I enjoyed all SheCodes courses I have taken so far - the explanations are clear, Matt provides various resources, JoΓ£o is beyond helpful in the Slack chat - and the best thing, the course is not just theory, but mostly practice. And in SheCodes Plus you have to work hard on your final project - and you learn a lot! I'm excited to continue my coding journey with the SheCodes React course.
I have absolutely loved every class I've taken through SheCodes. The Introduction to Coding workshop gave me the confidence to pursue SheCodes Plus, where I have strengthened my front end development skills. While challenging, it has been extremely rewarding - it's great to have built something that I can use in my personal life! I'm excited to continue my coding journey with the SheCodes React course.

SheCodes Plus has been instrumental in my coding development. The pragmatic structure of the tutorials and tasks has meant my learning has always been practical, and not focused purely on theory. The course has encouraged a lot of independence and sharpened my research skills as everything is not handed to me on the plate, meaning when faced with a problem with my code, I have to search for answers just as a developer would. Now I have a good grasp of Vanilla Java Script I am looking forward to utilising this using the React framework in order to build more cool and exciting projects.
SheCodes Plus React is a very interesting and understandable course. After completing SheCodes Plus I couldn't wait to see how React works. Now I know and I think it makes your code much more understandable and structured. It's definitely worth it. Thank you π
Easy-to-understand lessons in a slow enough pace but with good challenges, that will make you research some things on your own as well as let you be creative. Very sympathetic design and examples. It was fun for me to navigate the SheCodes page... and to create my own pages. Looking forward to the SheCodes Plus and React!

SheCodes Plus was more challenging than the previous workshop, however, Matt will make it easier for you by giving you tips to learn JS faster and better. This course really provides you great professional resources that you can even explore further. I really loved this workshop and I'm ready for my next learning adventure with SheCodes React!

SheCodes Plus provided a rigorous and immersive 6-week advanced coding workshop that finely crafted and sharped skills learned in the previous 4-week course. Each lesson equipped us with the skills to complete the challenging daily assignments and weekly projects and was exciting applying what I learned in the lessons to create my own functioning weather application. I am very excited to continue my coding journey in the next React course!
Thank you so much for this amazing experience! I loved the past few weeks learning more about the basics of front-end development, it was fun and challenging at the same time. Creating something from scratch in the final project was so satisfying and I am very proud of my first landing page. Can't wait to continue with the SheCodes Plus workshop!

It was a very difficult and challenging time, but the SheCodes Plus Workshop course pushed me more than ever before to keep going and to not give up in my coding journey. In several weeks I was able to learn so much more about vanilla JavaScript with the supportive team at SheCodes than I could ever have done learning just by myself. Even though my final weather app project is quite basic, I tried my hardest and best with what I could manage now, and again I'm so very glad and thankful I didn't give up. I especially love the fact that we will always have access to course materials, videos, and the Slack group even after graduating the workshop, so I am going to look over the course again and again to solidify my knowledge. I look forward to improving my skills greatly in the next workshop (SheCodes Plus React)!
What a great 3 weeks it has been! I have enjoyed every bit of it. Actually, I'm gutted it is over! The structure of the workshop was great for someone who hasn't have much experience with HTML/CSS or JavaScript and having the learning content in bite-sized chunks made it so much easier and engaging for me. I would definitely recommend this course and I hope to continue when I come back for SheCodes Plus! Before I forget, I wanted to say a quick thanks to Daniela and Joao on Slack for all the support when I needed it. You and everyone made me feel welcome and less alone !
SheCodes Plus has been an been such an enjoyable course. I have learnt so much and feel so much more comfortable with terminology and the technology. Over the weeks I can see my knowledge improve and ability to think more like a programmer.
Its been a challenging yet fun 8 weeks and finally finishing SheCodes Plus project, I'm glad I have taken this workshop.
SheCodes Plus was a bit harder than expected but the challenge was great. It took me out of my comfort zone and taught me to problem solve in a way I had never before. I loved the project and am excited to add it to my portfolio. I would highly recommend SheCodes Plus to anyone looking to challenge themselves.

