SheCodes Basics is a very well organized workshop! It is easy to follow each lesson step-by-step, even without any previous programming knowledge/skills (which was my case). The SheCodes basics workshop was excellent! I had been debating a career change and was hesitant about diving in and spending a lot of time and money on something I wouldn't enjoy. The combination of short videos and homework assignments made coding easy to digest. Understanding how React works, especially its component system, was a real challenge for me. Thankfully, with the fantastic guidance from Matt, I managed to grasp everything and create my own Weather Forecast, which I'm incredibly proud of! Matt is an awesome instructor, he teaches each concept very clearly. The lessons are well structured. The mini challenges and the weekly projects really help in applying and better understanding the knowledge learnt from the lessons. There's also a technical team that is always ready to help with any technical questions one may have.

Before SheCodes, I've tried other free code camps/coding websites but was always left frustrated as I couldn't understand what I was learning or what I was doing. However, the step-by-step (very hand-holding) approach by Matt and his team has restored my confidence and helped me successfully build a webpage. My advice for new beginners who are eager to create: follow the instructions before getting carried away and wanting to build your own hobby project. Trust me. This will save you a lot of time and frustration.

I really enjoyed working in this project. The instructions and tutorials were clear and engaging, and Matt and the SheCodes team make sure to support you every step of the way. I would definitely recommend SheCodes to all who want to start a journey in coding, and my only regret in taking this course is not starting it sooner.

I highly recommend SheCodes, it's beginner friendly, the videos are easy to follow and the SheCodes team is very helpful on slack whenever you are stuck. Working on the weather app was so much fun even with all the bumps on the road.
