I am a total newbie to coding, and I found the Shecodes basics workshops to be quite challenging. Despite that, I think Matt has done a fantastic job at being really concise and thorough in explaining and demonstrating all the new concepts. I usually find pre-recorded courses to be a little bit hard to get through as they're usually so disconnected, but being able to go back to tutorials and also have support from the Slack channels has really set this one apart from the rest!

This was a pretty straightforward course for someone with no prior experience and the price was nice too! Learning a new skill is always difficult but Shecodes gives you resources for support. <3

Coding was completely new to me and far outside of my comfort zone. When I started looking into learning the basics I found the amount of online advice overwhelming and a lot of the information difficult to understand for a complete beginner. This course broke it into practical and easy to understand steps and there was support available if you became stuck at any point. Would highly recommend!

I'm so excited to have finished the SheCodes Plus workshop! I can't believe how much I've learned. I'm so proud of myself for sticking with it, even when things got tough. I learned HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and I'm now confident that I can create my own websites and web applications. JavaScript was definitely the most challenging for me, but I was able to overcome it with the help of the SheCodes resources, especially Athena AI. My final project was a weather application that fetches live data from a weather API. It was a challenging project, but it was also so much fun! Very important moment happened during learning .There was challenge and when I started to looking for solution ,I just became numb.This happened for the first time to me ,sometimes I get angry that it doesn't work out, sometimes I'm glad when everything works as it should.And that time there was emptiness, no ideas where to start, NOTHING at all.I sat down at the computer for half a day, looked at it, got up and cried, so passed half of my day😅.Than I pull myself together, found words of support and here I continue my path further. I had an amazing experience creating my own React word dictionary app! Working with React allowed me to build a dynamic and responsive user interface, while integrating APIs for word definitions and image searches added a real-world functionality to my app. The step-by-step guidance and support I received while developing the app helped me gain a deeper understanding of React components, state management, and API requests. The most exciting part was seeing the app come to life with each new feature I added. From displaying word definitions and phonetics to fetching related images, every step was rewarding. The app not only increased my coding skills but also enhanced my problem-solving abilities as I tackled challenges along the way.

Great course - It isn't given to you on a plate, this is proper learning, with great challenges and some googling required too! However Matt makes it simple and support is there along the way!

I highly recommend this course! Everything is explained in detail, clearly, not difficult or stressful.
