This was by far the most challenging workshop for me since I joined SheCodes! I am happy to have completed it. There were moments were I wanted to quit but Matt was very supportive and he advised that at first React can be overwhelming but with practice, we will understand it. I really enjoyed Matt's approach of "jump in the water, do it NOW". The lessons don't give you much of a chance to stop and consider that you might not be able to do the thing, or any other type of self-doubt. All the information is there, it's easy to access, very well presented, and there is a lot of support in place. I also massively appreciate the constant encouragement to do your own research and experiment with code, and the reassurance that there is not one correct answer. I am a very anxious learner, and feel like I need to write everything down, but this approach made me more confident; the cheatsheets took away the need to write everything down. In the end, I had more time, energy, and focus to understand what I was being taught and play around with code after completing my homework.
