SheCodes is an excellent course! It can be daunting taking on something new and I’ve tried other courses before, but they pale in comparison to the detail and support you get here. I’m so exited to start the next workshop and really take my skill set further. Thank you SheCodes team!

I think that this space to "create" makes a huge difference between learning and living the experience. After this I can only say that coding it's amazing, but doing it like this is a totally different experience. Note: Amazing support team!

Let's say first.. I was a total beginner. The lessons are organized in a very nice way, everything is explained step by step, so you are not overloaded with knowledge you had never contact before. I am very happy I took this opportunity. Amazing course! Thank You SheCodes Team! :)

It has been such an interesting journey. I am glad I took the SheCodes Plus React course. While doing the react weeks, I was able to revise and get a better grasp of the concepts taught in the plus part of the workshop. I ❤️ the course! I found each lesson super engaging and clear, and the challenges very helpful to put into practice every learning. SheCodes workshops eliminate common misconceptions about coding. Thanks to this platform I found out web development can be very creative and fun to learn. It's been a great course! I wouldn't have thought to learn so much already in only 3 weeks. Nor did I think that I would enjoy it so much but I did and I definitely want to continue my coding / programming journey. Thanks Matt & team! The explanations are very clear and they answer your questions really fast via Slack. Doing it on my own pace but still having deadlines in order not to keep pushing it forward is the right way for me to study. Keep up the great work SheCodes :)

If you're planning on learning React JS from zero, I'd totally recommend this workshop. Not only teach you some basic and essentials stuff to build a nice professional-looking app, but they also encourage your confidence to feel comfortable using React, which is not an easy subject to learn (at least for me). So thank you again, Matt and SheCodes team!

Completing the SheCodes classes have really helped me communicate my UI designs to our dev team. It was super fun to be able to actually see a project through 100% on my own from designing it to coding. Because the class only required a few hours a week, I was able to complete the classes while working a full-time job. I was having so much fun, I ended up putting more time than required anyways! 👏

I started the course with a little knowledge, but I learned in three weeks a lot of things about HTML, CSS and JS. The course was very simple and easy to understand. It has been a great learning experience! Coding can be intimidating, but with SheCodes it was much easier to understand. I honestly am shocked. I took this course as an Operations Manager for a start up. I manage one tech teammate and I remember her inspecting pages and finding errors almost immediately. I just got tired of feeling like I was managing someone whose work I didn't understand and I wanted to become someone who she could go to for support. I looked at code today at work in our email marketing and what used to be SO scary to click was now total cake and made sense. I can't wait to take the next level in SheCodes. It's so fulfilling and Matt and his support team are unmatched. I also made friends and I am a TOTAL introvert. I'm so proud of myself.

I loved this workshop! I plan on taking the React workshop after this. I am a product manager and manager of our engineers, so having a working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and Java is already helping me communicate more confidently with my team.

SheCodes Plus has been a great experience from start to finish. Every lesson is explained clearly and the challenges throughout the course ensure you thoroughly understand each topic. After my 3 week intro course I was ready to learn more. I have now submitted my final project in SheCodes Plus workshop and I am so proud of my self for how everything turned out. I enjoyed the SheCodes Workshop very much. The workshop pace is just right, and you can watch and rewatch the videos at your own time. Matt's videos and materials are very clear and I am able to follow and learn the basics of HTML, CSS and Javascript. These topics were initially rather daunting, but this workshop exceeded my expectations. The Challenges at the end of each lesson help reinforce the teachings and allow us to practise. The website and videos are nicely done, and the SheCodes Radio helped me focus during my Challenges and project. It was a lot of fun doing the course and the project. I am glad I found this platform where I learned HTML, CSS and JavaScript and was able to create a working application. I faced several challenges while working on projects but the process has taught me to further my research and solve them. Learning about vanilla JavaScript has finally demystified the "complexities". Before this course, I was very confused about how JavaScript worked. I knew that it is incredibly powerful and in fact powered most of the internet or websites. But I just didn't how it worked. This course gave me the wonderful gift of finally understanding and loving JavaScript and having a ton of fun with it. I finally understand that it is a language of functions and you create those functions to bring features to life. And incredibly so, learning JavaScript empowers you in understand other languages as well. It's truly incredible. SheCodes React has been a welcomed challenge for me. It was interesting to see how I could build the same webpage using both JavaScript and React JSX. Very good. Whilst I appreciate that React is comprehensive and this course certainly teaches you a lot, and I'm sure certainly covers the basics, there were many times during the development of the App through the teaching that other aspects of React were alluded to but were not fully covered or explained. I only wish these were elaborated upon. Otherwise, a fantastic course with a great online support team and brilliant intructional videos made by Matt.

SheCodes has been a great learning course! I had no previous experience with coding and I really enjoyed the challenges each lesson came with. I highly recommend it to anyone in search for an introduction to the world of coding. A big thank you to Matt and the SheCodes team!

