This short Ad-On course sharpened up the knowledge gained in SheCodes Plus. Some elements of JS are very hard but great to see how the project can be built without the utilization of API, and the introduction to Moments JS is great and powerful for future project development. I really enjoyed SheCodes Plus, it was a labour of love, but no matter where you encounter problems with your code, She Codes Team, Slack and Athena AI help out any questions you may have and help to fix the code. You get to build a weather app and forecast from scratch and have it forever!! It was a very enjoyable course with a great tutor in Matt!
My experience with SheCodes Plus has been transformative. The course is incredibly well-structured, offering a perfect balance between learning the fundamentals and diving into more advanced topics like JavaScript and responsive design. Finally, my project (SheCodes Plus) was completed, and during these eight weeks I was under increasing pressure on time management, family matters, and work I've faced many challenges, and I'm proud of myself for going through everything, and I'm going to do everything I can.
I really enjoyed the SheCodes Plus workshop. I found the sections focusing on CSS and HTML really helpful, and the sections on Javascript and APIs really well-explained. Whilst the final project at the end of week 8 was challenging, I was able to work through the steps alongside the video, and feel happy with the final result.
This workshop has really helped me in being able to code the way I do. Graduating from SheCodes and now SheCodes Add-on has taught me that I am capable of anything I put my mind to! I am ready to push myself and do more of what I love! Bring on SheCodes Plus!!
I'm so happy to have completed the SheCodes Plus workshop. I learnt so many new things and highly recommend SheCodes to anyone looking to learn programming. The lessons are taught in a way that is easy to understand. The challenges and assignments also keep you out of the scary "tutorial loop" and ensure you can apply all you've been learning.
SheCodes Plus was wonderful. It builds a lot on the basic knowledge that I have gained in Basics and Basics Plus workshops. This Workshop was challenging but also very rewarding and I appreciate how the workshop teaches you to troubleshoot your issues with the build, as well as being creative in finding the solutions through the research online ( both vital when this knowledge will be applied in real life projects). Everything finally comes together in the Plus workshop - how is it that pages are created and how is it that they are hosted and updated. Coming from the UX world this opens my understanding about development so much. Don't hesitate to watch the videos that you find challenging at 0.75 speed, for me I had to do so for JS elements and i am glad that this feature is enabled for the videos! I am excited about Plus Add-on that is coming up next!