It has been quite a journey. When i enrolled in the SheCodes Workshop i was extremely satisfied with Matt's teaching techniques and precision. So i decided to also enrol in the SheCodes Plus program as well as SheCodes React. I have learned and practiced and lot throughout these months and it has paid off. Once again Matt presents us with an easy-going type of teaching even though learning react is no easy task. Matt made it very easy to understand and the slack chat was very helpful as well. You will be left with a lot of knowledge and an eagerness to learn even more about React and coding in general! Thank you SheCodes π
Learning React has been incredibly challenging, but the way the course is broken down into small sections really helped with putting all the pieces together. I learnt new techniques whilst using all the other skills I learnt from the SheCodes workshop and SheCodes Plus which meant I was constantly putting everything I learnt to use. There's also always help when you need it which has been great whenever I didn't understand anything! I've loved doing this entire course over the last few months and would like to thank the SheCodes team :)
SheCodes Plus was an advanced course of coding, it took me quite a time to finish the weekly projects, however for me this is a good sign for an online course. It means that it was challenging and that it really made me learn a lot through these weeks. I cannot wait for the react course to begin!

Matt was a great instructor and explained everything in a clear and concise manner. I found taking coding online was more helpful than going to in class learning. It was helpful to be able to go back to the videos to understand how to do each exercise and homework. In the first week of the workshop I was frazzled with understanding the concepts. But now I can resoundingly say that I learned a lot and really enjoyed coding! I'm looking forward to taking SheCodes Plus! π
It's been an amazing eight weeks of learning coding and finally today I've officially completed my SheCodes plus project. Although I invested in learning a new skill, my productivity level this past few weeks has been a big challenge. Starting from September 2020, I challenged myself to learn more about programming by registering SheCodes Plus course. Coding is a precise and accurate language as omitting even one single colon could cause an error. On the other hand an interesting and charming part of the coding is that there are extra (perhaps unlimited) ways for me to use my creativity to create different approaches to find a solution. SheCodes instructor, Matt kindly taught how we can code and what tools we would use such as Bootstrap, GitHub, and API so while taking a course at SheCodes as a student, we could already imagine what an actual work would look like as IT professionals. The course contents were not an easy course to absorb and digest immediately. Definitely it took additional time for me (compared to 3 weeks of Introduction to Coding workshop class) to understand what Matt was trying to teach while pausing visual contents, rewinding, repeating, etc. On the coding journey, I had several moments that I felt amazed by how well-formed and sophisticated the coding platforms are. GeoLocation course was one of my favorite parts from SheCodes Plus course (It was the most challenging content as well. I plan to spend extra time to fully understand theory and its implementation to the actual work. Having onsite communication tool, Slack was really helpful for me to raise questions and get helped from SheCodes IT staffs and students who are taking the course together. It was really worthy to learn valuable contents while fully using the online platform. I would like to take extra time to appreciate SheCodes staffs and Matt to organize such fabulous contents for the coding. I truly believe what I have learned here would be a huge milestone in my career.
SheCodes Plus was definitely more challenging than the introductory SheCodes...but that made it all the more rewarding to complete! I now have an even greater respect for the work developers do every day, and may even try my hand at some Plus coding for myself on the side. An excellent, and well taught, course for those looking to deepen their coding skill set.
I loved learning how to work with different types of API's and how to integrate them in your own Javascrip code. Although it was sometimes tricky to keep up with the week by week learning content while having a full time job, I really like being challenged to learn something new everyday. Definitely can recommend SheCodes Plus to anyone who wants to dive into the world of Front End Development :D
Prior to this workshop I had zero experience with coding. Interested in making a career change, I researched various workshops and schools online for beginners. SheCodes not only delivered great tutorials, but made it accessible to someone like me with zero background in coding. I learned how to code in 3 weeks, and have found myself actually enjoying it. Whew! What could I say this time? Well, I can surely say that, if after finishing the first SheCodes workshop I enjoyed learning to code, now I've definitely fell in love with it. Matt is an amazing instructor, and the lessons were really clear and well-organized. I definitely learned so much from him. The deadlines are also reachable, I could manage even though this time my days were busier than the time I was part of the first workshop. I'm really happy to have been part of SheCodes Plus, mainly because it helped me to realize that I definitely want to keep learning about coding (I'm decided to be a programmer), and it gave me a great base to continue my studies here now.

At times, I found the course quite challenging but I was determined to not ask for help and find out the solution on my own. It is so rewarding with being able to do it correctly! I would recommend this course to anyone looking to get a basic knowledge of coding. The videos and challenges made it really simple to understand and really enjoyable! The homework and final project that was set was fun as well I'm hoping to be able to continue onto SheCodes Plus soon!