Waaw I can't believe this journey got to an end. I spent 3 amazing months learning how to code, from the induction learning CSS and HTML to JavaScript and React. It has been a great opportunity to be able to immerse myself in programming and I would definitely recommend these workshops to anyone who is interested in coding. I cannot explain how happy I am for being able to learn with Matt Delac and the SheCodes team, it was so inspiring that I applied to continue my studies in a Dev bootcamp, starting in April. I am thrilled about the new world I have just discovered!

SO MANY FEELINGS: so happy because it was a super fun journey through all these courses, but sad because it is over :) :( . This one was a real challenge, but as always Matt was able to explain and demonstrate everything perfectly. I am very happy that I had discovered SheCodes in this last summer, and I cannot be more thankfull to Matt and the whole team for having created and maintained this academy. Never in my life I would though to become passionate about frontend development. In my few years of experience, I always loved the backend component, and hated the frontend. Never understood CSS or HTML, and was scare to engage in the React thing. But after this experience I learned A LOT and actually have decided to try to change my career to be more frontend"ish" . I was really amazed by the content and structure of the course. Combining short, precise "theory" parts with exercises and the possibility to regularly review the content in terms of homework is really great. It perfectly fits with a busy work schedule and I am really keen on keeping learning. But to be honest the greatest benefit is the community: Matt and the whole team are really helpful and it is great to connect with the other students.

I loved all the SheCodes Workshops, from the first basic one to React. Over a period of just a few months I went from knowing nothing about coding to creating my own App and had a lot of fun doing it! Having had an interest in coding, I participated in SheCodes Express a few months ago and was inspired by Matt's way of breaking down previously foreign concepts into simple terms that I just had to try the Online workshop. SheCodes React was another challenging, yet brilliant workshop by Matt and the team. It went at a great pace and once again thanks to the help of Joao and Daniella on Slack!

I stumbled across SheCodes when I scrolled through Instagram - it straight away captured my attention and suddenly I was on Matt's intro class, registering for the real workshop and starting to code for the first time in my life. I have to say Matt's way of busting the myth of "nerdy, impossible-to-learn-at-this-age" coding is super effective. I am still a galaxy away from a professional programmer but learning how to code (and read them) made me understand workflows, app design / implementation process, its behaviour, and digital space in general. This helps me a lot in my career where I build use cases for people and their business when they evaluate a CRM (I work at Salesforce), as well as for my personal learning. Keep up the good work Matt, Daniela, and team! 💯

This was a great course, I feel comfortable now reading and playing with the basics of html, css and java. As the head of a communications department I do alot of website updates and work closely with the IT team and this course will empower me to do more work independently on the websites!

This is a very cool course! I'm learn more about the functions in Java script and about GitHub, Netlify, Bootstrap and API. Many interesting lessons with even more interesting tasks - for me was a lot of fun. And as a conclusion - a personally made project "Weather App". Thanks SheCodes team!

Challenging but fun! Though it's online learning, I always managed to get the help I needed if I was stuck on something. I never thought I would be able to create my own weather app! SheCodes Plus was a real challenge for me after completing the SheCodes intro workshop (no surprise there, we did dive into Javascript functions! 🤯). As someone who has never written a line of code before taking these SheCodes workshops, I am proud of myself for finishing this course with a functional project to show for it.⁣ ⁣ What I liked most about SheCodes is that it allowed me to move at my own pace. I hit some road blocks, not fully understanding certain concepts as they got more advanced and wishing I had more time to process the information. The team at SheCodes was gracious about deadlines, giving me the time I needed to complete my work, and whenever I got stuck, I was able to post in the Slack channel for help. ⁣ The moment when things started to click for me while working on my project, I felt so empowered and capable. I'm inspired to continue learning and to see where this road may lead me!

I took the Xmas break to invest in myself by taking a three-week SheCodes workshop. It took me a few days to get into the programming mood, but once I started working on the first chapters, time just flew by. And within a blink, the three weeks were over and I had finished my first own real live project, and I am so proud to have exposed myself to unknown territory and been able to come up with something I feel happy about. So thank you, Matt, and your excellent team for this exciting experience!

SheCodes is AMAZING! I've been majoring in Computer Science for over a year now, and I've been recently interested in front-end development and learning a few new languages. The workshops were the perfect place for me to get started over winter break! Matt takes things step-by-step and zooms in to explain the nitty gritty of the code. He neither makes it too long and superfluous nor too vague; it is just the right amount of explanation! In addition, you have this whole team of women around the world standing with you as a united force learning these new coding languages -- all of which are there at your disposal to help guide you and learn with you through Slack chat. Professional help is also available-- and they truly do help with whatever question or trouble you may have! (This is a unique twist from undergraduate help in college... ahaha.) Videos can be fast-forwarded 30 seconds or rewound for 30 seconds. You can always go back to previous lessons. The best part? A review of the video and significant concepts are left underneath each video. I have never encountered such a helpful platform to help me get started. Matt flawlessly lets us grow wings throughout the lessons as well so that we can find outside coding help and experiment for when we won't have a helpful guide in our future coding adventures. I recommend SheCodes to any woman interested in learning front-end development (website-building) or coding in general. What are you waiting for?

