It was a very difficult and challenging time, but the SheCodes Plus Workshop course pushed me more than ever before to keep going and to not give up in my coding journey. In several weeks I was able to learn so much more about vanilla JavaScript with the supportive team at SheCodes than I could ever have done learning just by myself. Even though my final weather app project is quite basic, I tried my hardest and best with what I could manage now, and again I'm so very glad and thankful I didn't give up. I especially love the fact that we will always have access to course materials, videos, and the Slack group even after graduating the workshop, so I am going to look over the course again and again to solidify my knowledge. I look forward to improving my skills greatly in the next workshop (SheCodes Plus React)!

Learning React has been incredibly challenging, but the way the course is broken down into small sections really helped with putting all the pieces together. I learnt new techniques whilst using all the other skills I learnt from the SheCodes workshop and SheCodes Plus which meant I was constantly putting everything I learnt to use. There's also always help when you need it which has been great whenever I didn't understand anything! I joined SheCodes because I wanted to gain a new skill during the pandemic. After submitting my final project, I felt I actually know how to code. It was really helpful that I could get answer within 12h on Slack whenever I got stuck. Also I really enjoyed the feeling that I'm part of the diverse and aspiring women community! There're so many women learning to code and combining it with the skills/careers they already have. It's been a challenging but satisfying learning experience for me. This was so fun! I was able to apply everything that I have learning during the first workshop, plus other new features that will definetly be very useful! It is great to gain the basic skills of coding in such a short time. Thanks to the great support of the SheCodes team you can solve quite every problem. When I saw about the sheCodes workshop, I've decided to sign up in their account and that was the time when I've watched Matt Delac's video. I was so amazed on how he explained everything and I felt that I absolutely want to try. Luckily, I have a background in programming, so I've chosen to enroll in sheCodes. I have no regrets at all! During the course I've learned HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Editor, API, Github, Bootstrap and Hosting. Coding will test your patience, but they are really well organized in excellent content of projects with time frame. By following the course, I was able to learn and build on the concepts with minimal frustrations. They prepared people to carry out skills in the actual world. I am very much confident enough with my accomplishments in coding, thanks to sheCodes team.
Learning to code in a couple of months was not easy but I definitely enjoyed every single moment of it. I can't believe I went from not knowing how to use Visual Studio Code to coding an interactive, real-life weather app. Thanks to Matt and his teaching team! They are amazing! I enjoyed this workshop so much! I hold a PhD in Neurobiology and I was an absolute beginner before starting this workshop. I thought my brain won't be able to get how to code. I am truly amazed how quick we learnt and what we are already able to do! True, we still have a lot to learn (so google will be your best friend for a while :D ) but it is also so addictive. I am definitely going to continue with SheCodes Plus, I am so excited!! I love your approach, it is totally fitting how I like to work and learn: the deadlines, the interactions on Slack, everything is so well-organised! I have already recommended it to my friends. It has been really fun seeing how quickly I was able to pick up coding! Within 3 weeks I have learned a whole new language and code no longer seems like gibberish. The course and it's curriculum are set up in such an intuitive way which have surpassed my expectations. The best part about it is that I can learn on the go (and in multiple time zones) since the classes are pre-recorded, but every week's due date keeps me accountable with my progress. If the year 2020 taught me something that's that we need to be the ones with the control over our lives. So I googled a lot for some basic programing courses, until I found out about SheCodes. Matt is a very good teacher, his way of explaining is very simple and easy for a total beginner as me, and the support team is excellent, with very fast responses. All together I am very satisfied with the SheCode courses, and will be coming back for SheCodes Plus or SheCodes Plus React definitely.

Highly recommend all three workshops with SheCodes! I do wish React was longer and it would be nice to have a different project from the weather app in SheCodes Plus, though I do appreciate seeing how to take a vanilla js project and build it through React. The SheCodes team is extremely helpful and I enjoyed being part of the community on Slack. After completing all three workshops, I believe more education is needed before applying to any junior development roles, but this is an amazing start and provides a lot of resources and knowledge to get you started in software development!

That was quite a ride! Right off the bat, I can say that Iβm not mastering React (yet), but I can ensure that these weeks of learning React were a great start to put myself into this learning process. I like how recorded lessons were raw and that Matt showed the whole process (without editing it out) and the challenges he was facing along the way. One thing Iβd love to see in the future is more courses for different project types. I guess Iβm saying that because I really enjoyed the classes, and I wish I could stay for a bit longer, diving even deeper into coding with the SheCodes team :) Thank You ALL - Matt, SheCodes Team, and all Ladies!
