Really enjoyed this! Matt is a great teacher and I like that the homework assignments get you coding right away and really make you work through the logic of the code to figure out how to make things work. I feel like I've learned a lot already and have a solid foundation for the next workshop.
The workshop Plus was incredibly rich and rewarding. It provided a perfect balance of challenge and growth, helping me deepen my understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. I gained valuable skills that allowed me to incorporate more complex elements into my work and create a fully functional, dynamic website in the end. Matt is an outstanding teacher. Beyond explaining the step-by-step procedure, he instilled confidence in me and made me believe that I could actually do it. His encouragement and clear teaching style made all the difference in helping me overcome challenges and push through to the next level.
I enjoyed going through the JavaScript section a lot! I gave this course 4* because I wish we had gone more in depth in JavaScript basics, before building the whole project. While Matt is a great teacher I do think the videos could have more explanations on why something is being done :) All in all, a great course to get you acquainted with the development flow and getting to build a whole project with the last weeks is very fun :)

I highly enjoyed this course because it helps to expand my knowledge in JavaScript and it is a good experience for me. We built an interesting project for Meteo App that can be good example of JavaScript functions in real use. Our teacher prepares great video tutorials which were instrumental using in our daily projects. I am glad I took it and hope to take another in the near future.

The Responsive lesson is the valuable lesson I've been waiting for; it teaches you to code websites that work for computer screens AND mobile devices. For the final project, we were to create a portfolio website. The site I created accomplishes the goals of the workshop and a little more, but I hope to use it to recreate my personal website instead of the site I have hosted on a web builder right now. I took inspiration from the teacher, my existing site, and other open-sourced projects from other students to create my project.
Once more, I confirm with SheCodes: coding is so fun! π Matt is, as usual, an amazing teacher and explains everything in a way that is easy to understand. The project was very enjoyable, and it showed me I love the styling part of coding. It feels like a boost to continue learning!

The workshop was easy to follow, the lessons were split up into good chunks and that made it possible to learn new things whenever there was time for it. The workshop prepared me well and allowed me to practice every new thing I learned, so I actually felt like I didn't need a lot of help to get my project done. Matt is a great teacher and doesn't use complex language where it isn't needed - you can tell he knows not only how to do those things, but also how to get the knowledge across to newbies. This was a really nice experience and I am excited for the next workshop. π

Learning to code can sometimes feel really inaccessible but this course made it possible to learn so comprehensively with a fantastic teacher in Matt. He made it interesting and super fun. I first encountered SheCodes a few years ago when I participated in their web development courses, it was a wonderful experience from which I learned a great deal. When I saw that they had launched a new Python course I immediately knew that I needed to take it and I was right. It is a perfect basic course for those, who only start their journey in a coding sphere. The lessons are short and clear. There are bunch of exercises for self study. The final projects of each week are observed by teachers. Overall it was a pleasant learning experience from which I gained basic knowledge and practical experience in coding!

Having started the course with absolutely zero knowledge of coding, I feel a massive sense of achievement. The course is designed to enable participants to access lessons for manageable periods of time. The lessons were clear and well structured, as were the challenges and homework, making everything really accessible. There were great resources to access too. I struggled with keeping within the suggested timeframes but that did not deter me. Matt is a great teacher who provides positive reinforcement and recognises when some content is challenging. Wow! This was amazing. Matt is a really good teacher. I loved how all the lessons were broken up in to smaller pieces. It made it less overwhelming and felt like I was flying through it. Before I began I was worried I would get frustrated and quit but that never happened. Instead, I am addicted and want to learn more! This course was incredible. I never would have ever believed I could have so much fun doing something like coding, but I loved every minute of it! Matt is a brilliant teacher, who knows how to break complicated subject matter down into a way that makes it easier to grasp. The support is fantastic too if you ever get stuck, with very helpful tutors and students standing by to give their advice in a short time frame too. Completing this basic coding course was a personal win for me. My dad is an IT teacher, and for the longest time, coding felt like some kind of dark magic that Iβd never understand. But this course really changed that for me. The lessons were so clear and practical, and I actually started to 'get it'βI felt smarter with each exercise. Now, coding doesn't feel so intimidating, and I feel like I'm getting closer to speaking the same language as my dad. Loving it! Python was an eye opener, what a wonderful program. Lessons were clear, sometimes it went really fast....but the advantage of online learning with videos following a teacher explaining the live coding really helps. You can pause and watch them again.