This is a fantastic beginner program for those interested in coding. I never thought I would learn as much as I did and enjoy it too. The information is laid out very well, easy to follow through and understand. Each step builds onto the other with ease. Matt takes what seems hard and lays it down in lay mans term. I really like the structure of Shecodes: bite-sized, digestible lessons; challenges after each lesson; homework each week and a big project in the end. I recommend the SheCodes workshops to fellow beginners who were also hesitant or even scared to start coding, and wanted to challenge themselves with new skills outside their field. I always thought that coding was not for me and I never thought that it would be as creative and fun as it turned out to be. Matt Delac and the SheCodes Team have made it possible to overcome these fears and myths around coding and delve into the coding world. I am definitely addicted and I want to continue coding! Very happy I took all of the workshops available on SheCodes! The SheCodes team is so helpful and informative. Excited to see what I can do with these certifications!

I have never coded in my life before, but the SheCodes Workshops made it look easy and fun for me! I learned entirely a new skill that I would like to practice deeper in the future. After every challenge that I would overcome during coding, I felt satisfied with the achievements I have done. Thank you to the team and Matt for making this happen!

So far very good! There is so many different online choices but this makes a difference: workshop way of working (with homework, deadline and homeworks to submit) and possibility to have support from the SheCode team if you have some issues (kind of mentoring on demand). Continue offer great product & service! Small future suggestion: as some videos were done in the past, update new info/changes eg. What is the difference between JavaScript 6 and the newest one.

What an epic journey this workshop was! A truly magnificent experience, filled with hours of challenging excercises and lots of light bulb moments! Don’t give up and push through it – you’ll be rewarded and don’t worry, your wonderful tutor Matt and his team of technical wizards will help you along the way!!

I enjoyed every second of this workshop. Even with the challenges I have encounter, I did not wanted to stop coding. It felt like an addiction. No matter how hard the topic might be, Matt makes it super comprehensible and you end up building and coding stuff that you never thought would. Gotta give it to Matt and his team for helping me through the entire process with issues/questions I may have had. It was a super and exciting ride. I am still not done since I have to continue with the react workshop now and cannot wait!

I have always been interested in coding but found it hard to teach myself. The SheCodes lessons were easy to understand but still challenging. I found the SheCodes team very responsive and helpful on Slack. I would definitely recommend!

Learning to code for the first time ever from scratch is a very intimidating thing. However, Matt and the support team provide such simple teaching and great knowledge to get you through the course. I never realized how much I love coding until now. I am excited to take coding to the next level and apply it to my career!

In 2020 after 7 years of designing and managing IT projects, I have decided to learn software development, I wanted to know how to use all modern technologies, tools and frameworks. My experience in coding was limited to basic university program of c# and java. Thanks to SheCodes lessons (Plus and React) I have received updated and practical knowledge in order to build and maintain by myself web apps using HTML-CSS-JS or React.js framework. As a consequence I can now manage development teams even better than before or directly take a role of Front End dev in a project. Matt Delac is a great tutor, I appreciate a lot his mission! Now I am a certified Front End developer.

I recommend this course to any woman who is curious about stepping into the tech world. These courses that Matt and his team have designed are made to be easy to follow along, to ask questions along the way and most importantly challenge your creative and critical thinking skills as you create your own designs and applications.I knew nothing when I started and I am happy to now have completed the program entirely - in just under 6 months, too!

Well suited for beginners! The topics cover a lot of basic knowledges of web development. However, I would expect more examples like different types of website structures, etc. Overall, great job to all SheCodes team!

I have thoroughly enjoyed doing the 3 week introduction to coding, I feel confident to adjust and upgrade my sites and business with the skills I have learnt. I am dyslexic so thought it maybe to difficult follow and read the code however Matt explained everything clear and concisely so it was fast to pick up and put in to practice. Thank you so much for introducing me to something I think I have fallen for ! The constant support from the team was also wonderful so thank you all!!

This was a brilliant course, and a great way to understand the basics of coding. Thank you Matt and the SheCodes team for all your teaching and support.

It was hard but rewarding. Sometimes the smallest details have stopped me from going forward but the SheCodes team assisted me, clarifying my doubts and allowing me to continue. I now feel much more at ease with the possibility of learning more about programming and it doesn't seem something completely "impossible" as it did before. I now feel I need to know a bit more about the theory and am looking forward to keep learning! 💪💥🥳
