One of the things I appreciate most about this program is that I can work at my own pace, on my own time, which has made it possible for me to fit learning into my busy schedule. As a result of my experience with "She codes", I have learned so much about coding and am excited to pursue a career change in this field. Before SheCodes, I found coding extremely boring! But Matt and SheCodes team changed that forever. I did it again!! Learning a new skill can be difficult but rewarding. I was hard on myself during these past 8 weeks, trying to push myself to the point I was lacking food and sleep. I had to remind myself that it's okay to take a break, refresh and start again, especially when my code has errors. By clearing my head I was able to take another approach and found the solution. So, it's okay to take a break but giving up is not an option for me. Thanks to Matt and his team for providing so much support during this time.

React is a bit challenging at a first glance. But when you get deeper it becomes so easy to solve complicated tasks, which would be a liitle puzzled if you solve them with pure JS. This is my fourth SheCodes workshop, and my learning curve has been incredibly steep. I started out with zero knowledge, and SheCodes has given me tons of knowledge and more confidence. SheCodes has given me the confidence to play with code and explore existing libraries and frameworks. The React workshop was terrific; it tied together everything I've learned and pushed me to challenge myself. The instructor is incredibly resourceful and talented and explains things in a simple-to-understand and unique way. The Slack team is ready to answer any question 24/7, and there is a massive community of women with the same goals and ambitions. I cannot recommend these workshops enough!
