I learned loads, I still cannot believe I have created a fully functional app all by myself!!! I was worried the online course would not be sufficient or lack support, but I am pleased to confirm this was not at all the case. The videos/tutorials are very clear and I am very thankful to Matt and the team (overall JoΓ£o) for all the assistance throughout the course!! Highly recommend it for anyone who desires to start coding.
I have looooved this course! I have always wanted to learn to code and done so many courses but just didn't get it or wasn't engaged. This is super engaging, allowing you to code from the first lesson and with an amazing support system of the team and fellow students. Honestly so chuffed with what I've learnt. The SheCodes Plus course has no doubt been challenging, however building on the skills I learned in the SheCodes Workshop to make a functioning weather site is an incredible feeling. The team on Slack are very helpful, and SheCodes have been very accomodating to me as I started a job half way through the programme! Would recommend this course to anyone who wishes to stretch their brain, whilst being able to build a project from scratch.

For me the main struggle has always been to finish those online courses that I was constantly purchasing. Unlike most of other programs, SheCodes workshop is designed the way that it super easy to follow and to get back on track if you fall behind. Never in a million years did I think that I would enjoy coding so much! Matt and the team made everything so easy to understand and help was always on hand over on Slack if ever I got into a jam. The challenges were so much fun and I loved creating my own page from scratch for the final project. As a graphic designer I am always asked by clients if I can create web pages and I am so happy that I can finally add coding to my skill set. I would 100% recommend this course to any ladies looking to gain some working knowledge about coding.

SheCodes React is a great course to take if you want to learn even more about coding and make your CV stand out from the crowd! I can't believe I have finished already! Learning to code at SheCodes was such an amazing ride. It is kinda crazy to see this creative project be born from all the hard work and time that you put into developing it. The thing that I liked about the React course specifically is that it is constantly challenging you and your knowledge. It can be frustrating and rewarding at the same time. Lexi has also been great by responding quickly and checking in to see how things are going. I highly recommend these workshops to everyone. I'm a little sad the learning here has come to an end.

After I had to leave my old team in Manchester, I searched for new inspiration to improve my Web Design skills and work more towards Front End Development. I really like the way the course has been built and how Matt is explaining everything is very engaging (I won't forget anymore to press the button on the coffee machine, ha!). SheCodes is the best! I began as a novice with the intro to coding class and quickly fell in love with coding through Matt's easy-to-follow videos and Joao's helpful support on challenges and homework. After graduating from the intro workshop, I immediately enrolled in SheCodes Plus and then SheCodes React. Improving my coding literacy and building the weather app project from scratch has been such an empowering experience. Changing careers could be daunting, but SheCodes has helped me to gain the confidence to switch gears towards tech. I intend to be a Full-Stack UX Designer someday. I loved the SheCodes Workshop! Great course structure. Matt is a balanced instructor, very thorough, but not too much. Each challenge had a solution demonstrated. The slack team was very helpful. You are not only taught to code but how to find the answers to your questions online and there's a slack team to help you with everything. My final workshop with SheCodes and I am so sad it's over! SheCodes has been so fun to help me learn and develop my skills as a designer while managing to still take complex concepts and break them into bite-size videos. When I first started this course I didn't know how much I would love coding and now on my last course of the React course, I feel so knowledgeable and ready to continue my coding journey outside of these lessons. Thank you to Matt, JoΓ£o and all the SheCodes team for all their help throughout this journey.
I wasn't sure what to expect when I started the workshop. I had heard about SheCodes before and read some great reviews, but didn't think it would be something that particularly interested me. But I was so very wrong! It has introduced me to a world that I didn't know I would enjoy so much. The classes are delivered in nice bite-size chunks and it's so easy to follow along. The challenges are perfect for testing yourself and putting what you've learnt into practice. Thank you to Matt and the SheCodes team!
SheCodes has changed my perspective on coding! I would DEFINITELY recommend this course if you are curious about coding. I am very grateful for Matt who is an amazing instructor and the SheCodes team for their technical support. Each lesson is designed perfectly - the challenges were fun (not easy) and I loved that it gave me room to self-learn.

After participating in the "SheCodes Workshop", I became eager to learn more about coding, a world I had never stepped into before, which is why I decided to do the "SheCodes Plus" courses. The classes are well structured and easy to follow! The information is provided progressively, so you don't feel overwhelmed. Also, Matt shares plenty of tools, tips and tricks that will help you better understand how things work! As per usual, I'm also very thankful for the team and all the volunteers, who were always very kind and helpful, and for our slack community, ;)! Lexi and Joao, you guys are incredible! I enjoyed the learning process, and I'm motivated to keep improving and evolving :)

I have always found the world of front-end development as extremely exciting but never really knew where to start, that is until I bumped upon SheCodes. I felt really intrigued to know more about coding and these workshops seemed to be perfect. And I couldn't have been more right! I just finished the first 3 weeks and I loved it. The content is superb and the team is so friendly and helpful. Cannot wait to learn more!

SheCodes has really shown me that coding is not as intimidating or scary as it may appear. The amount of knowledge and information you are getting is worth the time and effort spent. This workshop has taken me from a complete beginner, with no coding experience to being able to code my own landing page (with JavaScript enabled user interactivity). All in the space of 3 weeks! Very happy with what I have learned so far and looking forward to getting all the way through to SheCodes React. The guidance from the tutorials and interactiveness of the challenges cater well to my learning style. Thanks to all the SheCodes Team, especially Matt for his amazing teaching skills.
