I enjoyed learning Coding for the first time,let me say it was not easy but it needs one to be eager to do challenges. Thank you to Matt for making it easy for us first time coders, in his videos he explains everything crystal clear.
Excellent course, really built upon the initial course, and things became a lot easier to work out. Using the SheCodes API options added an extra challenge as these weren't utilised in the videos, so being able to work this out for myself gave me great confidence. Well explained in all parts, and the final project was super fun to build, watching it all come together at the end.
A solid introduction to React, and lots of complex code to work through. Certainly a challenging course, some of the videos feel a bit out of date at times, but that's the nature of React, it's constantly evolving. Despite the complexity of the overall course, the material was explained well and was brought together with the project at the end.
SheCodes Basics offers a great introduction to coding, that's perfect for everyone who wants to get an idea of what coding is like. The bite-sized lessons make the content easily digestible and the challenges make sure you engage and actively try it out instead of just watching videos. I really enjoyed the process!

I really enjoyed the SheCodes basics workshop. I found the videos really easy to follow and liked the fact that I had a chance to do challenges after every lesson to help put into practice what I just learnt. I found JavaScript to be most interesting. In the end, I was able to create a simple landing page with ease thanks to this workshop. I would highly recommend it. I'm excited to see what's next.

Hi, my name is Inam. I recently finished my second workshop, which is Basics Add-On. This workshop provided me with how to manipulate HTML and CSS on JavaScript, also I learned how to make grids and also use button to change the background of the body. The workshop learning videos and challenges had good instruction and clear explanation.
This has been an amazing learning experience and I have enjoyed every single moment. The learning videos were simple and easy to understand. Whenever I was stuck or had questions regarding what I was learning Athena AI was very helpful and would help me understand better by giving me examples on how I should write the code. This was overall great and I cannot wait to learn more.
The course content is easier to grasp, and the videos are also easier to follow.
The Responsive workshop blew my mind away. As always, the videos were well-structured, engaging, and highly practical. I gained valuable insights into creating websites that are not only visually appealing but also adaptable across various devices. This was a tricky module for me, however I managed to make it to the finish line. As always Matt's videos were clear and informative. Whenever I had issues I was able to get them resolved quickly from a team member via slack. I enjoyed learning and making this app and looking forward to the next module.

I have always wanted to break into coding. I had heard about SheCodes a while back, but I was in the middle of another career transition then, so I gave up on trying. I decided that I wanted to give coding a try again this year. I was enrolled in another Bootcamp, but as someone with ADHD, the long bricks of text, and non-consistent help, in conjunction with the persistent reminders of deadlines made me nervous and kept me stuck. I took the SheCodes free class and found renewed confidence in my abilities. I IMMEDIATELY switched to SheCodes and have been moving full speed ahead since. The videos break things down into powerful bite-size lessons, but also I am immediately able to practice what I learned right after. I feel like I was always suppose to learn here at SheCodes. I will be continuing with the SheCodes Bootcamp next.

This has been the most enjoyable, challenging journey everπ, I have learned a lot and gained a lot of knowledge, it has not been easy but with the learning videos and instructions from Matt and the help of the Slack community π not forgetting the AI Anthena π it became less trouble I love the coding tools that I got to discover coding is fun and interesting and I still can not believe it that I have obtained my web development certificate ππππ, I am so thankful for this opportunity.
Matt's videos are really easy to follow and I like how he explores different options before choosing the cleanest code (and explaining why). I especially loved this project as it provided extra training in how to read and work from a Figma file.

At first the homeworks were very challenging but the tutorial videos were a great help, i really enjoyed shecodes plus and am really happy i got to learn some new things
Doing the SheCodes Basics Add-On has been wonderful. I had a few challenges when it came to understanding some of the codes but with the help of the videos, I was able to pull through and finish the project.
The Responsive Add-on was really interesting, I loved finally learning how to add an image background with text on top of it. A highlight was learning how to correctly input embeds to have instagram posts and working videos in my projects!
My experience with SheCodes was fantastic and straightforward. The timely reminders kept me organized, and the high-quality videos made learning enjoyable. The supportive team always responded promptly, and the vibrant Slack community offered an excellent network of peers. This environment made me feel comfortable, boosted my confidence, and gave me the freedom to ask any questions. Overall, SheCodes empowered me and made my coding journey truly enjoyable.
Responsive add-on was a rewarding challenge to help me gain more in-depth knowledge of CSS and HTML. Exploring how to design grids and cards and tables without bootstrap and make it responsive to mobile.I also enjoyed learning to embed music and videos onto webpages to add some extra sparkle to my website.
This was the most challenging project. I need to revisit it and re-do it again so I can try master it. I am thankful for the solution videos for coming through when they are needed the most. I want more people to do SheCodes course and happy coding.

If you are looking to learn the foundations of coding, I highly recommend taking this basics course. It is by far the best online course I have taken. I was so impressed with how much knowledge I gained in a short space of time, which I have already started to apply in my work. The videos were digestible and easy to follow, I particularly enjoyed the 'challenges' after each lesson which really helped to cement the learning throughout. Go for it!
This was my first experience with back-end coding, and now I'm hooked. Matt's videos walk you through the process, so you can see and understand why things work the way they do. More importantly, he demonstrates that even experienced coders sometimes need help, and how to find it when I needed it, helping build confidence that I could accomplish these tasks on my own.
This was a fun but challenging workshop. However, the step by step guide and explanations in the videos, as well as additional sheCodes resources, really helped me understand what I was doing. The team was helpful when help was needed to figure out any issues I was having, and I am happy with how my final project turned out.
SheCodes Basics was very fun to learn yet challenging at the same time, Matt explained every concept clearly in a simple way, what I loved most about this course is that the videos are short and they give us an opportunity to apply what we have learned as we go.
The React module was a HARD module! I almost got discouraged a few times but thankfully I stuck it through! The constant encouragement through the videos led me to understand that the difficulty was normal. The project in the end was worth the struggle haha
I've really enjoyed my time on SheCodes Basics as it's helped me revise the core elements of all three HTML, CSS and Javascript. The pace, information shared and the continued assurance from Matt during the videos has been great. Give it a go and you'll never know, you might just be good at coding and want to continue on through the programme, like me!

