SheCodes Responsive was really challenging and fun. I have learnt so much and feel really equipped to build responsive websites going forward and I cannot wait to get an opportunity to use these skills. I am really grateful to Matt and the entire SheCodes team for the amazing support through out the workshop. I like how real Matt is, and does not necessarily want to perfect his videos. And reminds us at all times that a break is necessary whenever you feel frustrated and that it is all part of the job of a developer.
The genius of SheCodes for me is the pacing. I deeply appreciate that the instructional videos are brief, and that opportunities for any further exploration are open to the individual through the links within each lesson and through the respective cheatsheets. The additional tools developed by SheCodes, such as the palette tool also provide endless opportunities for experimentation. The sky--if there is one in one's explorations into the vast universe of coding--is the limit. π

I was initially skeptical about joining the SheCodes bootcamp, having tried various other coding courses in the past that were not straightforward and left me constantly filling gaps by watching YouTube videos on my own time. However, from the very start of the SheCodes degree program, Matt's explanations were clear and made the learning process much easier. I found that I barely had to use any external help, which was a refreshing change. The team were also incredibly responsive and helpful whenever I had general enquiries or issues with my work. Overall, I had an excellent experience with SheCodes and would highly recommend it to anyone looking to get into coding. The program was well-structured and easy to follow, and the support provided by the SheCodes team was second to none. SheCodes Basics is a very nice introduction to coding, nicely explained and easy to follow. I enjoyed very much learning with the videos of Matt and can't wait to start the next workshop!
The basics course seems to have been well structured into bite-sized, easy to understand and remember videos and challenges. I liked having the chance to summarize at the end of each week in the form of homework. I would say the course is busy-life friendly. I was relieved to have the chance to apply for extensions when life happened. Overall, I had a lot of fun finishing this course especially, the final project.
Thank you SheCodes and Matt Delac for this fun filled and engaging program. The concepts were really broken down into easy to understand concepts and the videos were really great and interesting. I especially enjoyed the challenge at the end of each video and the homework at the end of each week. This has been an amazing experience.
The SheCodes responsive course is great, but the add-on is a less desirable experience. The videos are easy to follow but not challenging enough. The course becomes repetitive. But learning is always present.
The videos being outdated made the final stages of connecting with the API more complex than it needed to be. I also feel like Week 4's homework solution could have been much better explained. Nevertheless, I still enjoyed this course and appreciated the assistance on Slack - thank you kindly for that!
Just finished the SheCodes Basics.. looking to upgrade to the next level or maybe more! I didn't think I would ever understand or be able to code, but the short and easy to follow videos meant that I could go back and watch again, without having to watch an hour long video to find what I was looking for. I really enjoyed it, and was very proud to show my completed project at the end of the course.
Matt made learning very easy and enjoyable. The videos were short with relevant information which made it easy to finish them and perform challenges. All in all I loved the program and I'm ready for the next workshop!
I recommend this workshop to anyoneβespecially designers like me who want to code their design. I think classes are very well structured, with videos and resources and good examples of digesting. Also, help is always there to ask questions and debug the code. This was a super helpful course to me, but now I am curious about what comes next :)
The videos break down the steps in such a logical way thats easy to follow. Athena AI could quickly answer any technical questions that could have taken hours looking for on Google or waiting for replies in Slack (although Slack help was also pretty quick!) I feel like I'm not intimidated by coding anymore and am interested to learn more and apply my new skills! π€©

