SheCodes Basic is a fantastic workshop for women to learn basic coding skills, with an opportunity to add more courses in advanced coding to prepare for professional employment or for personal use in creative website development. It is backed by an extensive coding team and lots of peripheral pages for color styles, uploads, videos, and many outlined examples with helpful information. I highly recommend SheCodes for women who want to learn computer coding.

Before SheCodes, I knew nothing about coding. Thanks to Matt and the amazing team, I've gained the skills and confidence to start a new career path. The Rect Add-on course was a game-changer and I'm so grateful for this empowering journey!

Building this world clock was super fun! Learning about time zones and actually seeing "why" a couple lines of code can make or "break" your project is becoming more rewarding. With each workshop I do with SheCodes things are starting to "click" a little more. I am becoming more confident with my skills and ability to research the answers I need. Im braving the new waters of coding and thriving! It still amazes me how SheCodes has made coding so exciting and simplified the world of coding for me! I started my journey with absolutely NO Experience or Knowledge in coding and I have since created so many beautiful apps with SheCodes. I love how my creativity can be channeled in my coding as I create. I never knew there was any aspect of creativity in the world of coding ! I always thought it was very analytical and something I would never be able to understand! Wow! what a 360 it has been for me. Thank you again to the entire team at SheCodes.

This section has given me in depth a better understanding of JavaScript. Which I feared I was never going to get the hang of it. I was able to troubleshoot most bugs I was encountering based on the content of the videos but also help from the team. I will say this project provides a big example of powerful functionality. Furthermore, I can say I feel more confident in moving forward with my coding journey thanks to Matt and the team.

I absolute enjoyed going through all the plus exercises and the team was so helpful and responded quickly because there were some things that I struggled with and have the team so readily available and happy to help made studying all the more enjoyable.

I have had an amazing experience learning how to code through the SheCodes Basics course. When I started , I was worried that I might not be smart enough to learn how to code however the support from the SheCodes team together with the flexibility of the course have made the prospect of learning the basics of html CSS and JavaScript over the course of three weeks when I knew nothing about coding prior less over whelming and extremely enjoyable. Our instructor Matt presented the work to us in a way that was very easy to grasp and the practical component of each lesson helped with my progress and made learning a lot more fun. After having successfully completed the SheCodes basics course I feel a lot more confident in my ability to succeed as front-end developer and I am super excited to continue learning.

This workshop was a great extension on the Python Basics, providing a lot of knowledge on data structure and manipulation as well as plots. As always the format of the workshop is excellent and there is always help when needed. Thank you SheCodes team!

Realistic, practical and digestible format! SheCodes support team were also patient and helpful whenever I arrived at a stumbling block, to help me get on track. Additionally, Matt shared some useful insights relating to design resources (CSS Fonts, Palettes etc), along with tips and tricks to help speed up the coding process, saving time and overthinking energy. The course and the process of coding is gradually solidifying itself as an active interest in my life. What a great course! I must admit, Python Advanced was more difficult than I was expecting, but the structure and freedom of the lesson plans allow you to go back, re-watch the videos and practice your coding until it sinks in. Big thanks to Matt and the SheCodes team as ever!

I had a lot of fun learning advanced concepts in Python. Matt is a wonderful instructor and the SheCodes team does a great job at providing help when needed. I do wish the last couple weeks didn't feel so rushed so I could become more comfortable with advanced concepts, but I'm glad I stuck with it! It took me sometime to finish the basic course but - I did it! 💪 The first week was a little hard for me to follow, which make sense because this is my first ever coding class but as I build more stuff and get acquainted with it, I started to really enjoy it! My favorite is java script because it took sometime for me for things to "click" with CSS and when it did it made a lot of sense. Doing the challenges, home works and final project really helped a lot because actually seeing the result of your work feels good and helps you get more motivated. I absolutely love this course, I was able to pace it at the right time specially I am a SAHM, and it can be extremely challenging to make time. Thank you SheCodes team for your patience with me!

Building my weather app was both a challenging and rewarding experience. At first, I felt overwhelmed by all the moving parts—integrating the API, displaying accurate forecasts, and making sure the icons and temperatures worked perfectly. There were moments when I doubted myself, especially when things didn’t display as expected. But through persistence, problem-solving, and a lot of trial and error, I slowly started to piece everything together. Debugging each issue, step by step, helped me grow more confident in my skills. I learned the importance of patience and seeking out solutions, no matter how tricky the problem seemed. By the end of the process, I not only had a functional weather app, but I also felt a real sense of accomplishment. It reminded me that challenges are just opportunities for growth, and with determination, there’s nothing I can’t conquer. I'd like to thank Matt and the team, y'all are amazing. SheCodes definitely has to be the best Foundation ever! From someone who had no clue about coding, let alone that I wasn't even interested until I came SheCodes on TikTok and I watched a video from Matt. How amazing is Matt and the entire team???!!! I love how everything (videos from Matt) gets broken down nicely and the team is always ready and available to help. With SheCodes Plus, I had a lot going on in my private life that I didn't get to commit to the deadlines. But I am grateful for the extensions that I was granted.
