This is a great course for anyone wanting to boost some extra skills and looking to get into coding! Plus took what I had learned in the Introduction to Coding workshop and continued to build on developing knowledge while adding new stuff along the way, leading to a final project I am really proud of! The SheCodes team is amazing and so responsive with any questions, it is great to know that if I have any problems there is always someone willing to help. Looking forward to the next workshop!

I joined the free class and I loved it! It seemed to be built in a more accessible way than other programs. I found that I was able to truly gain a solid coding foundation with SheCodes! Mattβs instruction had documentation, videos and we had all the support needed by using Slack where we could get all of our questions answered. If I had to go back in time and the opportunity to choose from a course to learn to code I would not hesitate in choosing SheCodes again. Both Matt and the team deserve recognition for their great work in creating this course!
I cannot recommend SheCodes enough! I had been on the fence for over a year about whether or not I wanted to give coding a try, but with every other program I either could not work it into my budget, or it simply didn't feel like the right fit. Then SheCodes falls into my lap! Matt is a wonderful teacher, and I had so much fun with this particular format of learning and community, and it finally gave me back some confidence as I committed to challenging myself and learning this new skill set. I consider myself primarily right-brained, with no major natural inclination towards the technical and analytical, and this felt really stimulating and satisfying for me. If you are a creative, do not let coding scare you off! There's room for absolutely anyone who's curious enough to try it. I can't wait to jump into either SheCodes Plus or SheCodes Plus React asap! The SheCodes Workshop is a great course for absolute beginners. There is a challenge after each lesson which helps a lot to practically learn what you've just heard/seen. Matt explains everything in a very simple easy to understand way. The support team is amazing too! You can ask anything and there is always someone to help you!

I had always been interested in coding but was worried it was too complicated and would be impossible to learn. After taking the SheCodes Introduction to Coding workshop, I decided to take SheCodes Plus to expand on the basics I'd already learned. This course was a lot more challenging (as expected), but also very rewarding. I was able to build a fully-functioning weather application that I was very happy with and even started delving into more advanced concepts to get the forecasting functionality to work. I am now considering taking the SheCodes Plus React course, and will definitely be continuing my coding journey. If you're in doubt as to whether or not this is for you, I'd say just give it a try - you might surprise yourself! Matt is a great teacher and presents everything clearly and in a logical way. Great program for total coding beginners like me. I enjoyed every moment of this course. Everything is explained step by step in a very clear and accessible way. The great thing is that you can learn when it is convenient for you. And when needed, help from Matt and the SheCodes team is very quick. Before, I never thought that coding could be so much fun and addictive. ;) I would definitely recommend SheCodes.
I'd learned the fundamentals of HTML & CSS previously, but was beginning to find it difficult to start putting it to proper practice. The workshop was a great refresher and helped me consolidate what I'd already learned, with the added bonus of breaking into JavaScript as well! With this workshop you learn how to code in HTML, CSS & JavaScript and you also learn to think as a programmer. I fully enjoyed this workshop. Matt Delac is an ampathy and well-organised teacher. He knows how to teach those who have zero knowledge about coding. I really enjoy his step by step lessons. To hit each challences is also good motivated. I feel so pround of myself! All credit to Matt. The team at the slack program also help me feel warm welcome and sure that I always have support from them whenever I needed.
It was a very difficult and challenging time, but the SheCodes Plus Workshop course pushed me more than ever before to keep going and to not give up in my coding journey. In several weeks I was able to learn so much more about vanilla JavaScript with the supportive team at SheCodes than I could ever have done learning just by myself. Even though my final weather app project is quite basic, I tried my hardest and best with what I could manage now, and again I'm so very glad and thankful I didn't give up. I especially love the fact that we will always have access to course materials, videos, and the Slack group even after graduating the workshop, so I am going to look over the course again and again to solidify my knowledge. I look forward to improving my skills greatly in the next workshop (SheCodes Plus React)!

Learning React has been incredibly challenging, but the way the course is broken down into small sections really helped with putting all the pieces together. I learnt new techniques whilst using all the other skills I learnt from the SheCodes workshop and SheCodes Plus which meant I was constantly putting everything I learnt to use. There's also always help when you need it which has been great whenever I didn't understand anything! I've loved doing this entire course over the last few months and would like to thank the SheCodes team :)

I joined SheCodes because I wanted to gain a new skill during the pandemic. After submitting my final project, I felt I actually know how to code. It was really helpful that I could get answer within 12h on Slack whenever I got stuck. Also I really enjoyed the feeling that I'm part of the diverse and aspiring women community! There're so many women learning to code and combining it with the skills/careers they already have. It's been a challenging but satisfying learning experience for me. SheCodes online school has been a great experience, I am really glad to have taken the first step and enrolled and worked really hard on my lessons-I was not expecting that I will like coding this much π. This was so fun! I was able to apply everything that I have learning during the first workshop, plus other new features that will definetly be very useful! During the classes I was able to use tools and procedures that are applied in "the real world". It is great to gain the basic skills of coding in such a short time. Thanks to the great support of the SheCodes team you can solve quite every problem. It needs patience to learn and also to excersice a lot so that you can improve your skills, but it's worth every minute! I'm glad that I took those lessons and got a deeper insight in to this world. When I saw about the sheCodes workshop, I've decided to sign up in their account and that was the time when I've watched Matt Delac's video. I was so amazed on how he explained everything and I felt that I absolutely want to try. Luckily, I have a background in programming, so I've chosen to enroll in sheCodes. I have no regrets at all! During the course I've learned HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Editor, API, Github, Bootstrap and Hosting. Coding will test your patience, but they are really well organized in excellent content of projects with time frame. By following the course, I was able to learn and build on the concepts with minimal frustrations. They prepared people to carry out skills in the actual world. I am very much confident enough with my accomplishments in coding, thanks to sheCodes team.
Learning to code in a couple of months was not easy but I definitely enjoyed every single moment of it. I can't believe I went from not knowing how to use Visual Studio Code to coding an interactive, real-life weather app. Thanks to Matt and his teaching team! They are amazing! I knew I could ask them any questions whenever I bumped into issues while coding.

This course covered way more than I expected! I'm a freelance UX Designer and often working with dev teams. Being able to speak and understand the language is already proving to be helpful for me in my work!

I enjoyed this workshop so much! I hold a PhD in Neurobiology and I was an absolute beginner before starting this workshop. I thought my brain won't be able to get how to code. I am truly amazed how quick we learnt and what we are already able to do! True, we still have a lot to learn (so google will be your best friend for a while :D ) but it is also so addictive. I am definitely going to continue with SheCodes Plus, I am so excited!! I love your approach, it is totally fitting how I like to work and learn: the deadlines, the interactions on Slack, everything is so well-organised! I have already recommended it to my friends. I'm so glad I chose SheCodes to start off my coding learning! Even though I started with no knowledge in coding and it's only been three weeks, I feel like I've learned so much (especially with all the trial and errors haha) The layout of the workshop is very organized and easy to follow along with each lesson! If I ever felt stuck and confused, Slack really helped me out. Thank you to Matt Delac and the whole SheCodes team for this amazing experience. Excited to move on to the next workshop! π
I highly recommend SheCodes for beginners. The course is very interesting, easy to understand, and practical, especially the instructor, Matt, who has a great teaching method. I totally had no idea about coding before the SheCodes Workshop. However, after the course, I have gained a basic foundation in writing code for a website. The final project is perhaps the first and simple code version that I have ever written by myself; however, it is something that inspires me and pushes me to continue my coding jorney.
