The lesson was great and teacher taught everything clear. The only problem that I had it was that checking the homeworks included too much time; 48hours for each homework!.
I am so grateful to SheCodes team for these courses. I started my coding journey 7 months ago thinking that I would never be able to understand the complexities of code and now I learned so much and gained so much in autonomy over the last months that I feel that I can go further on my own. SheCodes taught me something essential that I use in everything I do, being able to troubleshoot yourself. I tried to apply that along the whole cours but when I had a more serious issue, the SheCodes team was there to help. Wish I could continue on this journey even further with them but I managed to get to the end and I'm so proud and thankful to all of them. SheCodes is an amazing workshop and i highly recommend it to anyone who is interested in coding. SheCodes Basic was such a fantastic course and a really affordable way to find out if coding is right for you. I never thought it would be right for me, but after taking the free 1 hour workshop Matt offers, I understood the basics of coding, for the first time ever! He is such a great teacher and really makes difficult concepts seem so easy and he gives lots of amazing tips. Matt's tutorials are not only thorough, but they're well-organized so that they build off of each other. Week 1 was all excitement as I realized that the HTML I learned 20 years ago in high school had still been bouncing around in my skull somehow. Adding CSS on top of it was a piece of cake, and the course lays everything out for you one step at a time. Week 2 was all JavaScript, which was brand new to me. There were times I got tangled in my own code during a challenge, but I was never frustrated because it was so simple to go through that week's threads and see if anyone else had similar problems in the past. If so, there were always helpful students and teachers ready to give solutions and help work out the issue. I came here from trying to trudge through Coursera's Google IT certification courses, but I was really struggling and kind of worried that maybe I wasn't quite 'smart enough' for a new career tech or something. However, based on how easily I adapted and absorbed the SheCodes training, I think it's just the different approach Matt brings, which is more visual learning (since he has his code in the video right in front of you so that you can pause it and follow along in your own session of VSCode,) in addition to the small challenges at the end of each lesson, which helps you practice and cement the coding you just learned. Aside from the videos, there are all kinds of learning/coder aids, such as cheat-sheets, color palettes, and CSS generators. Fantastic program. I'm so glad I took a chance from the beginning and signed up for SheCodes Pro. I'm ready to rock the rest of this program and have an exciting, fulfilling career. FINALLY! Thank you, Matt!

I've been looking for a coding program that would work for me. I looked for over a year and all the other programs were sketchy with their advertisement and gave no insight on their curriculum. But when I first seen SheCodes, I thought it was too good to be true. And now after finishing the Basic Course in just 1 week, I am so excited that I found a program that works! I have a RHIA and a MSHI and worked as a medical record coder for 7 years, I was hoping my Master's in Health Informatic would give me that technical flare, but it didn't, which left me short of the mark for potential employers. SheCodes has a well-built curriculum! and if you've read any other testimony, Matt is an excellent teacher! His style of teaching is what got me through this course so fast. He literally led the way all the way down to the finish line, and by the time you arrive, you'll know exactly what to do! Go tell a friend!

SheCodes Plus is definitely way more challenging than I expected, from learning about APIs to using more advanced Java commands.
