I am incredibly excited to celebrate this milestone of completing my final project for SheCodes Plus. The journey wasnโt always easy, but it was gratifying. For my final project, I built a weather forecast application, which allowed me to apply vanilla JavaScript and enhance its functionality to deliver real-time weather updates. SheCodes Plus has been a challenging but very fun experience, and has truly helped me to gain a better understanding of JS concepts. I like that Matt provides recaps of previous lessons to ensure full understanding - the repetition is extremely useful especially when learning a new skill. This is such an enjoyable way of learning to code, I am so happy that I have started the Basic course, and continuing to SheCodes Plus. I find the videos very clear and detailed and easy to learn from them, always can stop and go back to something to understand it better and practice. It is really helpful to use the Slack messaging platform to ask for assistance and get some advice on some of my challenges.

After completing the SheCodes Basics and Add-On program, I was very curious to continue with the Bootcamp option, and I just finished the SheCodes Plus program. I found it super funny to learn how to code in a flex and easy way, the explanations are always very clear and I feel happy and satisfied of the final result. I don't know why I dreaded starting the Python workshop; it was amazing! I enjoyed this workshop because it helped me realize how similar programming languages are, especially after learning about Javascript during the SheCodes Plus workshops. This SheCodes Plus workshop has been a great course with lots of challenges and triumphs. It has definitely increased my understanding of interacting heavily with JavaScript and seeing the interplay of building a functioning site pulling data through the use of API. Pouring over the lines of code to find out why things aren't working and troubleshooting various strategies to make fixes to the code was daunting at times, but to see everything finally come together was quire rewarding.

When we started working on a Weather app during week one of SheCodes plus, the task seemed very intimidating. Especially the requirement to incorporate real time data. Matt did an excellent job breaking down the daunting task into comprehensible lessons. At the end of the course, my Weather app project no longer felt intimidating rather, it was quite fun to work with. It felt easy enough to work on, that I challenged myself to build two additional themes for the app. I love the challenges at the end of most lessons, testing frequently is one of the best ways to retain and recall new information. What an exciting and yet a bit challenging the Plus-Add On workshop has been! I have now built "A world clock" using javaScript and it feels really good to have been able to use JS at an advanced level. Over the last two weeks, Iโve been working on an exciting project, building a World Clock application using moment.tz, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, hosted on Netlify and managed through GitHub. After 2.5 months of working on and finishing two projects โ a Weather App that provides real-time data and now the World Clock, I can confidently say that my understanding of coding and app development has improved significantly. With the World Clock project, I was able to integrate different time zones, show the current time in multiple cities, and even find my own location in real time. Over the past 8 weeks, Iโve significantly deepened my knowledge of web development, particularly in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. One of my proudest achievements during this workshop was building a fully functional weather app using Vanilla JavaScript. The SheCodes Plus challenge and course have been an incredible experience! Learning about open-source code on GitHub, hosting a website, and integrating the SheCodes Weather API and Weather Forecast API in JavaScript was both challenging and rewarding.