I enjoyed this workshop so much! I hold a PhD in Neurobiology and I was an absolute beginner before starting this workshop. I thought my brain won't be able to get how to code. I am truly amazed how quick we learnt and what we are already able to do! True, we still have a lot to learn (so google will be your best friend for a while :D ) but it is also so addictive. I am definitely going to continue with SheCodes Plus, I am so excited!! I love your approach, it is totally fitting how I like to work and learn: the deadlines, the interactions on Slack, everything is so well-organised! I have already recommended it to my friends. I am EXTREMELY happy and proud that I completed SheCodes Plus. Once I took the SheCodes intro course I knew I needed to continue to SheCodes PLus. With my job, my school work, and Shecodes lessons I had a lot on my plate. But with the extra help from the SheCodes tutors and Matts excellently videos it made it exciting and helpful to learn. This was challenging for me because I was still new to the coding world. Now, I feel much more confident to continue and my education in coding. My goal would be to make this into a future career. The next step for me is Shecodes React and I can not wait!

Getting through SheCodes Plus has been a wonderful voyage of discovery. I could have never imagined that I would be able, one day, to build a fully-functioning, interactive weather app from scratch! And in less than 3 months! Simply mind-blowing. Some lessons were harder than others, but overall I have managed to understand a good 80% of the whole course - which is still a total win for me! I am excited to continue my coding journey with SheCodes React and see where it takes me.
If the year 2020 taught me something that's that we need to be the ones with the control over our lives. So I googled a lot for some basic programing courses, until I found out about SheCodes. Matt is a very good teacher, his way of explaining is very simple and easy for a total beginner as me, and the support team is excellent, with very fast responses. All together I am very satisfied with the SheCode courses, and will be coming back for SheCodes Plus or SheCodes Plus React definitely.
This first part of the SheCodes Plus Programm was amazing. Matt is an awesome teacher and explains everything so well. I will highly recommend this cours. If you think about learning a new skill go for it you will not regret it.
Highly recommend all three workshops with SheCodes! I do wish React was longer and it would be nice to have a different project from the weather app in SheCodes Plus, though I do appreciate seeing how to take a vanilla js project and build it through React. The SheCodes team is extremely helpful and I enjoyed being part of the community on Slack. After completing all three workshops, I believe more education is needed before applying to any junior development roles, but this is an amazing start and provides a lot of resources and knowledge to get you started in software development!
Super helpful in learning new coding techniques. I had a little trouble keeping up and understanding why certain functions were built the way they were and that wasn't completely explained that well but overall, it's a great start and I look forward to continuing my journey with SheCodes Plus React!
SheCodes Plus is incredibly rewarding, even with some of its difficult moments. Just like in SheCodes Workshop, Matt continues to break down complex concepts in simple and straightforward lessons. The modules are designed with challenges and assignments that make you apply what you have just learned right away. SheCodes Plus was a real challenge. I learned a lot and the support from teachers was great. The course material was really good to create a simple project. When I tried to make my project more complex, I found the help I needed through the slack channel.

I really enjoyed the process of working on my SheCodes Plus Project. I was able to use all that I learned in my two workshops to make something impressive! This was a great way to commit all that I learned to my memory in a fun and effective way.
I never taught I could even learn coding! But Shescodes and MattΒ΄s detailed lessons are so good that it becomes any easy task. I loved that the videos are all very shorts, and give you the opportunity to practice what you just learned right away. It has been a great workshop and IΒ΄m definitely in for the Shecodes Plus. Trust me, coding is FUN!
SheCodes Plus has been very challenging for me, but I have enjoyed every single minute of it. I have learnt so many things and went from zero knowledge in coding to build my own web page. The team is amazing and very supportive!
I chose 3 out of 5 for this product for a few different reasons. Some of the reasons I will list have a positive and a negative side to them. I am continuing on to complete the Plus and React courses as well, but the Workshop has set the tone for me in regards to expectations from SheCodes. POSITIVES: (1) SheCodes will help me reach a decent skill level in coding languages and software that are brand new to me. (2) The instructor provides good resources for you to further your knowledge [on your own]. (3) You can learn most of this information for FREE online, but the key to SheCodes is the packaging. You would have a difficult time finding a similar course that includes infrastructure, support and accountability. In my opinion, that is where SheCodes SHINES and is the primary benefit of learning code through this platform. NEGATIVES: (1) While the instructor points you in the right direction to helpful resources, I feel that SheCodes should also provide reference materials within the program (material created by SheCodes). The documentation for each lesson is helpful but it is inconvenient to hunt down, for example, how to properly code an event listener in JavaScript after I have moved on from that lesson. Also, the documentation for topics were introduced too early or too late. There were a few times where I remember watching the video then viewing the documentation and seeing concepts that had yet to be discussed in the videos - which also makes it harder to hunt down documentation later on while working on the project. (2) In the same vein, I also wish that there was actual documentation. The documentation included are examples at best, but I feel with the cost of the program, there should be accompanying text. Personally, I grasp concepts so much better when I can read something through. I understand you learn code by doing it, but I should have the option to read and understand why, for example, I have to change an image display to block if I want to center it on the webpage. The instructor videos VERY LIGHTLY scratch the surface of each language, and I feel that I deserve WAY more out of SheCodes for the cost. I still have 2 more sessions of SheCodes so maybe I will find more value along the way. CONCLUSION: SheCodes has good packaging but it only gets 3 stars from me, because I will still have to find and/or create my own reference materials to retain the skills I've learned. I am continuing on to SheCodes Plus then React, so I am excited to keep learning (especially so quickly)! However, I fear this will only amount to three INTRODUCTORY courses that I overpaid for.
Those last 3 weeks were very interesting and inspiring. I learned so much in an approachable and fun way. I would, for sure, recommend this workshop to my friends and I will definitely develop my skills and enroll in SheCodes Plus π
SheCodes Plus was an amazing and challenging course. In just 2 months I have learned more advanced HTML, CSS and JavaScript (comparing to what I knew from a previous course) and add up some more skills - like working with API, GitHub, Bootstrap and Hosting. The whole SheCodes team in the front with Matt was incredibly helpful and motivational. The whole course is made so unbelievable well that even though you might have tons of work or school, you still will happily watch all the videos, do all the challenges and basically spend 8+ hours each week learning to code. And luckily, you will see the results! I highly recommend this course to anyone who thinks that coding might be something interesting for her. I am definitely going to do the next course React and silently hoping that SheCodes will make some more courses.

