I am happy that I decided to take this workshop, every week was challenging but it was satisfying to see how in the end it all came together. The instructional videos were very useful as I keep referring back to them and having access to the slack community helped me keep pushing forward whenever I was getting stuck on a homework problem. Looking forward to my next workshop!
SheCodes Plus was much challenging as compared to SheCodes Basic. Even then, the advantage of SheCodes courses is that we can re-watch the videos, and we are able to get great help from the SheCodes Team on the Slack channel, who answer our questions ever so patiently and promptly. It is also great that Matt will explain the rationale behind certain concepts and some good practices, rather than just step-by-step theory. It is a sense of achievement and joy when we see the codes work properly! Lastly, it is inspiring and fun to browse the projects of other students! Thank you SheCodes Team!

These three weeks have been exciting. I liked the way Matt Delac presents the material - easily and naturally. I also liked that the videos are short, with specific examples. Loved that at the end of every video Matt Delac wishes happy coding.All three weeks the lessons and challenges were interesting. Time passed with benefit and interest.

Very easy to understand videos with plenty of tips and tricks to help you figure things out on your own. It definitely came to together for me doing the project at the end of the three weeks.

I thoroughly enjoyed the Plus course and working on the final project - it really helped me to consolidate my knowledge of Javascript and built my confidence in my ability to code on my own! The Slack channels were really helpful for discussing problems and getting quick responses, and I also found it helped to be able to read through other people's questions and see their code. Being able to work on all the mini-challenges without worrying about failing or being assessed, but knowing there were solution videos accessible if I got stuck, also made a big difference to feeling like I was free to see how far I could get on my own and helped build my confidence in my own abilities.
Great balance between information given in videos and knowledge a student must find on her own. Greatly structured cheatsheets and good recommendations on sources to be used to fill in the gaps.
I truly love how the class were being conducted, even though the videos were pre-recorded but everything that was inside was very relatable. I love the challenges that were given too.
SheCodes has an awesome platform! It was so easy to follow along with the videos and the corresponding challenges. Having a solution video made me feel less anxious about not getting the full solution the first time. Highly recommend!
I enjoyed learning HTML, CSS, and JS in the SheCodes Basics course. The videos are short and straightforward making them easy to understand. Also, there are so many good projects for each lesson, which make learning more active.

Thank you so much for explaining everything so nicely. The videos were so interesting and didn't even realise when the video ended. The help from the slack team is commendable. I am so delighted that I joined SheCodes and is so amused at my metamorphosis. A girl with no prior experience could do so much in these three weeks. I must also mention the fact that it was do good to repeat things as otherwise the moment the laptop is closed new things gets disappeared from the brain. I really like this course. It is well structured and organized. It is divided into short videos with exercises to consolidate the material, which helps to learn it better. All subjects are explained simply and in detail that even people who have absolutely no experience in web development can easily understand what to do. This course was extremely fun to complete. The educational videos were easy to follow and with a good number of homework exercises to guarantee that we would put into practice everything that we were learning. This is a great way to learn how to code and I recommend to everyone. I watched all the videos of the class and passed 3 weeks as well, I did all the challenges and projects of the end of per section. I love codingπ so thank you SheCodes, also I suggested this workshop to my sister and her friend, because this workshop is very useful and conveyed information easily. I learned html, CSS and JavaScript in just 3 weeks.