You can do things at your own pace and always go back to watch videos if you need a refresher. You also get support from other students if you need help at any moment.
It was incredible to understand how the APIs work and how to apply them in Js, all the videos were very well explained and the final project was perfect for this level of study.
The course was really intensive, I liked the videos. They were well explained and very challenging. I would love to do them again :)
Really enjoyed this workshop! The videos were easy to understand and when I got stuck, searching Slack or posting a question helped clarify any issues I was having.
I really enjoyed this course and the way it was taught. All the information was broken down into very digestible videos that were easy to follow, and we were provided with lots of of resources and ways to get in contact if there were things you didn't understand. This course really highlighted the scope for creativity, both in the extent to which you can personalise the design of a webpage, and also in the ways you can combine code to create really interesting functions. Overall, this course was very engaging, and I would really recommend it to anyone looking to broaden their skillset, or just looking for a new challenge!
I must say i really enjoyed the Shecodes basic class as a beginner with no idea of what coding is actually all about. The challenges and homework made it much easier for me to understand the 'learn videos' and most importantly the opportunity of learning at my own convience and pace made it much more easier for me as a beginner. After being totally mesmerised by the free one-hour introduction session by Matt, which I curiously signed up for, I am SO glad that I took the leap and enrolled in the SheCodes Basics course. It has ignited an excitement in me for the future of my career that I haven't felt in a long time! The course is also laid out and presented in an incredible way; super informative but also succinct and not overloading at all, and with me being a visual learner, I feel like I was really able to absorb everything that was demonstrated in the tutorial videos. SheCodes Basic was an excellent experience for me. Very clear explanation step by step. Later videos also repeat things explained earlier. This ensures that you don't forget certain important things. It is also easy to follow with the examples next to it. It was also very nice that you can reschedule the deadline of your projects. This allows you to get to everything at a quiet time and learn everything really well without getting stressed about the upcoming deadline.
Great job! I'm really very happy to be in this project. Colossal work has been done on each lesson. As a result, high-quality videos are obtained, which are easy and pleasant to learn from!
As a homeschool mom of 2 I wasn't sure if I would have the time to try to learn to code. I've been out of college and the workforce for a few years now and I looked at a handful of possible bootcamps to try. I'm so glad I went with SheCodes. Not only is it perfect for people who need to do lessons at random, odd hours, but the content is great and easy to understand. Matt is seriously the best instructor I've come across so far in this field. I've done a few self learning courses and youtube tutorials and other things but learning from Matt's videos have definitely been the best experience I've had in the last 2 years of me trying to decide if I wanted to do this or not. It's really great to be able to do this around my schedule and to learn in short, user friendly lessons with fun projects. I highly recommend SheCodes.
I never thought I would be able to write a line of code and make it functional, but SheCodes made me believe. I loved the experience, the videos in each lesson are very enlightening and the practice exercises are great. They are not exact copies of the examples given in the lessons, which makes it all the better to practice. Step by step, Matt makes you able to build something. There were many tough moments when trying to figure out how to code certain parts of this project but I was able to complete this project thanks to Matt's clear instructional videos, the She Codes Slack community and even Athena-SheCodes'own AI assistant.
SheCodes Basic has been fun to learn! I really like that we are able to learn at our own pace. The lessons are explained well and it's great that we can rewatch the videos at any time. The challenges, homework assignments, and project have made me think but they've also been fun. I'm looking forward to moving on to the next set of Workshops!

I absolutely enjoyed the workshop. The structure of the SheCodes workshops makes it easier to learn and understand/retain the information you're learning. The short lesson videos also helped me not to feel overwhelmed, thus making the workshop as a whole quite enjoyable.
I took the SheCodes Basics course during my spring break because I'm thinking of a career change, and thought this would be a good way to see if coding is something I'd like. The class was affordable, and I ended up really liking it! The videos were easy to understand, and I am considering saving up for the other classes.

Great course. Explains everything and is to the point. Not super long videos so it's easy to follow along and get straight onto hands on work. Definitely moving onto the other courses.
This workshop was very hands-on by putting all these skills we've learned into making a portfolio that can be used professionally. At this point, I feel very confident creating this portfolio on my own and not needing as much guidance. It's been a lot of work, but very satisfying figuring things out more independently while still knowing I had support when I got stuck. The videos are always very clear and helpful. I even feel more confident looking things up on my own through google and other resources.

I was honestly really scared to start with this course. Once I started, it felt... easy! The videos, the community and the instructions were easy to follow but also challenging enough to make you pause and think. The feeling of achievement at the end is AMAZING!
I learned coding at university but it was too hard for me. And now I wanted to get back to it, and this was amazing program to do so! I could take it slowly or faster, and I could understand everything! I could get back to videos or ask in group chat if I didn't understand everything! It's great program, it's great workshop and it's amazing team!π₯³

The videos were informative and easy to follow and you could ask a member of the team for support or even another user. I work for a tech company and I often sit in meetings with developers and often have no clue of what they're talking about so this course has made it easier for me to support clients and better engage with my colleagues.

Working with many files, an area where I had previously struggled, was one of the highlights for me. Also, Matt deserves praise for his superb teaching abilities. When I signed in on SheCodes, I knew nothing about coding but I've learned more than I expected and I was very surprised of the skills I aqcuired at the end of those past three weeks. I usually don't like online courses but surprisingly, I enjoyed watching the videos and doing the different challenges. Matt explains everything well and the fact that I could extend the deadlines is helpfull and stress releaving. I had a really fun time learning with SheCodes and I highly recommend.
I recommend it to whoever has a basic knowledge of web design and wants to improve it. The videos and mateials are excellent. Throughout the course, you work on different aspects of your final project (Weather app) and that is what made SheCodes Plus special for me.
This workshop was challenging in a fun way and pushes you to learn extensively throughout the explanative videos. While I still do not 100% understand all of the Javascript and function creations have done throughout the project, it was an extremely rewarding feeling following the SheCodes API and putting in the correct conditions. I'm glad it was broken down into multi-week portions as it was HEFTY. I am grateful for the experience and have a project I can look back on and go "Oh yeah we did this here" and I get to dissect it even further while going deeper into learning code. It makes me appreciate the individuals who do this for a living. Hopefully, I too will get to the point where everything "just clicks" as it does for Matt Delac in his informative videos!
