This course has been a fantastic introduction to HTML, CSS and JavaScript and I've enjoyed every minute. Sessions are delivered in well explained segments with small recap tasks to really help consolidate the teaching, the challenges are well explained and build upon the skills learnt, and the concepts are taught and demonstrated through engaging examples. There's also a really lovely community of other students eager to help each other out, which has been super useful for learning how to troubleshoot and problem solve. Definitely a more advanced lesson in JavaScript and lengthier than the Basics workshop, but so rewarding to complete your very own customized weather app! The Slack Team was a huge help whenever I got stuck on something. I keep making little mistakes but am confident that the more time I can devote to practicing/coding the easier Iβll spot these errors myself and the better it will all sink in. On to the next course! :)

As a mom of two I found SheCodes Plus very challenging at times, and often frustrating just like Matt described, but in the end creating a weather app that works with real life data was an amazing feeling of achievement. I would highly recommend this workshop as the lessons are clear and concise, and you become a part of a community that's always ready to help. What I love the most? You get to learn at your pace, and if you need an extension or more time to grasp a lesson that is possible, its not like being in a classroom where you get left behind. Wow! What a challenge these past 8 weeks have been, and they've been totally worth it! From zero coding experience to now having completed SheCodes Basics and SheCodes Plus, I'm excited to see where my front-end skills take me. I love the way lessons are building up at Plus. Even though I went through some of the videos a few times just to understand, I always learned something. Enlightenment, the Aha... The modern interface and bite-sized lessons made the learning process really smooth.