I found this an excellent way to motivate new learners like myself to gain coding skills; I have been struggling learning to code for years and I finally feel confident to start my own projects using what I have learned doing this course. The resources are handy and the videos are a good length; they are easy to follow and quite informative without being so long they become overwhelming. As a beginner, it took me a bit longer than the expected time to complete the SheCodes Basics workshop. However, Matt's videos are well explained and really helpful. Also, the response time for questions is very fast (Thank you Britni!). I can't believe how much I learned in a short period of time. Even though my passion is not coding, there will practical uses for it in my business moving forward.
Through this course I was able to learn things that are not learned in most courses, and the videos are well explained and not difficult to understand.
Thank you so much Matt for an excellent workshop!. HTML, CSS and Javascript were all very new to me. I found the second week the most challenging for sure. By taking time to rewatch the videos and reaching out on Slack, I started to understand a little, found support and then really enjoyed week 3.
Plus was a bit challenging but I had fun troubleshooting my JS when it wasn't working. The videos are easy to follow and a huge shout out to the SheCodes team on Slack for always responding to my questions and Athena AI for being my companion.

Learning React was much harder than everything else I learned in these workshops. The lessons were very structured and straightforward. I did need to go back and watch the videos twice just to make sure I was doing it right, but overall, a huge stepping stone into front-end development.
I am thrilled I continued my SheCodes journey to learn even more about coding! The videos are straightforward to follow, with homework challenges along the way to help you practice what you have learned. This was a difficult course, not going to lie. I definitely had to go back and watch Matt's teachings multiple times and also google was my friend (thanks Matt for saying Google is ok!). Like usual his videos were really well explained, and I'd recommend SheCodes for anyone wanting to give React and software dev a go.

It hasn't been easy combining shecodes with my full time job but im so glad of how flexible the system is and how comprehensive the videos are.
SheCodes is the easiest way to get started with coding. The way Matt teaches makes it very easy to follow along and I love how the information is presented in bite-sized videos, including a solution once a challenge has been submitted. This allowed to me learn and fully understand coding. Even though it was challenging at times, SheCodes made it fun!
Having just completed the Basics programme, I would highly recommend this to anyone starting out on their coding journey. After I finished SheCodes Basic I immediately started with SheCodes Plus. The combination of short teaching videos, followed by challenges during which you immediately apply the learnt material makes this so satisfying. The learning curve is steep and I will definitely go back and go through the material again! Additionally, I now have the confidence to apply for jobs that require to communicate with technical teams - that is a huge leap forward from where I was just a few weeks ago! 8 weeks of knowledge, not complaining at all. I have learned a lot about search engine, API integration(it was not easy but taking my time and replaying the videos until I got it right helped a lot, also not to forget help from the slack team as well) and so much more. It is crazy that I can now create a functioning forecast weather search app. Grateful for the opportunity to learn such skill at no cost.
Following SheCodes workshops is always a motivating journey for me. The hands-on projects are the best way to learn and immerse myself in coding. It makes me reproduce what the instructor showed in the short videos using my own ideas, but also find a lot of new solutions along the way and play around with my own coding. The learning curve is extremely fast and high!
I was nervous about self-paced education, but this was really helpful to me! I like that Matt gives examples in the videos but instructs to create our own design, so we can learn HTML, CSS, and JavaScript from our own experimentation.
This program has been easy to follow and understand; even for someone with minimal to no experience in coding. The videos were short and full of information, and completing homework assignments was easier with all the resources She Codes provides.
I found my SheCodes introduction to the basics journey very exceptional because you get to ask questions when you need help and Matt is very calm and makes sure that when he explains things you fully understand what is said through the videos. Joining was honestly the most amazing thing that could have happened for me, I learned new skills and my knowledge on coding has expanded Matt's teaching style was very short, to the point and very understandable , I barely had to rewind! The videos are in bite sizes for you to absorb it more and I honestly prefer it this way! If you prefer a mostly self-paced but also guided learning experience I Reccomend SheCodes!
I had so much fun with this workshop! I loved to experiment with various color schemes for the backgrounds and try to match everything to make it look pretty. The short videos were super helpful because they focused on one thing at a time, making everything easier to grasp. Can't wait to dive into more workshops!

This was an excellent starter course for people with no prior coding experience. The training videos are easy enough to follow along and comprehensive. I personally really enjoyed the repetitious coding challenges put in to place to make sure I understood what I had learned and to help retain information. Matt did an excellent job instructing in this workshop, keeping me engaged with lessons being short and to the point.
Very structured curricullum, with good videos, a good AI and very good support through Slack. I tried other programs online, but ended up getting frustrated. I did not get frustrated this time!

Awesome classes & more challenging, but when you really watch the videos and listen to Matt, it gets easier and more understandable. I throughly enjoyed learning about GitHub, APIs and JavaScript.