I had no doubts about taking SheCodes Plus once I finished the initial workshop because of how much I enjoyed the learning process and I am glad I did! The class is super organized and extremely well thought out. The step by step structure allows you to learn efficiently - the class is challenging but not overwhelming because of how well it's set up. The team is also super helpful on Slack - I always had my questions answered every time I hit a roadblock. I would recommend this course to anyone who is interested in learning to code!
SheCodes has provided me with new skills to boost my resume and open up job opportunities. I look forward to continuing on with SheCodes Plus!
I found SheCodes Plus a little more challenging. Time management is very important and just needed to make the time. However, after review the material a few times, I was able to see the connections with previous and new material in order to develop a working app. I look forward to SheCodes with React and plan on more dedication to meeting deadlines.
I have absolutely loved this course! everything is so well set up, all of the course lessons are well structured and easy to follow. I have been working full time while doing sheCodes Plus and have been able to fit it around my schedule easily

What a fun & challenging course. I do not have a coding background so continuing to SheCodes Plus pushes my limits to see what I'm capable of. Definitely lots to learn & I can't wait to see what SheCodes React has in store!
The SheCodes Plus workshop is great value for money - there's so much to learn and so much to experiment with. I really feel like I know so much more than when I started out. I have really enjoyed the SheCodes Plus course; the format of the course made learning enjoyable, and at no point did I feel overwhelmed as lessons were broken down into manageable segments with challenges at the end in order to check understanding. I have always felt supported throughout and am really looking forward to starting the final React workshop!
SheCodes Plus was a lot of fun to see your design come alive! It definitely has made me interested in other fields of tech outside of web design. I can't wait to complete the react workshop!

I highly recommend SheCodes Plus for anyone who wants to learn how to build a working website from scratch. The fact that the lessons are divided into topics helped me a lot to understand the step-by-step process of building a website that can provide important information such as the current weather. I am very happy that I now have a published website that accurately states the weather in any city in the world.
Working through my first SheCodes class, I was excited learning about HTML & CSS, but was scared to learn about Javascript, based on stories I was told. I completed my first class, and then did SheCodes plus, and javascript was almost nothing! I started my SheCodes React, and was terried, but Matt made it easy, and explains everything thoroughlyso you understood why it was that way. If there were more SheCodes courses, I would most definitely be signing up!
After graduating from the SheCodes Introduction to Coding, I went on to SheCodes plus - it's been an overall fantastic learning experience. Matt is a fantastic teacher and Lexi has kept in regular contact checking in, which really adds to the experience. I studied Computer Science at University, but felt I was unable to code, and had zero confidence in myself. It has been a few years since I graduated from university, and I felt ready to step back into the field. I now want to continue my journey, take the next step with SheCodes to learn React, then continue my learning with the aim to begin a career as a software developer.
SheCodes Plus has really improved my skills in my job as a software tester. I am now much more skilled at writing quality bugs and pointing developers to the issue, even helping to debug code and setting up the automation testing on our project. I could not have done it without Matt, Jorge and the SheCodes community!
