Building this world clock was super fun! Learning about time zones and actually seeing "why" a couple lines of code can make or "break" your project is becoming more rewarding. I enjoyed this workshop, because I am in the process of discovering my likes and dislikes about the programming field. I also appreciated very much the flexibility about deadlines extensions, being my first time learning about coding , extensions really helped me to fit my learning into my schedule and life situations ( I was even sick in the middle, and SheCodes was very flexible to help me stay on track and achieve my goals by allowing extra extensions). Everything on the site works very well, I particularly took notice of all the extra resources offered with each lesson, they really supported my learning and encouraged me to look further and get a better understanding of the different topics. This workshop also opened a door for the universe of colours, one of the lessons about styling gave us a good foundation about colours, this knowledge is very useful not only for coding but also for photoshopping, which I've always been interested in learning as a hobby.

I have had an amazing experience learning how to code through the SheCodes Basics course. When I started , I was worried that I might not be smart enough to learn how to code however the support from the SheCodes team together with the flexibility of the course have made the prospect of learning the basics of html CSS and JavaScript over the course of three weeks when I knew nothing about coding prior less over whelming and extremely enjoyable. Our instructor Matt presented the work to us in a way that was very easy to grasp and the practical component of each lesson helped with my progress and made learning a lot more fun. After having successfully completed the SheCodes basics course I feel a lot more confident in my ability to succeed as front-end developer and I am super excited to continue learning.

I had a great time working on this course. I initially switched to React but needed to come back to complete it. The saying "practice makes perfect" holds true for coding. After taking a short break, I could jump back into the course without feeling lost. I must admit that the videos and support provided are excellent.
