Matt breaks down coding in a non-intimidating way through bite-size lessons. The team is accommodating and there to help, as well!

The way I've always felt about coding would be the same as trying to catch a moving train: a rush of information in constant change and many different languages to make your choice of learning extremely overwhelming. The way SheCodes is structured makes the train move in a slower-but-steady pace, so you can learn on your own time how to code and feel confident that you too can become a coder. Amidst all of this, I'd say the best part about the workshop is the Slack community that helps you through doubts and mistakes you couldn't catch yourself. The members are extremely nice and helpful which made me feel like my questions weren't too basic or simple. Thank you SheCodes team and members for the wonderful learning experience!

Knowing nothing about coding, I decided to try SheCodes Workshop. Everything is 100% remote. SheCodes Team gives all the necessary knowledge and provides great support on Slack! I highly recommend learning more with SheCodes. 😉

This was a fun way to learn the basic's to html, css and Javascript. The support team was very fast with helping you figure out your code and bugs. I would highly recommend if you're curious about coding.

SheCodes Plus was an amazing and challenging course. In just 2 months I have learned more advanced HTML, CSS and JavaScript (comparing to what I knew from a previous course) and add up some more skills - like working with API, GitHub, Bootstrap and Hosting. The whole SheCodes team in the front with Matt was incredibly helpful and motivational. The whole course is made so unbelievable well that even though you might have tons of work or school, you still will happily watch all the videos, do all the challenges and basically spend 8+ hours each week learning to code. And luckily, you will see the results! I highly recommend this course to anyone who thinks that coding might be something interesting for her. I am definitely going to do the next course React and silently hoping that SheCodes will make some more courses.

I had no doubts about taking SheCodes Plus once I finished the initial workshop because of how much I enjoyed the learning process and I am glad I did! The class is super organized and extremely well thought out. The step by step structure allows you to learn efficiently - the class is challenging but not overwhelming because of how well it's set up. I wouldn’t recommend the workshop to people who already been through computer science class especially React. On the other hand I highly recommend this workshop for people who want to learn React or take their first steps into programming / development. I had fun during this workshop, it was nice to challenge myself and to try new things, as well as to improve my knowledge. The team is always ready to support you, even with problems that I had created myself by creating the project differently than requested, because I wanted to challenge myself a bit more. Coding is something I never though I would want to learn, but after l attended Mat's Webinar, I was introduced to a whole new world, and I wanted to know more! I am so glad I took the plunge. Working in Growth Marketing this workshop was very useful to me as it enables me to understand websites better and perform simple coding tasks, such as adopting email and landing page templates in our CRM myself without the need to ask our Dev team for even minor changes. Man... what a wonderful journey! Learning with Matt and his team was the best choice and investment of my time and efforts in 2020. I’m so happy that I 3 weeks ago decided to take courses at SheCodes. I tried some different online coding courses before, but it didn’t work for me, I spend a lot of time, but by the end I could not code by myself. Look at me now, just 3 weeks at SheCode and I already can code my own webpage. A friend of mine suggested me this web coding course and I thought it was a great idea! I was quite enthusiast about learning how websites and pages are structured and work. At first, I admit that I was afraid of not being able to follow the lessons and do the exercises, but the course is well-structured and everything is explained clearly. The most fun thing is that you can immediately see what you are creating and I think that's amazing. Almost like having a magic wand. I loved the SheCodes+ course and working on my finale project. It was intense, and some challenges can be difficult, but Matt explains things super clearly and makes learning very fun. The team is so nice, and available to help. I liked that there is also a bit of interaction on Slack with other students. I've succeeded to complete the course while working full-time and being pregnant, and I'm not sure I could have done it with a different course. I'm really grateful for this opportunity, and looking forward to learn more about coding.

I had a wonderful time during the workshop. I'm a graduate student in Plant Biology, and I was looking for expanding my skillset during the quarantine. I've improved my coding skills beyond my wildest dreams! Even though parts of the course have been quite difficult, the weeks have really flown by. The support provided by the SheCodes team (Matt, João & Lexi) has been awesome and there's always a friendly helper to lend a hand. I'm so glad I decided to take the plunge and deep-sea dive into the unknown world of coding, as It's opened my eyes to potential career opportunities for the future.

Although at times I felt like beating my head against a wall, once the lessons clicked, I experienced many "Halleluja!" moments. So worth it in the end! Even though it was only a 3 week course, I feel like I really accomplished something, and that I've left with the foundations to continue on my coding journey. SheCodes is a great platform in learning how to code. The lessons were easy to follow while the challenges helped you to break down the steps to practice and fully understand the concepts. The projects reflected the concepts taught in the lessons but also gave you the freedom to be creative and make it your own. SheCodes is so much more than a learning platform. The Career Handbook is helping me to decide the next steps to take after graduating the bootcamp and continuing my coding journey. They also have SheCodes Radio that plays different music depending on your mood to code to. The SheCodes team has been so helpful and supportive as well. Best of all, I will still have access to the lessons and amenities to enjoy and refer back to. THANK YOU SheCodes! 🙏

During the pandemic, I thought about a change of career and decided to give it a go at coding. Obviously, it's natural to be skeptical about anything you buy online. This program was exactly what I was searching for to kick start my new carrier. The workshop is fantastic and very well structured also provides good examples. In just 3 weeks I have learned so much. I would highly recommend SheCodes, there is a great team ready to help if you get stuck with a challenge. I can not wait to start the advanced course soon.

I loved the React course and have learnt a huge amount!
