failing on mobile devices every day. It was challenging at times but very useful.
Working on this add-on project has been really exciting and helped solidify my understanding of the foundational skills. So grateful for the opportunity to continue learning.

This has been such a great learning experience. I went from not knowing anything about coding, to producing my very own page. I wasn't sure I would enjoy this but I have had such a great time learning CSS, HTML and Javascript.

SheCodes Plus was a really fun course. I learned so much creating the weather application and really enjoyed being able to put my own creative spin on the project with all of the tools that I learned in the previous class.
It was easy to follow. I like that when I have any issue, someone in the shecode community was always willing to help me. It's great if you are starting and want to see if coding is for you. I loved that we actually have deadlines, that gave me a sense of getting it done quicker than with any other course.
My journey with coding under SheCodes has been smooth and challenging, I have to say the instructor Mat is gifted and covers topics in such a way that is easy to grasp and catch on to. I'm excited about the future!

I never thought I would learn React, let alone learn it so quickly, in just a few weeks. I am very pleasantly surprised with this workshop and I believe it was the perfect point of entry into the coding world for me, and it made me feel ready and confident to learn more and more.
I have enjoyed SheCodes Plus. Its been an interesting few weeks learning JavaScript, I struggled a little but took my time and got a better understanding of the topics. Looking forward to the next workshop.

This was a great experience! Coming from a point of not knowing anything about coding, it was nice to have everything presented in such a friendly approach. All the lessons were focused on only one or two steps, so I never felt overwhelmed. I was able to see that I too can learn how to code.
my journey at shecodes started on the 19th of June 2023, it has been amazing, the workshops are easy to understand and their team is very helpful, I am thankful and I have gained so much from shecodes. Now I just submitted my web siteπ, I never thought coding could be this fun.

For almost a few years now, I have been wanting to learn coding, but I have struggled to find the time and motivation to do so. Furthermore, I was unaware of any organized courses for self-learning, and I found the idea of coding to be burdensome and difficult. However, I was fortunate enough to discover SheCodes, which has completely transformed my perspective on coding. Matt Delac's teaching method is exceptional, and he makes coding seem both enjoyable and easy to learn. I am amazed at how much I now enjoy coding, something I never thought possible. Previously, I had viewed coding as dull and boring compared to the colorful world of design, but SheCodes has completely changed my mind. I can't wait to learn more!
Right off the bat you are creating real life practical projects. The teaching style is so simple that it truly empowers you to know that as a beginner you can do this!!

I enjoy how React is like putting a puzzle together. The ability to chunk and section the code into components makes it much easier to work through and process.

The Basics course was absolutely amazing. Matt explains everything in a clear and comprehensible way even for absolute beginners. I was hesitating if learning this quick was indeed possible, but my progress in the past week has been more than what I hoped for. The team on Slack as well as other women in the course are super helpful and that matters too, especially if you learn from scratch like me. Really well done!