I think this course is a great way to figure out if you want to dive deeper into this topic. I really enjoyed the provided videos for self-paced learning. The instructions were easy to follow.
Matt's tutorials are not only thorough, but they're well-organized so that they build off of each other. Week 1 was all excitement as I realized that the HTML I learned 20 years ago in high school had still been bouncing around in my skull somehow. Adding CSS on top of it was a piece of cake, and the course lays everything out for you one step at a time. Week 2 was all JavaScript, which was brand new to me. There were times I got tangled in my own code during a challenge, but I was never frustrated because it was so simple to go through that week's threads and see if anyone else had similar problems in the past. If so, there were always helpful students and teachers ready to give solutions and help work out the issue. I came here from trying to trudge through Coursera's Google IT certification courses, but I was really struggling and kind of worried that maybe I wasn't quite 'smart enough' for a new career tech or something. However, based on how easily I adapted and absorbed the SheCodes training, I think it's just the different approach Matt brings, which is more visual learning (since he has his code in the video right in front of you so that you can pause it and follow along in your own session of VSCode,) in addition to the small challenges at the end of each lesson, which helps you practice and cement the coding you just learned. Aside from the videos, there are all kinds of learning/coder aids, such as cheat-sheets, color palettes, and CSS generators. Fantastic program. I'm so glad I took a chance from the beginning and signed up for SheCodes Pro. I'm ready to rock the rest of this program and have an exciting, fulfilling career. FINALLY! Thank you, Matt!
I really love how easy to learn and how the videos were relatively short. It helped a lot in keeping my attention and motivation up. This is a great class for testing your interests and making coding seem less daunting. Would definitely recommend.
This was one of my favorite courses so far! I loved to be able to create and design my own portfolio to showcase the work I've done so far. I enjoyed playing around with the endless possibilities of Bootstrap and CSS to make my portfolio as responsive as possible. And as always, Matt was very clear and helpful in the videos. I look forward to learning React π€©!
It's really greet that most of the time is invested in coding rather than learning since the videos are really on point, also it gives you a chance to learn while coding too!!!
this is the third course I have completed and I can only say wonderful things! Matt teaches in an easy to understand way, the videos are very complete, the help when needed in Slack is always very good and anyone who hasn't taken any SheCodes course, MUST DO IT!!! I hope to have my first opportunity in the job market soon, as I already feel prepared by SheCodes.
Great and funny course! The videos were easy to follow. You can go at your own pace, and the challenges are significant to learn step by step. I had some knowledge of HTML but the Basics course helped me to put all the pieces together. Matt was reassuring and this didn't make me feel alone in my frustration. Plus, SheCodes has all the tools you need (the radio feature is awesome!)
I cannot understate how much I have learned in the past 8 weeks. There has been some moments of stress but the SheCodes team are so helpful and the videos so instructive that it is impossible to lose interest. Thank you for creating such an accessible program, i am so proud of all I have achieved so far and grateful for all the help i received from the SheCodes community.
I had zero experience with coding and it is all so much clearer to me now! There are some tough concepts to learn, but Matt does a great job explaining them. I also love that I can watch the videos as many times as I need. I am a teacher and will teach coding to my students this year now that I feel more comfortable helping my students if and when they get stuck with our own programs.
SheCodes Plus was a great experience. I really enjoyed the step-by-step videos showing how to make your code more functional and clear, as well as learning more about API and the GitHub workflow. I'm looking forward to taking the Pro and React courses next.
Thank you for another interesting and insightful journey through responsive web development! As the other two workshops I really enjoyed consolidating and refreshing my knowledge. It's very helpful to be able to go back to some videos in terms you forgot how to build something. I also believe the documentation is quite handy. As I have coded with RoR before I can't wait for the last one, React, which will probably be my favourite! (Frameworks π)
SheCodes helped me to fall in love with programming :) The biggest benefit of this course is that you can produce something after only 10 minutes of videos --> that really gives you extra zeal to go further and learn more.
Passing these courses is like a magic trip to creating web sites. Information is given in a clearest way. There's no boring lectures and practice not connecting to reality. We made real stunning projects. Working projects which could appear in google search very often. The most complicated things are explained in the easiest way. Mr Matt is very, very good at coaching! How could I live without his videos and teaching??!!!π I feel stronger and more acquainted in such a new professional line for me. SheCodes's changed my life and this is about me: "She Codes")))))
These past 3 weeks were truly incredible. I did not know anything about coding and I was able to learn so much step by step. The videos explained things very nicely and I never felt confused or uncertain. Practice and all is coming :)
The SheCodes Basics Workshop has made coding a fun and easy skill to learn! I appreciate all of the lessons (and videos) that were created for this workshop. All of the steps were very clear throughout the lessons in each week.
I always thought coding would never be something I would be able to do, until I found SheCodes! I learn through seeing and doing, so having videos of Matt explaining what he's doing step by step was a huge help! I can now add my projects to my UI/UX portfolio, and apply my new understanding of coding to my work with developers.
I honestly was not sure I would be able to learn coding. Ive watched videos on youtube just to be left feeling confused and defeated. This week after just 2 weeks of learning, I created my own webpage and I am so proud of myself.
Short concise videos, by a benevolent instructor. Recommend if you have time to absorb new material at a fast pace. He allows his students to think for themselves and use the search engine of their choice to become resourceful in finding their answers to their questions. I didn't need to use the Slack chat because everything was well explained underneath the lesson video or in the solutions. Thank you, good luck out there to everyone!

