Great class. Would have liked a bit more support to learn more about why some of my attempted approaches didn't work, instead of just being provided with a solution.

SheCodes makes learning how to code easy! The "Learn" videos teaches how to change an item on a page, before you are encouraged to apply what you've learnt within mini "Challenges". It is perfect for ultimate beginners or someone with previous experience of coding; more importantly: it is fun!! SheCodes is also a community waiting to support one another; this truly makes a difference! I wished I learnt how to code this way a long time ago!
I have been curious about coding and enjoyed the free class from SheCodes so much that I signed up for my first workshop with them! The content is easy to follow, while the challenges and projects are challenging in a good way, the perfect balance for me to learn. I also liked that we could reach out to other students and support staff if we had questions, and I love that SheCodes helps women from all around the world. :)

This has been a fantastic experience. The Basic course covered so much in 3 weeks that I now feel more confident with HTML, CSS and Javascript. My work has progressively led me down a more tech-based path. I was frustrated with navigating unfamiliar software, managing websites, and learning the correct language to describe navigation issues with support persons. I signed up for the SheCodes free course, and it planted a seed. Not only is it creating ease in communication with our technology support persons, but it's also feeding my creativity and love of problem-solving. I am so happy I had the opportunity to take the Basic Course and am even more excited for the next eight weeks for the Pro Course.

This workshop was so fun! I was apprehensive at first because I did struggle with the previous workshops, but to my surprise I actually enjoyed the Responsive workshop so much. The Basic Workshop had easy to navigate lessons, challenges, and homework. The program provides great support through Slack with quick response times from instructors and other users. This introductory workshop really helps understand the basis of html, css and javascript. You learn at your own pace (love that you can speed up training video and pause when needed). I felt engaged owing to the online slack support as well as challenges and homeworks. Also, challenges and homework are great, practice is key in coding to understand how all these languages work together and is needed to actually retain the info (at least for me^^) I loved the format, not too easy not too hard, just challenging enough to want to dig into it more :)!
The courses are setup brilliantly with testing challenges as well as projects. The supporting resources available as well as the team have been great.

This last workshop (React) was a tough one. But when you get the hang of it, it becomes a lot of fun.