I have actually managed to create my own Weather App, fully functional and everything! Learning API calling and integration was the most fun of all. Matt's videos are so impressively thought through in that he helps you build code one piece at a time and make connections between functions in the same way the mind tries to see patterns. I loved the SheCodes Responsive Workshop. It was so fun to work with the project. The instructions and videos are really clear and I had no difficulties at all.
The course is well structured, so you'll start from baby-steps, but finish with a quite nice result :) Instructions are easy to follow and videos describe everything you need at the current stage. And if you stuck or want to clarify something, you won't wait for ages to get reply.
The most convenient and structured course I have taken. I really like that the videos are short and immediately practice. I definitely recommend.

SheCodes Plus pushed me to my limit and further! There were quite a few times where I wanted to give up but I went back and rewatched Matt's videos as many times as it took until the concept stuck and I could replicate or make changes on my own. Seeing my fully functioning weather app after only a few weeks of lessons and knowing I can add or change anything I want is such an amazing feeling! I can't wait to move onto Responsive and see what comes next.
At first, coding seemed very intimidating! But after the Basic SheCodes Workshop, I feel relaxed about continuing to learn coding. I enjoy the step-by-step videos and how the curriculum is set up weekly.

I have split feelings about reaching the end of my SheCodes journey! On one hand I am proud of my accomplishment but on the other hand I am sad that I have no more challenges to do! I have really enjoyed learning all about coding and in particular, React. The videos have been clear and very informative, I love Matt's style of teaching, and if I've ever had a problem the SheCodes team have been on hand to help and are so kind and supportive with it too . I have found my new passion and I'm so keen to continue with my own independent learning in the hopes of becoming a React Developer at some point. I will be keeping an eye on SheCodes and signing up to any future courses they create! Thank you so much for sparking my interest and opening up a whole new world for me. I really feel like it has changed my life and future prospects.

It was a great experience and gave me more than the fundamentals of coding. I feel like I still to change a few features and practice more JS to include other personalised features. The SheCodes Plus workshop is a great experience! I enjoyed building my own project and it was broken down in such a way that made it easy and enjoyable to follow. Even though some parts were difficult, such as learning how to integrate the API, the videos make it easy to follow along and understand.
Coding is so much fun! The Videos are well made, I loved the fact that you could change the speed and switch on the She Codes radio. Also the encouragement if a challenge takes a few trial-and-errors is good to hear. Thanks!

SheCodes Basics was an incredible program! I have always had an interest in coding, but never pursued it until now. The SheCodes workshops teach at a manageable pace and the content is clear to understand. As I am a visual learner I found the workshop videos easy to follow and engaging. I've attempted to learn to code from textbooks previously which proved near impossible for me! Thank you Matt for all the amazing content
Over the last 3 weeks I have learned so much about the foundations of HTML, CSS and JavaScript. The short videos with challenges right after allowed me to apply what I just learnt while moving at a pace that worked for me to let everything really sink in. I found coding very intimidating before, but now I'm excited to continue learning about more complex topics!

SheCodes Plus workshop is amazing. JavaScript can be intimidating however, Matt does a good job of explaining the logic of writing code. The videos are easy to follow. I would highly recommend.
I have really enjoyed the videos and how Matt explains things, it makes it easy to pick up and understand. I also really love that there are projects to do from scratch at the end of each week, and a final project at the end to put everything I have learned into action.
SheCodes Plus was definitely challenging but very informational when it came to the videos.
I like that I can work at my own pace, but there are homework/project deadlines for accountability, but can be extended if needed. Matt does a great job explaining his videos as he goes along. The support has been great with the sheCodes when you get stuck. I also like that after you submit your homework and projects there is a solution video to help you correct any mistakes or improve your work.
I am not sure how to express my gratitude for the quality that goes beyond the affordable price we paid for the SheCodes+ course. Videos are detailed, sources are available and an amazing reactive and helpful team available anytime on Slack to help you if you get stuck. I thinks this class is great for beginners, who never done coding before. But I would like videos a bit longer to explain some details a bit more. Still it is great if you are just starting, I never did coding before but now after finishing this class I know how to code as a beginner and I think now I will join a class for professionals and I hope I will be a pro one day.
To be honest, I didn't know what to expect when signing up for SheCodes. I had zero knowledge on coding and felt a bit intimidated by them. But by watching the videos, a complete newbie like me was able to understand. The workshops are clear and concise, so much so you just have to have determination to learn
This second course was definitely a challenge. I believe that to be successful, a student needs to get additional knowledge outside of the SheCodes course for assistance. There are some parts in the coding journey that can be confusing. That being said, I do recommend this course because it demands great dedication and demonstrates how coding is powerful. I love the training structure with its videos & challenges as well as the SheCodes team via Slack. The teachers are always available and answer questions very quickly.
